| Apr 27 15:56:32 | HyperJack | ♥ 2 | This one took me a bit to figure out. I love it, a simple premise but the precise movements to pull it off felt so good. Once I figured out that I shouldn't just be drilling to the bottom it got a bit easier, mostly trying to focus on whatever block was highest was the way to go. I couldn't keep up with how fast the levels start ramping up and so here's my best score: Capture.PNG I'm always surprised at how much you get done solo in just 2 days and how good the game feels to play. The sound effects and art very reminiscent of old Gameboy games. The initial starting game tutorial by getting you to figure it out is fantastic. I'm a big fan of physics based mechanics and I think you got it down here perfectly. How the jackhammer always tries to bounce towards you and not just bounce randomly really lets you master it eventually. As always, another great entry. Can't wait for the next :) | |
| Apr 27 16:10:11 | 13m 39s | Abyssonaut | ♥ 1 | This was awesome. Had a great time playing with my controller too. The art was fantastic, the music and sounds really added to the atmosphere and the game mechanics felt really good to play. Using weight as a mechanic to help to descend and it becoming a problem on your way back out was a real solid idea. Exploring side rooms was fun, and tossing the anchor onto enemies was a good time. I had a bit of trouble trying to make sure I didn't accidentally pick up my gems on the way out while tossing rocks off, but other than that I had no real issues with the game. I'm gonna be showing this one around for sure. Great job! |
| Apr 27 16:19:21 | 9m 10s | DeepHouse | ♥ 1 | I had a bit of a hard time reading some of the text, I did like the style of the font I just have to squint hard sometimes. I managed to figure out how to get out of the first room but couldn't figure out how to get further than that. I liked the art and music though. It set the tone of the game pretty well. I'm just no good at puzzle games. I'm guessing other people will be able to figure it out though. Good job! |
| Apr 27 16:30:33 | 11m 12s | We Have to Go Deeper! | ♥ 3 | Game felt real solid to play. Once I saw there was a leaderboard I was in full reckless mode. Still only managed to hit 150 seconds haha. Movement felt nice and hitting those jetstreams was fun. I think you guys nailed the balancing on your health since I made it to the end with like 1 hit remaining and I was going pretty fast. The dialogue was pretty funny, although it was a bit difficult to read it since I was focusing on going fast ;D. That's just me though. I can see this game being a pretty chill experience if you're taking it slow. Good job! |
| Apr 27 23:42:43 | 7h 12m | Physician, Heal Thy Elf | ♥ 1 | Great game! Art was pretty nice. I thought the game over screen was pretty funny, was not expecting that at all. Good job! |
| Apr 28 00:13:30 | 30m 47s | Penguin Run | ♥ 0 | Tough game! But fun. Good job! |
| Apr 29 01:57:55 | 25h 44m | Solar Subs | ♥ 1 | Managed to get to 56 total. Very solid take on the theme and mechanics to match. Once it was too dark to see everything at once it very much felt like I was getting deeper. Nice ambient soundtrack as well. Good job! |
| Apr 29 02:14:31 | 16m 36s | Deeper Sleep Beta | ♥ 1 | I loved the take on the theme and the unsettling CRT effects alongside the sounds. The political commentary in it was spot on too. Only I can't say I agree with it now that I'm an Amazonbar lizard robot now ;D. Pretty cool game, good job! |
| Apr 30 00:37:43 | 22h 23m | Riches Below! | ♥ 1 | Game looks good. It was a bit confusing to play. I'm not sure when I should be going deeper so I just kind of did it as soon as I could. Definitely would be even better with some sound effects. But I know the struggle! :p. Good job! |
| May 1 23:24:55 | 46h 47m | Where's my dynoMITE? [LD48] | ♥ 2 | Was a pretty fun game to play. The sound effects were fantastic and it was mechanically interesting as well. Good job guys |
| May 1 23:44:43 | 19m 48s | Aquarial | ♥ 1 | This game is perfect. |
| May 1 23:53:46 | 9m 03s | GOBLIN HAMBURGER LASER ARENA | ♥ 1 | Cool take on the theme. I ended up achieving my hamburger heaven ending. |
| May 2 00:24:54 | 31m 08s | Just Photo Cat | ♥ 2 | fun idea! liked taking pictures of random stuff. |
| May 2 00:44:40 | 19m 46s | DNO | ♥ 1 | Had a fun time. Wish I knew that I got to the end for real. Got the mug ending. |
| May 2 01:28:24 | 43m 44s | One-Butt Alien Corridor | ♥ 1 | Pretty fun game. I liked being able to pick different upgrades after each floor. Got pretty hard after the first few levels but I can definitely see build diversity with this game. Would be cool if there were even more choices like turn speed or increased aim angles, etc. Good job |
| May 2 03:08:32 | 1h 40m | 6 Feet Under | ♥ 3 | Really solid game. Played it all the way through even though some parts held me back quite a while :p. It was a very kinetic feeling game if that makes any sense. It was satisfying to pull off the perfect jumps and keeping your momentum throughout was awesome. Great job! |
| May 14 23:53:21 | 308h 44m | RAMnesia | ♥ 1 | Tough game! I didn't realize I could use the mouse until after I was done and re-read the entry. I definitely suggest putting controls in the game, like a quick tutorial level. It definitely helps from what we've found in the past! Other than that it was a very interesting concept. Took me quite some time to get the timing right on some of the puzzles. I was able to eventually jump out of bounds I think and it wouldn't reset me after that haha. I enjoyed it for sure. Good job! |
| May 15 00:36:09 | 42m 48s | Deepest Dwarf Dungeon | ♥ 1 | Tried the bard the first and oh man was it hard. I didn't realize that was basically hard mode haha. Played as the warrior next and it went a lot smoother. Was fun, Good job! |
