| Oct 3 09:13:55 | HeadSpace Limited | ♥ 1 | Really incredible, especially knowing that you did everything from scratch. You really hit nostalgia and fear in equal measures with the crazy visuals and soundscape. | |
| Oct 3 09:33:57 | 20m 02s | The Signal | ♥ 1 | Wow, this game is *drenched* in charisma and fun. The vibe is just right. Unfortunately the vibe gets duller the more often you have to repeat a level, so decreasing the difficulty would probably add to the experience. |
| Oct 3 09:47:27 | 13m 30s | Before I Forget | ♥ 1 | Very cool idea with a lot of potential for further exploration! I especially like the ending that ties the mechanic in with the story in a very nice way. I just wish there was more decision making - right now I'm only guessing what I might need, or rather: what I wont need because there's enough space for most. The time during the memory-sorting implies time-pressure and I think some time pressure would fit quite well into the mechanic. Anyway, nice job overall! |
| Oct 3 09:57:11 | 9m 44s | Until You Make It | ♥ 1 | Firstup: Your embedded version doesn't work, if you weren't aware! Secondly: I am so happy that you went with this concept. While I was lying my ass off I genuinely thought "I wonder if this comes back to bite me" - and it did! Really cool idea but also completeeeely unfit for a game-jam lol. And this gets obvious in the gameplay - half the time I don't know what's even going on because the combat is just too messy. The initial part of the lying with the close-ups on the faces looked really really polished tho! Overall, very fun idea and very out-of-scope .-. I hope you'll jam again! |
| Oct 3 10:18:01 | 20m 50s | Expendable Continuum | ♥ 6 | Damn! I unfortunately died in the last system and couldn't see how the story ends. The game's really nice though! I love simulated worlds and I also love how everything devolves into chaos the longer you stay. The presentation is really amazing too. Well done! |
| Oct 3 10:24:20 | 6m 19s | Ace of Space | ♥ 1 | This is **GREAT**! What an awesome and innovative idea that fits the theme perfectly. Additionally to that, it's also just a really nice minimalistic game. Thank you for showing me something I've never seen before! |
| Oct 3 10:48:23 | 24m 03s | The thing follows your pointer | ♥ 1 | Incredibly mesmerizing to play, it really feels organic and alive. I'd love there to be more gameplay but maybe that'd actually weaken the game as an artpiece. Well done! |
| Oct 3 11:02:34 | 14m 11s | BLOCKIES | ♥ 2 | Very nice and relaxing game! I really like the theming of creating a videogame and just cramping as many features as possible into it. To really nail this idea down, I'd love to have some way to track all the things that I've put in my game, so that in the end I don't just have a highscore but can also imagine how this monstrocity of a game might look like. |
| Oct 3 17:11:49 | 6h 09m | Hardest Drive | ♥ 1 | I'm with @alexclay on this one. The game looks stunning and there's obviously a lot of love in it. The dragging of the sides towards the middle seems like such an interesting mechanic to me, the way you dragged your character into the scene in the beginning was great, and it's always great to have a tutorial at the start. Buuut the tutorial didn't tell me the game's intent, didn't introduce enemies and didn't say how the dragging of the screen should be used so I just kinda stumbled through it, pressed space a few times, and then I was apparently done. I just feel like I'm missing something here which is unfortunate because the presentation is spectacular! |
| Oct 3 17:28:59 | 17m 10s | Ability Management | ♥ 3 | Cool game! I think showing the level before you choose would be better because resetting always feels like a punishment for having f-ed up. So I feel punished by the game because I made the wrong decision after choosing randomly without any information. I especially loved the last level though. The "AHA!" moment of solving it was very nice :) |
| Oct 3 20:29:57 | 3h 00m | Shattered Spirits | ♥ 1 | I *love* the artstyle and lore behind each spirit! As others have pointed out, the gameplay is very confusing and I was able to win the last level without much strategy or thought - but I don't think a concept like this can be balanced well as part of a GameJam. Well done! |
