This was pretty good. Would have liked there to be a bit more to the game although i know that is hard in a game jam sometimes.

The game is minimalist, but it works well with the atmosphere. :)

I really like the setting and the view while playing. Lots of moving elements on the screen and even an idle animation for the turtle. Gameplay feels a bit random and not sure if there's a strategy to consistently win, I went just straight on my winning run. In any case good work!

Nice little game, it took a couple of tries to learn how to properly dodge seagulls. I really like the fixed camera perspective and the atmosphere of a beach sunset. I appreciate the calm nature of this game and even the times when seagull grabbed the turtle weren't feeling stressful. Really enjoyed playing this one!

Loved the turtle!!!

Loves the atmosphere ! I think the turtle could benefit from a little graphical rework to fit better in this realist environment. Very nice game anyway

Cute and charming game! Love the simple game mechanic and what you were able to do with the ambiance in the short amount of time.

Love the cute style here! Congrats guys!

The visuals and the idea is fine. I had fun trying the game, but I did never got close to the sea, and not sure how I was suppose to avoid getting caught by the seagulls.

Simple and cute game, I liked it! I was able to cheat by going under the map using the mushroom-like rock and avoid the seagulls.

@dimoseek @n-o-x @barryrichter @nocturness @thechadrampage Thank you so much for playing the game and giving feedback! We appreciate it a lot :D

@shp @jk5000 thanks for playing and the feedback! The seagulls' spawning is completely randomized based on player position, so we could have situations where you're constantly bombarded by seagulls or won't encounter one for the whole run. We'll definitely change up the spawning to be more consistent next time so it's always fair :-)

@morepixels @detectivelosos @geoffroy Thanks for the feedback and playing the game :) We definitely focused more on the player's movement, the seagull's diving, and the ambience to feel a bit more calming than stressful haha. Adding more features (like power ups or other enemies) along with making the terrain and models match was on our to-do list but couldn't get around to it unfortunately. Once again, thank you for the feedback, leaving a rating, and playing the game :D

oinkle 2024-10-11 15:42

@master-yeet We're glad you enjoyed the game and left feedback! That was a bug we experienced later on in development and realized it was due to our input systems and rigid bodies (a little too late to update everything). We definitely know what to do next time to avoid the same mistake :). Thank you for playing!

I think it encapsulates the theme very well as you are helpless by way of being so small.

Nice and pretty game. There are several places where you can fall out of bounds, that makes the journey quite different =pSans titre.png
