Oct 3 17:44:57 Bucket Buffet ♥ 2 great game! It was very fun trying to maximize the amount of food you have on your plate and hoping you will get multiple pieces of popcorn in a row :D. Sometimes its frustrating when you pick up a huge piece of cake and it instantly knocks off your other food, but that's part of the fun :D. The art quality here is really really good! And I like the random quotes that pop up, it gives you something to read while you eat. And the ambience with people talking in the back is nice
Oct 3 18:05:39 20m 42s Loot Goblin ♥ 3 wonderful game! art is awesome, story is awesome, however there are lots of small bugs which dont make the game unplayable, but they are often frustrating, like an item scraping the top of the bag meaning an automatic loss, or items breaking when you throw an item next to it. Overall, had lots of fun and i wish you the best of luck in future jams :D
Oct 3 19:31:50 1h 26m Cosmic Cargo Chaos ♥ 3 beautiful game :D, the voice acting is a nice touch, the intro sequence overall was good. I like the way the game made me manage space and how infuriating it was blocking the cargo that i needed to deliver with my own boxes. Graphics were good and the music wasnt in your face and felt very fit for space. overall, nice job, i hope you make more games like these :D
Oct 3 19:39:08 7m 18s MY LIL WIZARD ♥ 1 great graphics :D, the game does get repetitive after a while, and it fits the theme very loosely, but i had fun playing and it looks very polished which is a plus!
Oct 3 19:44:36 5m 28s Too Maneon Loots ♥ 2 Very good game, I would reccomend slowing it down a little bit at the start so that players can get a grasp of how the game works, and also telling people that items break after a while would be good, I didnt notice they were breaking until i mysteriously died and it was dissapointing.
Oct 3 19:54:09 9m 33s Deep Dreams ♥ 1 Very nice recreation of motherload done in a game jam's time! The ending was a bit abrupt but i understand you couldnt make a longer cutscene or anything like that, the art style felt very coherent, and the intro sequence was nice, simple game, well done.
Oct 3 20:06:56 12m 47s PIO ♥ 2 Nice game :D, some levels i got stuck and some were very easy, the constant sound of the eagles is very annoying though. The music is cute and the bird opening his mouth with that sound is just adorable. Nice work, keep up the good job!
Oct 3 20:24:12 17m 16s Sowscraper ♥ 3 WOW, the story here is awesome! the mood is fantastic, it all feels very melancholic and sad, the music adds to this and the story that is set in a warring nation is fascinating! My favorite entry in the jam currently, very well done! Graphics were coherent, the gameplay was innovative, and challenging, The choices you make in the story (although there arent many) are nice and overall, this game is nice. Well done to the team, I hope I'll see more games like this! X
Oct 3 20:51:25 27m 13s Dogtor Jones and the Holy Bone ♥ 3 Wow! Very nice game :D, the thumbnail caught my eye, it was very nice, and the game itself was also good :D, got to level nine and played a little bit in freeplay, and i must say, quite challenging at times, though i did have about 3 slowdowns left at the end, so maybe it would be a good idea to reward players that didnt use their time slowdowns with a bigger score perhaps? I loved the details in the animation, for example the way jones tries to push into walls when hes inside, or when he "dies" he just looks out from behind the rocks and continues exploring. very good game, liked everything about it, keep making more!
Oct 3 21:20:39 29m 14s Skypiercer ♥ 3 Oh my god! This was an awesome game! I really like how it portrays social classes and from the beginning i could feel a very creepy eerie atmosphere setting in, like something was wrong. The artstyle was phenomenal, the story was awesome, and i liked how you had different music for the different levels, just awesome. The ending was also very nice, overall, this game turned out great and you even included minigames!!! And the humour was also great. I would omit the swearing though, I think it's kind of unnecessary and will lower the size of the audience that wants to play this game, I think. I would also add sprinting to the game, because in the first floor it is kind of slow moving around. And the colour of the grass is a bit too bright, I would lower that a little bit, and the fog is a little too bright as well, especially on the ground floor. In the end, wonderful game, and keep making more! X
Oct 6 08:41:14 59h 20m Mousetropolis ♥ 1 Very solid entry, it was quite satisfying watching things evolve and sustain themselves, for a one man project (i assume) it's very good, and the voice acting is nice :D
Oct 6 08:53:35 12m 21s Ex Automata ♥ 1 Very neat game! its almost like one of those newspaper puzzles which wants you to find the criminal that did something and the only way you can get to them is by deduction, (I.E. tom has a red car, the person with the red car had a dog, mary had a dog, the person with the dog was walking to the park) and i found that really cool :D, my biggest score was around 1100, and the most fun part about this game is when you have a theory going, but then it gets broken by something not working as intended, so you have to make a new theory about how the world works, it's cool! Good luck in your future games X
Oct 6 09:26:39 33m 04s Skyland ♥ 4 Damn! I got sucked into this game and played for longer than I intended, very nice game :D. I liked the artstyle, the music was calming, and the small detail of being able to cross out where you cant put your houses is nice. I got stuck on the level "lonely mountain" and that's where I ended my playthrough. For next time, I would add an in-game tutorial so that people know exactly what lakes and mountains do, so that they don't have to rely on the ludum dare description.
Oct 6 15:04:04 5h 37m ROLLiE and the Desert Drive ♥ 2 Oh my! It reminds of a fully fleshed out flash game :D, somehow it brought me into my childhood even though I've never quite seen a game like this before. Here's some feedback, at first I was confused which attacks were mine and which were my opponent's, so I would either color-code them, or put them on each side of the screen respective of whose charging bar is whose. (though i understand in order to time your attacks they need to be close to each other). And also, the strategy I used the most was simply filling up my inventory with as many "smacks" "smack mk2" and "beam em" as possible and the rest of the space with "enhance", and I thought this strategy would fail when I encountered the shielding robot which enhanced three times and then shields, im guessing it was designed to counter the smack enhance strategy, but I beat him pretty easily, so I would nerf the smack and enhance strategy somehow, I'm not sure how though, maybe adding a limit to how many of one component you can have? I'm not sure. Other than that, this game was awesome :D, the artstyle was coherent, and nice to look at, the music was good, and not distracting, the gameplay didn't feel repetitive and it felt satisfying collecting new parts and thinking about strategies, and the story was, well it wasn't that awesome, it was generic but, since you spent all your awesomeness points on everything else the story has to take a hit I suppose, which is fine by me :D. The dialogue each robot has is also a great detail. Overall, well done! I hope you make more games in the future X
