Apr 7 07:24:29 FROG can't go back home this a-way ♥ 2 I like the frog design. I think the particle effect of the gun is misplaced, making it hard to understand that it's what makes you jump (I was playing without audio at first so when I turned it on I realized). Lacks some instructions / visual clues to help the player, for example it's hard to assess when you're gonna die by falling from too high, what the gun is used for (like I mentionned), how to deal with enemies, etc.
Apr 7 07:51:59 27m 30s Focus! ♥ 1 Very well executed ! I think a little clue could have help ("click to interact" or something), because at first I didn't understand why you couldn't just shoot at the sniper on the roof ! Love the music and art, the dialogues audio and UI can become a bit annoying ! That was before I realized it didn't block the gameplay, but a way to speed up / close dialogs manually would be better for user experience :) Anyway, nice entry, good job !
Apr 7 07:55:05 3m 06s Wrinkles ♥ 1 Very funny and unique puzzle mechanic ! A key to reduce the circles size wouldn't hurt the gameplay I think, just to require less restarts. Great job :)
Apr 7 08:06:12 11m 07s SATURATION ♥ 2 It goes very well with the theme as it clearly gives a sensation of depths :) However the game lacks clear goals which doesn't make it very fun to play, even for a slow experience it is quite empty, something like 3D arrows indicating a goal to reach and the position of the ship after you exit it would have been nice. Good execution tho, I like the enemies animations.
Apr 7 08:12:35 6m 23s Spring Drill ♥ 1 It's an interesting game loop, I think polishing it and adding more variations for the tiles behavior would have been a better choice than to add collectibles (which doesn't bring anything to the gameplay and is a bit annoying to collect). Good job
Apr 7 08:17:44 5m 09s DownThread ♥ 1 Very nice, polished and well executed. Simple yet efficient game loop ! +1 for adding difficulty modes and a survival mode. Lot of potential for adding a bunch of new features and variations to make it a full game :)
Apr 7 13:32:07 5h 14m . ♥ 1 I see a lot of work for making this game that looks very polished and professional ! I see also your inspiration from Balatro of course ! Love how you you put some tutorials to guide the player through the game (it was a bit hard to understand the rules at first but after a couple of games it makes sense!). Now some technical downsides which are totally forgivable considering that it was made in such a short amount of time : - the camera movement when your cursor is at the bottom of the screen could have been removed as it's more annoying than anything. - the rules when you highlight the deck are too small to be readable (even in full screen it's quite small), I think these texts could be bigger and much more concise! - the black border to pick where to place the selected card is not clear enough, selecting a card should highlight the selected target area and the other "possible" areas should also be highlighted in a more discrete way. That's it, otherwise great entry, congratulations!
Apr 7 13:41:31 9m 24s Shafted ♥ 1 Good gameloop, I enjoyed playing it :) I think the whole game could be better if it was more nervous : faster movements, faster transition (like when the card stops for the upgrades picking), game over immediately if you don't have pickaxe anymore and not enough gold to buy a new one, etc. Otherwise it's pretty solid, nice job!
Apr 7 13:51:33 10m 02s Binary Bomber ♥ 0 Oh yeah I didn't get the double jump either, a small hint always helps! The parallax doesn't seem right as the person before me mentioned. Otherwise it's an interesting entry with unique graphics !
Apr 7 13:56:11 4m 38s Living Lift ♥ 1 Really nice graphic style ! The camera collisions are a bit annoying, too bad. The game is smooth and the dialogues are funny! Good job
Apr 7 14:03:40 7m 29s DeepFrame 9 ♥ 1 Nice one, the game loop is addictive ! The sound fx when dragging is a bit annoying but the music is great ! Good polishing !
Apr 7 14:05:11 1m 31s Shootwell ♥ 1 God it's hard haha! But simple and addictive. It reminds me of Gunstar Heroes underground mine level! Good job
Apr 7 20:50:09 6h 44m Depth of your Thoughts ♥ 2 I'm french so I had the chance to enjoy the full story 😄 I'm really surprised by this "pure narrative" entry, it is obvious that you don't have a lot of development skills yet, still you managed to focus on your strengths and produce a very enjoyable experience. Congrats!!
Apr 7 21:10:11 20m 02s escape-the-dungeon-what-did-he-do-to-deserve-this ♥ 1 Remember the 3C (Character, Camera, Controls) 😄 Your character is funny in my opinion, but the camera has big issues when the walls block the view, and the controls are very counterintuitive ! I really encourage you to focus on having a good camera behavior and slick controls before anything else when developing your next games :) Otherwise the gameloop is fine, no bugs from my testing, good job!
Apr 7 21:15:13 5m 02s Hooked ♥ 1 Very nice entry! Clean, cute, and that "async" gameplay where you have to pump air and move at the same time is quite smart and works very well with the diving suit theme! Great job 😄 🦈
Apr 7 21:35:46 20m 33s Sushi Pit ♥ 1 Impossible to play 😫
Apr 7 22:44:04 1h 08m Heaven Denied ♥ 1 I think it's a very nice game! Who would have thought it's so exciting to be the judge at the gates of heaven/hell ? 👼 🗝 The only thing that is a bit annoying is having the UI in the 3D space, having to turn your head all around to get the informations and click buttons, it would have work just fine with a 2D interface and fixed point of view I believe. If you make it 2d and more interface based like Papers Please, I think it could honestly make a quite successful Steam game. Please develop it, I would definitly play that 😄
Apr 7 23:07:53 23m 49s Dyamid ♥ 2 Awesome entry! Very clever mechanic and design, no downside to me really. CONGRATS!!
Apr 8 07:08:12 8h 00m Deepsweeper ♥ 1 Clever ! Pretty interesting idea :) Not sure the FPS navigation is the most convenient solution, maybe switching between 6 views (so one per box face) with a bit of camera tilt following the mouse movement would have been more practical 🤔 Anyway, nice that you implemented the 3d minesweeper algorithm in such a small amount of time! Good job!
Apr 8 07:10:11 1m 59s skibidi digging madness ♥ 1 Hahaha! First time I see a game made on scratch here, funny entry :)
Apr 8 07:14:46 4m 35s Painball ♥ 2 This is really great, you've made an awesome job with this entry, congratulations! The concept is great and the execution is super high quality! Love it ! Can't believe you even had time to make a leaderboard :D
Apr 8 07:18:29 3m 43s DropDeep ♥ 1 Nice! Simple yet solid gameloop with a great risk vs reward balance, clean execution and polishing, AND funny :D Great job!
Apr 8 22:47:36 15h 29m A Mining Game ♥ 0 It's like that good old motherload flash game (or "a game about digging a hole" more recently), nice that you've made this in such a short amount of time ! Adding a twist to the gameplay would have make it a unique game :)
Apr 10 09:32:38 34h 45m Depth Divers ♥ 0 Lovely retro aesthetic !
Apr 13 21:30:21 83h 57m Mind the Depth ♥ 1 Great entry, awesome idea and very good execution !
Apr 13 22:25:42 55m 21s Toilet Diver ♥ 1 Pretty good and funny entry, looks polished (except for the air supply UI maybe that could have been a bit better). I like the controls, camera effects, backstory and character animation :) Congrats!
Apr 18 18:29:17 116h 03m Nine Lives Deep ♥ 3 Super polished and well designed, good job !
