| Oct 9 11:01:27 | It's all about the swarm | ♥ 1 | Fun game. The swarm effect is really well done, and the style is funky. Someframes drop makes it a bit harder to enjoy, but still cool. Good job! :) | |
| Oct 9 11:58:10 | 56m 43s | Up to Gnome Good | ♥ 2 | Great game! I really enjoyed it! YOu can throw a disco party by spamming space next to the boom boxes 😄 The character moves a slight bit too fast, that can lead to accidently going in front of the people, but besides that, very nice! The last sock was a real challenge! |
| Oct 9 12:13:26 | 15m 16s | You are What You Beat | ♥ 3 | Nice game! The concept is fun. I didn't think of keeping the mouse button down, so my wrist hurt after the final boss haha |
| Oct 9 12:27:52 | 14m 26s | Vox Regis | ♥ 1 | Woah. The style is GREAT, I love the parallax when moving the mouse. I think the game itself is fairly easy, but trying to get a low speeches win is way more challenging. Great job! Got 13 speeches on my first run, and 6 on the second. Aiming for a low count totally changes how you play! |
| Oct 9 12:45:18 | 17m 26s | Mystic Mites | ♥ 1 | I like the idea, but I could even finish the last level because for some reason, all the mites stacked together about the center of the level, and I couldn't get them go away. It could also be more clear what the clics actually do. But it is still a nice game, and a good experience :) |
| Oct 9 12:54:26 | 9m 08s | Wink and the Fae | ♥ 3 | Very fun game! Very cute art style, the music is nice, and gameplay is flawless. Great job! |
| Oct 11 15:47:23 | 50h 52m | Inverspeculum | ♥ 3 | Very cool concept. The art style is nice. But I find it a bit frustrating. It would be nice to have some checkpoints. Besides, I got many Game Over at the beginning without understanding why, like this one at the very beginning. The music loop is cool, but a bit too short. Nice game tho :) Sans titre.png |
| Oct 11 16:07:03 | 19m 40s | Mini Beaker | ♥ 6 | Oh my. By far the best game I've played of this LD yet. Everything is on point. The game is fun, jokes are good, the art style is very cute... I agree with James Tanm that just a tiny bit more explanations on new stuff would have been good, but besides that, it's perfect. Congratulation, great job! |
| Oct 11 16:27:36 | 20m 33s | Stolen Colors | ♥ 2 | I love the concept. But I didn't really understand what I was doing at first. Maybe it's just me, but I can't see the cooldown when I play, it is offscreen. That made it hard to know what to do. As others said, A tutorial level would have been really great, as well as seing the buffs you apply. This game has a great potential! |
| Oct 12 15:25:07 | 22h 57m | Wally's Woods | ♥ 0 | Fun game. The minigame is fun, in the end I did it even if there was no need, just because I wanted to see how fast I could get the inputs right. On my first game I lost because I only found two rabbits despite moving all around, which was a bit frustrating, but maybe it was just bad luck. On the second try, I lost after a while because wanted to see if something would happen by going into the water... 👀 Anyway, good game! |
| Oct 12 15:38:22 | 13m 15s | Tiny Creatures Master | ♥ 1 | Nice game. The art style is cool! The concept is interesting. Not sure if this is intended, but reseting puts you at max bugs right at the start, so it feels a bit broken. I'm not sure if having to hover something with the mouse to interact with it is really necessary. I would have prefer it to be toggle when just being close to the bug/element, but maybe that's just me :) Also, the mouse in the hub is way too sensitive imo haha But overall nice game, I wish I could see more levels. Good job! :) |
| Oct 12 15:45:56 | 7m 34s | Goober Goblins: A Nose Picking Simulator | ♥ 2 | Nice silly game 😄 The art style goes well with the theme of the game, and the sound effects really makes the experience better. Not sure if it was pure luck, but I won first try mainly by spamming. It would have been cool to have more level with progressive difficulty :) |
| Oct 12 16:58:03 | 1h 12m | Cheese Chase | ♥ 1 | My first thought was "Ouch, what's with the inertia on the mouse?!". But then I understood this was actually very clever: having a splippery like physic makes you think otherwise to get past spiders, you can be creative and bouce off the walls. The feeling when you nail it is great! As others have said, it would be cool to go straight from one level to the next, but that's just a detail. I was more disturbed by the music, which imo doesn't really fit with the spooky ambiance of the game. But still, that's some great work. The art is great, and the game is really fun! |
| Oct 12 17:04:28 | 6m 25s | Rat Chase | ♥ 0 | Simple but pretty fun. Aving to avoid more and more enemies is a nice touch :) |
| Oct 12 17:49:35 | 45m 07s | Tiny Soul | ♥ 1 | Well, I have things to say, so here we go 😄 I'm not sure how I feel about your game. One thing is for sure: I **LOVE** what you promised: a journey through a cozy autumn forest to get reincarnated into an animal, wah! \\\*.\*/ And on this, the game doesn't disappoint: visuals are gorgeous! The atmosphere is great, the lighting, the confy music... Really, well done! But to be honest, controls disheartened me. I found the mouse waaaaaaaaay too sensitive, so I ended up not using it at all (maybe it was intended this way, actually?). And sometimes I struggled to get the attributes, and fell into the water several times (maybe I'm just bad at platforming haha). On this note: I really wish falling into the water just gets you back up instead of reseting the entiere level, this was frustrating. I was also disappointed to see nothing really happens when you begin your new life as an animal. Actually play as the animal would probably have been way too much work, but just having an animation or even a picture of the animal would have been nice. I may seem to complain a lot, but I don't want to sound rude. Your game has some really neat qualities, I just feel a bit of frustration because it has a HUGE potential imo. Having a full game like this, with some diversified environment where you can get and meeting some animal NPCs, that would be a game I would buy instantly! In the end, This is without a doubt one game I will remember a long time from this Ludum Dare. You have accomplished a really beautiful and cozy game, so congratulations! Let me know if you intend to make a postjam version :) |
| Oct 12 18:02:11 | 12m 36s | Snake Rolls | ♥ 1 | Best soundtrack ever 🙃 Joke aside, I'm a bit frustrating that rolling automatically make you go forward, I wish you could do that but still going sideways Nice game |
| Oct 14 12:23:40 | 42h 21m | Cicada & Les Grenouilles | ♥ 1 | Nice to have more elements progressively. The music is catchy, but I'd love to also have some sound effects. I also didn't understand immediately that I needed to collect the diamonds in order to make the frogs shrink, but I found out pretty soon. Overall nice game :) |
| Oct 14 14:11:24 | 1h 47m | Certain Drough | ♥ 2 | Hyper fun and addictive. Very well balanced (well, unless you abuse jump to go somewhere safe on the walls then spam grenade). Also pretty, and the mushrooms sound is fun. Very great game! |
| Oct 15 10:19:49 | 20h 08m | Rat Dead Redemption | ♥ 2 | Nice work. The rats look very nice! Survival in the sewers sets up mood pretty well. I feel like your run can be ruined in a moment when a bigger group or several groups come to you right away, but I guess that's part of the game. Nice work :) |
| Oct 15 13:38:38 | 3h 18m | Traction Bugs | ♥ 1 | Well I'd love to the play the game, but for some reason, I get a black screen after the logo shows up. I still hear the sound, but it's hard to play without seing anything =/ (I also tried the potatoes) |
| Oct 15 13:55:32 | 16m 54s | Turtle Shepard | ♥ 2 | Well, the game itself is not bad, but I really wish there was more explanation. Is the lighting guiding the turtles? When I first walked onto a turtle I thought I was killing it, then I thought maybe I was putting it into my pocket to save it. When I did that for the 70 turtles and saw the message "Rescue Completed", I genuinely thought that was what I had to do. It's just by seeing other comments that I got my mistake. =( About the game itslef, the goal is simple, the execution is not, so that's cool. Sounds effects are cute as well as the character :) |
| Oct 15 14:11:10 | 15m 38s | Turtle Beach | ♥ 1 | Nice and pretty game. There are several places where you can fall out of bounds, that makes the journey quite different =pSans titre.png |
| Oct 15 14:22:23 | 11m 13s | Micecape | ♥ 1 | Well, now whe ain't gonna escape Sans titre.png Placing tiles that connect to no other makes the game fairly easy as you can just dump the ones you're not interested into. Without using that, it's a nice challenge, but sometimes a bit frustrating, because sometimes you just don't have any piece that can fit where the mouse is about to go. The randomness of the movement can also put you in a situation of the mouse just repeat the same movements and you're not in danger at all, while sometimes she rushes to the end. Anyway, the game is still pretty cool, and you can be proud of what you've done :) |
| Oct 16 15:28:55 | 25h 06m | Space Ants X | ♥ 1 | Very nice game, especially considering it was only made by one person! Fun and easy to learn mecanics. I like the twist at the end. My two small complaints are that sometimes it really feels like you burned an ant, yet somehow it still lives, and that the walls stoping you when goinf diagonaly are sometimes a bit frustrating, they feel sticky. Besides these minor things, the game is great. Good job! |
| Oct 16 16:12:01 | 43m 06s | QUACK! | ♥ 2 | Very nice game! The twist by changing in what direction go the ducks is a very good idea to give some fresh air to this concept. The game also sounds nice, and I love the music when the ducks are moving 😄 One tiny suggestion: I feel you can earn more points by just clicking whenever it's possible to a position that maybe will make you align duck, rather than actually trying to find the best move. It feels a bit like cheating, maybe you can find a way to prevent that? Good game anyway! |
