| Oct 4 07:59:54 | Birdwatching | ♥ 3 | Looks like a nice idea, unfortunately I don't seem to be able to play. When I type nothing happens and pressing space scrolls to the bottom of the page.. | |
| Oct 4 08:04:40 | 4m 46s | What's Under The Teapot? | ♥ 2 | This is way to easy especially as the objects don't move. |
| Oct 5 21:41:57 | 37h 37m | Taking over the world | ♥ 0 | The controls are a bit confusing. It is not clear when I can pick up stuff with spacebar. The little guys don't seem to "harvest" the nearest resource point which makes it a bit confusing to decide where to place buildings. |
| Oct 5 21:55:48 | 13m 51s | 10 Seconds Spell Book | ♥ 3 | Really like the concept and how the theme is used. For me it would feel better if deleting spells would be free. It feels bad not be able to use a new spell, because the bar is full. Couldn't continue playing after a while because the game hang on the "delete spell" screen. |
| Oct 9 03:37:33 | 77h 41m | Empire Under the Clock | ♥ 0 | I always like to see strategy games in Ludum Dare. You executed well! The game is fun to play and invokes that "just one more turn" feeling. Played it until I conquered about half the world. I did not really understand when I can build armies or buildings. I assume they have a resource cost, but which resource? In the end I seemed to have almost every resource but still could not always build something. It might also help to display some information when clicking on a region. The pause bar is a nice feature, but I also felt a bit like cheating and playing against the theme when using it. |
| Oct 9 04:14:25 | 36m 52s | Flocker | ♥ 1 | Love it! With ambient sound this would be perfect |
| Oct 9 04:35:28 | 21m 03s | Battle of Nephthys | ♥ 1 | This looks quite nice but I can't play longer than a minute or so. Then the game mysteriously pauses.. I can still build buildings but the units don't move any longer. |
| Oct 9 04:49:40 | 14m 12s | Countdown Crusaders | ♥ 1 | I like this quite a lot. Picking cards and shooting monsters complement each other well. Would really love if there wouldn't be a horde of monsters right at the beginning. It is also a bit confusing that both player and monsters can leave the screen. Sometimes you get shot from outside. |
| Oct 9 04:51:42 | 2m 02s | It's a Sliding Puzzle | ♥ 1 | This looks promising but I have no idea how to use a Gameboy emulator. Some instructions might be helpful. |
| Oct 9 05:17:40 | 25m 58s | Space Buggers | ♥ 1 | Maybe the game I played the longest for LD51. I couldn't figure out though why the grey tower is so expensive. The blue ones seem to do all the work. |
| Oct 9 05:48:34 | 30m 54s | Tensec World | ♥ 1 | This must be my favorite game for LD51! Great implementation of theme and you created a well rounded fun little game. I love the intro and the portrait you drew - it really sets the mood. I also love how the nice little Tensec (took me a bit over ten seconds to get the pun :D) are transformed into a capitalistic society where everyone's lifetime is exploited to the maximum to build me a golden statue. Somewhere this needs a "drink beer" animation. |
| Oct 9 05:58:07 | 9m 33s | Shaking Robots Revenge | ♥ 1 | Great little entry and switching weapons every ten seconds is a nice idea. Both weapons and monsters would be even better with some power ups / variations. |
| Oct 9 06:32:26 | 34m 19s | The End Position | ♥ 1 | One of my favorite games! After some try and error made it to the end position. |
