Oct 3 15:24:07 Jam Session ♥ 2 Extremely fun, and I can see how it would get addictive! I wanted to try all the different combinations of power ups! (Sadly, the rotating lines in the background during some parts of it made me too dizzy to play for too long)
Oct 4 23:50:27 32h 26m Cat Wave RUN ♥ 2 I enjoyed the simplicity of the gameplay! I died basically immediately the first time but with trial and error it was chill to play and fun!
Oct 4 23:54:07 3m 40s Flash Scrumble ♥ 3 Highly enjoyed this game (my cabbages!)! I love the idea of having 6 games in one. (did find the card part a bit difficult to figure out while in rush mode, but the graphics and sound design were good and it invoked the best parts of games like wario ware)
Oct 4 23:57:50 3m 43s Out To Pasture! ♥ 1 Very pretty game, though I found the controls difficult to handle (I only have a trackpad for a mouse which might contribute) and it wasn't clear at first the sheep didn't take themselves home (they'd disappear over the horizon and then they'd be gone forever as far as my fight with the camera was concerned) Not on theme?
Oct 5 02:53:29 2h 55m Someware ♥ 0 I enjoyed the warioware reference! The controls could be a bit finicky, but I appreciated that there wasn't too much consequences for failure, so it felt more chill and exploratory.
Oct 5 02:57:32 4m 03s Barely Something Barely Somewhere Every Ten Seconds ♥ 2 I am highly intrigued and want to follow this game to see where it's going...that said, i couldn't figure out how to play at ALL (neither mouse nor keyboard seemed to do anything), but I *loved* watching the lil guys run around on screen and live their lives. (I'm a sucker for zero player games)
Oct 5 21:09:37 18h 12m 10 Seconds Ambush ♥ 1 Loved the bass heavy music, and the fact that all projectiles vanished after ten seconds made the genre oddly strategic. I enjoyed it. Lil hard for me.
Oct 6 04:23:29 7h 13m 10-Second Magic Artist ♥ 1 Amazing game, fun concept, enjoyed that it did its best even when I was messing with it (a single dip of paint really did end up with a mostly white canvas)
Oct 7 02:01:10 21h 37m It Hunts! ♥ 0 I wasn't what sure the parts looked like to even recognize them if i found them so I ended up just wandering around for a few minutes lost. I liked the atmosphere of the game, it really felt ominous and foreboding. Eventually I found the monster so I ran up to it to end the game.
Oct 7 02:09:38 8m 28s Avery, 10 seconds! ♥ 1 I'm terrible at platformers, so I didn't make it too far in, but really enjoyed the lil meer cat jumping around. The random effects were interesting, and combined with the low penalty for failure really helped give it a "trial and error" vibe.
Oct 8 02:34:04 24h 24m Crash Landed ♥ 1 Extremely fun! I really enjoyed upgrading the gun to shoot fast enough i could use it as "echolocation" and determine which way to to run to avoid the bugs as I looked for new places to mine. I can agree that away to better see places already mined (or partially mined, since towards the end I'd spend multiple days mining the same spot while fending off bugs) would be useful. Also can agree the lighting engine was great!
Oct 8 02:45:00 10m 56s Prism Protector ♥ 1 Very fun! I didn't think the match 3 genre had room to innovate, but I hadn't seen that twist on it before! I also liked that I kept trying to get in the mind set of "oh god its happening real time, you have ten seconds between firing" when I'm so used to match 3 being at your own pace.
Oct 8 02:56:37 11m 37s EPOCH ♥ 1 Oh, I LOVE this game, its exactly my vibe. Ever shifting labyrinth of broken code... You've inspired me. This is my fav of this jam for sure.
Oct 8 14:02:45 11h 06m Eat Your Mushrooms ♥ 1 It was hard to find mushrooms in time by the end, and the enemies seemed to expand exponentially and would just mob me. The fact that the attacks were automatic was something it took me a while to realize. Overall I found it fun and enjoyed seeking out level ups.
Oct 9 22:43:52 32h 41m The Tenth Second Son ♥ 3 Definitely stood out compared to the other entries, loved the graphics and the music was p solid, too. I wasn't able to figure out how to beat it (the people I managed to talk to didn't really have anything important to say?), but I can see how it has potential, good luck!
Oct 10 20:28:32 21h 44m Cypon ♥ 1 I really enjoyed how fun it was to get the projectiles up as fast as they went, 10/10. I can agree I wasn't sure what the shield was for, tho I liked pushing the enemies around. (Why upgrade it? It didn't seem to get MORE shieldy?) Oh, and I was surprised there was actually a boss, even though it was mentioned. A lot of games like these are just "survive infinite hoards", so I enjoyed that.
Oct 10 20:36:25 7m 53s Kitten Space Opera ♥ 2 The graphics were great and the lighting effects were really fun!
Oct 12 00:14:33 27h 38m Stop The Plague ♥ 1 At first I thought it wasn't working, but then I realized you could manually scroll down to get the full screen and everything worked great from there. I found the game play a bit repetitive and hectic, but greatly enjoyed watching the colors spread around. Fun and innovative idea!
