May 2 05:22:25 Harpoon Lagoon ♥ 2 I enjoyed the fish designs, and the transition from boating to the underwater fishing was cool.
May 2 05:34:37 12m 12s Special Delivery ♥ 2 Well done. The rotation of the package is really fun, the puzzles are interesting and no mechanic really wears out its welcome.
May 2 05:55:51 21m 14s Game Genie: Crunch Time ♥ 4 Well that was wild. I think the Golden Axe thieves might have scored more goals than I did lol. Nice little bgm track & the game genies gave me a big dose of nostalgia.
May 2 06:13:22 17m 31s Parcelmecium ♥ 1 The attachment mechanic is pretty cool, and so is the bullet-time when you zoom in to make changes / shop. Is the only place you can find green attachments in the shop? I spent a long time looking for them in the world before buying some purples and noticing they got replaced with green (seems like it might be RNG). Some health UI would be helpful, as well as some kind of vacuum effect to make picking up exp a bit easier. I think overall there's a solid core concept here with building your cell.
May 2 17:42:16 11h 28m Toad Tart ♥ 1 Very cute, soundtrack is quite relaxing. I did have to look at the comments to realize there was a tongue-shot mechanic (left click if anyone else has this issue). Was able to make the delivery afterward 🐸
May 2 17:58:30 16m 14s Impasta ♥ 3 Really enjoyed the sounds & feel of the peggle portion. Also curious on how the jokes were scored because some truly terrible ones ranked in the 7-8 range while most others were 2-3 haha. Level design was also good and kept things fresh, but unfortunately I ended up softlocked at this part: Screenshot 2023-05-02 at 12.55.12 PM.png
May 2 23:15:45 5h 17m Codename: STORK ♥ 2 I was not expecting Stork Lore, but I'm glad I got Stork Lore. Fun concept, great job for a compo entry.
May 2 23:32:38 16m 53s Delinquent Delivery ♥ 1 Enjoyed the sprite work and the BGM. The dodge roll was also pretty fun. Too bad Dusty Dan only brought his fists to a knife & gun fight, but that's a game jam for you I suppose. Good job!
May 3 17:29:11 17h 56m Broomstick Blitz ♥ 1 I played through the main story, and was able to complete everything but the final delivery in one go. Cranking up the speed as you fly as probably my favorite part, it felt good to zoom over the dropoff when I lined up properly.
May 4 04:24:35 10h 55m Culling Cards ♥ 3 I really like the environment art, I got an Inscryption vibe from the game in general. Trying to conserve packs adds an interesting dimension to the usual decision making. I was able to clear the left choice ending. Only critical feedback would be that I would have been ok with 10 rooms instead of 12, as it was starting to feel pretty same-y by then. Pretty minor issue overall though, this was a very good entry!
May 5 01:38:20 21h 13m QWOPcopter ♥ 4 It's definitely what it says on the tin. It took me a while but I was able to get through the tutorial level after noticing the button (and focusing on staying patient). After that I'd had my fill of QWOP'ing 😂 The art's pretty good, the parallax effect on the city background adds welcome visual depth. Also, I went back out of curiosity to try the controls on "hard" and yup, quite hard haha.
May 5 01:49:53 11m 33s Divine Messenger ♥ 1 I'm glad the sfx for falling far are pretty cool, cause I was hearing that one a lot lmao. Background music is relaxing, which is good because if you're not into this style of platformer you'll probably be in for a rough time. I think a meter showing how much you've charged up the jump would be helpful to help the player gauge when to release the jump. The "facing forward" sprite also made me chuckle, I haven't really seen many people have a sprite for that state haha.
May 5 18:22:29 16h 32m Totally Legal Baby Delivery ♥ 3 The first game to get me to laugh out loud to myself. The special camera and bullet-time effect when the baby gets close to the delivery zone was excellent.
May 6 00:32:05 6h 09m Maily Melo ♥ 4 I think this is the best looking of the letter-delivering games I've seen so far. The squash & stretch animations along with the emote on delivery add a lot of character. I would have to agree with some of the feedback on a few of the letters being vague enough that I just guessed, and sending letters back didn't feel like it fit the flow. Totally understand that time is the enemy here though 😛 Good work overall!!
