Apr 7 15:26:19 DESCEND with CAUTION ♥ 1 A very difficult game, but in a good way. Dying felt like it was due to my own lack of skill rather than the game being unfair. However, the low-gravity section felt too hard for my taste and I couldn't finish it. Overall a very solid game which can easily be expanded into a full-release. 2576m
Apr 7 15:30:34 4m 15s Deep Dwarf Fantasy ♥ 1 Where can I play the game?
Apr 7 15:39:55 9m 21s Combat Wombat ♥ 2 You have a nice concept here, but the execution could really benefit from all the tricks platformer games use. E.g., Always make the hitbox for things that could hurt the player smaller than the graphics (I noticed that the lava killed without even touching it which indicates its hitbox is too big), Coyote time (The player should be able to jump even after leaving the ground for a short period). Checkout Jonas Tyroller's video below, it goes into much more details into making your controls tight yet forgiving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFsJIrm2btU
Apr 7 15:47:15 7m 20s EchoAbyss ♥ 2 Nice concept here, but you really need to make the player hurtbox smaller as I died multiple times without even touching rocks/jellyfish
Apr 8 10:00:55 18h 13m Desmos Cave Game ♥ 0 This is briliant, but the real question is can you make it run doom?
Apr 8 10:07:57 7m 02s Echo Dive ♥ 1 Very nice concept and the execution is quite nice actually. It really has the potential, you can expand it with more missile type, turbos that make the ship go faster, or whaterver. I know you've used assets for graphics and audio but they still come together very well. All in all, good job.
Apr 8 10:43:28 35m 31s Captain Peggles: That Man's Chest ♥ 4 Another banger from Sheepolution. Great conept executed flawlessly. Solid 5/5
Apr 8 11:37:17 53m 49s Cartoscoot ♥ 2 Very fun game, but it suffers from bugs which I reported on itch. Also, I noticed if I completed a level and I left a potion not picked up it would consider it not '100%' complete not sure if that is intended or not. Also, I can't say I am a fan of the combat system, it felt kinda weird. I am really looking forward to a post-jam version with fixes so I can complete the game.
Apr 8 13:00:59 1h 23m Debts in the Depths ♥ 1 Screenshot 2025-04-08 165747.png Really solid game with a lot of depth, monsters leveling up, your shots can attack enemies or heal frinedlies, etc. Not to mention the juicy pixel art. The only thing I despised was the mana meter, it was very hard to keep track of it with all the action on the screen the can even hide it sometimes. I really think a simple 1s cooldown could have worked better. With that said 5/5 game
Apr 9 15:46:04 26h 45m Bellophobia ♥ 1 You have a great concept there, but it suffers greatly from difficult controls. I see that you were trying to experiment with controls, which is a great thing-don't get me wrong-and game jams are all about experimentation. But you need to remember also not to make the player alienated, or you will risk losing them right out of the gate. Also, if I am not mistaken, the game lacked any real opposition or lose state which removes all the pressure that gets players to act right and quick. With that said, congratulations on submitting your game and don't let what I say discourage you, instead take it as feedback for your next games.
Apr 9 15:50:37 4m 33s For the last hug ♥ 1 لقطة شاشة 2025-04-09 194923.png I can't seem to find a link to play the game 😔. Looking forward to try this.
Apr 12 17:16:11 73h 25m Explorem Ipsum: Catacombs of Time ♥ 1 I really liked this idea of open ended puzzles but the actual puzzles felt a bit frustrating to me, or being extra tedious like needing to move boxes from an entirely different room.
Apr 13 15:27:13 22h 11m SIRTET ♥ 1 I always like the idea of taking a well know premise and flipping it on its head and Sirtet is no exception. The idea of the game seems simple enough but oh boy is it hard, the best I could get was 7m.
Apr 16 14:20:05 70h 52m Interstellar Dragon - Into the depths... of space! ♥ 1 I really love the cute graphics. However, gameplay suffers from being a bit too simplistic, the only thing you can do is dodge constantly. Compare to other endless-runner games where you have coins to collect, power-ups to help you avoid obstacles and so on. Looking at your profile I see this is your first game jam game which is a really impressive achievement, give yourself a clap for that.
Apr 16 14:36:41 16m 36s Europan Expedition ♥ 1 Took me a while to figure out the whole waypoint business. Great game and lovely graphics. Maybe just make the movement faster next time.
Apr 16 14:42:53 6m 12s Mine For It All ♥ 1 I never really understood the point of such games. But I can see this idea becoming the next cookie clicker
Apr 16 14:46:41 3m 48s Blurbl ♥ 0 Really cool idea. I would really love to see a full game out of this in the future.
Apr 18 13:34:51 46h 48m DESENTIA ♥ 1 I really like how full of juice this was and the depth (pun intended) it had with the different characters swap/mine and items. Good job
