| Oct 7 05:44:49 | (o o) | ♥ 4 | I love a good bullet-hell game and this was no exception. Cool music and artstyle as well! Also impressive that you had time to add a leaderboard! | |
| Oct 7 05:57:14 | 12m 25s | Gnorberium | ♥ 0 | I love this, reminds me of sushi cat. I got to wave 26! |
| Oct 7 06:19:48 | 22m 34s | Good Morning Oswald | ♥ 2 | This game was very... interesting. I found the main character was very relatable. I love how smooth the platforming was. I did find it a bit tedious to have to refresh the game when I realized I had missed some horseshoes at the top, and then realizing there's more horseshoes even higher haha. But it was very fun to try and find all of them, and the ending was pretty fun as well. The peni- I mean graphics were great and the music was as well. Great job! |
| Oct 7 06:43:24 | 23m 36s | Gobbo Freakout | ♥ 2 | This is a really cool idea! I enjoyed the gameplay once I figured it out. I think some simple things could really improve how you communicate the game to the player like: - Add an outline to the current ability thats being used - When the player is using an ability give them a small tip like when you press walk you could show arrow keys / AD. And when you press shoot you can show a mouse and write like click, hold & aim - Make it clearer which abilities you can still use, so after the player has used an ability you can disable that ability by making the button a bit darker for example. - Show when its the players turn, you could do this by just having text like "Goblin 1 turn..." "Goblin 2 turn..." "Player turn!". Or you could do it by having a row of icons of the creatures and a white border for the creature whos turn it is right now. I know you have a tutorial but most people skip will skip it or never click it, communication inside the gameplay goes a long way to get the player more into the game and faster. Anyways the game is still obviously playable and fun, really impressive for 48 hours! Well done! |
| Oct 7 06:51:33 | 8m 09s | Birbs Chat | ♥ 2 | I tried this yesterday while the server was online. I love that you made a literal working chat room for this jam. Multiplayer is no easy task so I applaud you for making this in such a short timespan! I think some small minigame for everyone to participate in would be fun, like a word on the wall that gets slowly revealed like "b**d" and people could guess it like "BIRD" and then it would just show "Jejkobb guessed the word first!". Anyways just a potential idea if you decide to keep working on it a bit. Great job! |
| Oct 7 07:00:57 | 9m 24s | Bug-Bash Buggy | ♥ 1 | Very cool game, the tutorial was very funny and I enjoyed smushing all the bugs!! Almost didn't survive the ending, also the graphics are awesome! |
| Oct 7 07:09:34 | 8m 37s | Chameleon Rhytm and... Flies | ♥ 1 | Love the graphics! You say the game is simple, but simple is good when it comes to jams! Good job on making a game! |
| Oct 7 07:23:04 | 13m 30s | Cardboard Kitty | ♥ 2 | This is one of the coolest looking games I've seen in a long time. How did you manage to make it so hyperrealistic but also stylized!? Very cool game, I think this has a good chance of getting #1 on graphics! |
| Oct 7 07:34:14 | 11m 10s | Tiny Zoo | ♥ 0 | Absolutely loved this!! Amazing that you managed to make this in 48 hours!! |
| Oct 7 07:49:51 | 15m 37s | Butterjar | ♥ 2 | I really enjoyed this, feels simple but is also pretty complex! The "burn everything" level was fun haha. Love the graphics, well done! |
| Oct 7 08:00:03 | 10m 12s | Color Critters | ♥ 1 | Really cool puzzle game, you did a great job explaining the basics of the game and then increasing the difficulty! Well done! |
| Oct 7 08:09:40 | 9m 37s | Bee Incremental | ♥ 1 | I love incremental games and I've made a few myself. I love that we can see the bees working, feels very satisfying! Great job! |
| Oct 7 11:40:31 | 3h 30m | The Rubber Room | ♥ 2 | Loved this game!! I had a fun time. After a couple tries I ended up winning, but for some reason my score said 00000, earlier I was able to upload a highscore of 3000 something though. Either way really fun! (Maybe you remember me I used your leaderboard service before) [rubberRoom.PNG](///raw/759/a/z/66216.png) |
| Oct 7 12:37:02 | 56m 31s | A Taste for Nuts | ♥ 1 | Really cool concept, its quite a lot of information to understand in the beginning, but once you get used to it its really fun. Well done! |
| Oct 7 13:04:15 | 27m 13s | Ephyra | ♥ 4 | Really cool game! I love how you used simple controls to create complex gameplay! Feels like its easy to learn but has a high skill ceiling! Well done. |
| Oct 7 13:21:02 | 16m 47s | Petri Wars | ♥ 1 | I love the art, its hard to get such a fluid feeling with pixel art and you did it amazingly well. Feels like perfectly complex game for a game jam, easy to get into, hard to master. Well done! |
| Oct 7 13:47:25 | 26m 23s | Mantis Melee | ♥ 2 | Amazing game, feels like everything has been paid attention to, the music the graphics the gameplay. It all feels super solid. And the game is fun too! Well done! |
