| Oct 15 03:05:36 | I Wait For Your Word | ♥ 1 | Very creative idea. And very well executed. I guess if you are not very familiar with the subject is quite hard to guess the words. | |
| Oct 15 03:17:58 | 12m 22s | Working Title | ♥ 2 | I love the creative idea. That transition from just a dot to a full on 2d game is just amazing. The music is great as well, I love how it builds as you go. However, you're hurt by your controls, is very frustrating to move the character, the jumps are very weird and the wall jumps are just too hard. So it becomes quite difficult very fast. However, it was a great entry for the jam. Good job!!! |
| Oct 15 03:28:54 | 10m 56s | MeebÜ WeebÜ | ♥ 1 | Very good looking game, the art style is fantastic. I love the touch that if you don't move for a while it shows you the map. However, I think you should have made it a bit more clear how to do stuff, it hurts the game. I couldn't find the shovel haha. I think that's my own fault. However, great entry for the jam. |
| Oct 15 03:35:53 | 6m 59s | Deadrun II | ♥ 1 | Very moody game, the graphics are primitive but they work fine. And that enemy sprite is quite creepy honestly. I think after the first two enemies you learn to just spam the click and kill them quite easily. Also, it's not a very innovative idea for the theme. However, making your games from your own engine is just amazing in my opinion, so I really admire you doing that. |
| Oct 15 03:49:26 | 13m 33s | typ0; | ♥ 1 | I really like this game. The idea is super cool, and it's one of the most innovative I have seen in the jam. My only complain is that the jump felt weird at times, sometimes it didn't quite got my input. Very nice touch the customization you can do to the theme and the font, it's quite nice and the highscore it's great, it makes it competitive. So far my favorite of the jam. Great job!!! |
| Oct 15 04:02:35 | 13m 09s | Genesis | ♥ 1 | So the game sounded super interesting, however I couldn't quite understood the graphic interface. I think your entry is gonna be hurt for being quite complex in nature, you don't quite know what to do and how to do it. However, the procedural genrated terrain is great. I found myself opening and closing the game just to see all the types of islands I got. |
| Oct 15 04:07:38 | 5m 03s | nothingEVERYTHING | ♥ 1 | Love the simple yet effective dynamic soundtrack, and the experience is quite pleasing. A very simple idea but very well excuted, good job!!! |
| Oct 15 17:19:36 | 13h 11m | Saga of Bupkis | ♥ 0 | It's quite tricky to understand how to play, the UI is not very clear. The graphics are simple but quite lovely. |
| Oct 15 17:26:23 | 6m 47s | David & Goliaths | ♥ 1 | So very interesting idea, the weapon is certainly not very conventional. My main issue is that the rock gets thrown in very weird directions. It doesn't follow physics or the mouse direction, so I couldn't predict where was it gonna go. The game looks alright, even though a more third person perspective would have look better since the models were so nice. The mood of the game is certainly kinda creepy, fitting for a cave. |
| Oct 15 18:11:22 | 44m 59s | Refilltris | ♥ 1 | The concept is cool, I can see how it can become a very addictive game, if I knew the rules. It's not very clear what's happening and why do you refill stuff. I think the first levels were meant to teach the player the mechanics, but in my case I didn't quite got it. It's a great concept anyway |
| Oct 15 18:44:44 | 33m 22s | CosmiCraft 🌟 | ♥ 3 | What a great game you guys made. Is so fun to play, I couldn't win but I did try several times, so that means I was enjoying it quite a lot. I do have some comments on what could have been better. If you lose the first Gun Tower you're screw, because you cannot defeat enemies to get another one. Also, playing without a booster is quite slow, frustratingly slow. My other copmplain would be that the music changes quite abruptly, a nice fade transition would have help. But I have more things that I love about the game. I love how if you have a bigger ship it becomes more difficult even when you have more abilities. Also, it took me a while to realized that you can attach things not only on the back of the previous block but on the sides. Imagine my super long thin spaceship. But I do love that you can organize your spaceship however you want. Overall, an amazing entry for the jam. great job!!! (P.S. Thank you for an amazingly in depth feedback on my game @random-storykeeper) |
| Oct 15 20:00:28 | 1h 15m | Gun Fury | ♥ 1 | Very fun game, once you get the controls you can move around the bullets very easily. I would have like if the difficulty increases more, it can turn into a very difficult bullet hell. It wasn't the most innovative use of the theme, but it works. And the game is really fun to play, so that is what matters. Great job!!! |
| Oct 16 18:22:55 | 22h 22m | Naked Guy | ♥ 1 | So it's official, your game wins the prize for * Most Oblivious NPCs *, very narrow field of view, you can jump over them with your junk in the air but they won't bat an eye. haha It was a very fun game to play honestly, and the art style is lovely. For future jams, make sure that if a sound is gonna be played a lot, like the jump sound, it needs to be really subtle, otherwise it's gonna get annoying very quick. That's my only complain about it honestly. Great job!! |
| Oct 16 18:31:00 | 8m 05s | Becoming Something | ♥ 0 | Really cool game. I'm weird out because my entry have a very similar way to interpret the theme and also I use a mechanic that reveals the map so you can navigate a maze. So there's that. I guess great minds think a like haha I think some music would have help, and the graphics were simple but they work. Great job overall!!! |
| Oct 16 18:37:41 | 6m 41s | 9 Rooms Many Buttons | ♥ 0 | A cool idea, but some problems made it really difficult to get through it. The camera needed more work, you need to limit the x axis rotation otherwise you end up with an upside camera if you scroll down, it could also have been a bit less sensitive in my opinion. The music was only like 4 seconds long, so you get tired of it quite fast. But in any case, good job! |
| Oct 16 18:55:13 | 17m 32s | Bootstraps | ♥ 0 | Such an interesting way to use the theme, very ground in reality. The game looks quite simple, but it works for this kind of game, and it's very interesting to see the way you budget your time affects you. It would have been good if you made the status more prominent, probably in the main screen, because at the end of the day is what you are trying to maximize. Overall, a great entry. Great job! |
| Oct 18 00:35:44 | 29h 40m | Bathtub Admirals | ♥ 1 | Very awesome game, very polished in almost all aspects. The humour is by far the best I have seen in the jam, and the instructions are very well made. The graphics are quite good as well, lovely water animation and background models, and the weapons themselvess are pretty cool how they adjust to the boats and weighs it down. My only negatives with the game is the audio, since it had no music and when there were a lot of fire noises it kinda saturated the audio and clipped in an unpleasent way. Also, I think it's a bit of a stretch for the theme, just because the first boat is called nothing you get a pass. But overall its one of the best games I have seen in the jam. Incredible job!!! |
| Oct 18 00:44:31 | 8m 47s | Leaping Louie | ♥ 0 | I want you to win just because of that amazing voice over. It makes the game so much more fun to play. The graphics are very well chosen for the game and it's a very creative use of the theme. Overall it's an amazing entry for the jam. |
| Oct 18 00:54:44 | 10m 13s | Galaman | ♥ 1 | That intro animation was gorgeous, the art style is by far my favorite part of the game. The gameplay itself is quite simple but that's okay for a game jam. I think some clearer instructions on how to move, what stars are good to eat and which ones aren't would have been helpful. Overall fantastic job!!! |
| Oct 18 01:01:50 | 7m 06s | Nothing left for Jim! | ♥ 1 | Such an addictive game, it's so much fun to play. I thought it was gonna be a simple runner, but the placing items is quite different and it adds a layer of difficulty. I even would have like more levels with more items you have to place. The audio gets a bit repeptitive, but that's about all the bad things I can say about it. You made a ver fun game, great job!!! |
| Oct 18 01:30:52 | 29m 02s | ...and to Nothingness Return | ♥ 1 | Level 7 throw me for a loop man, after that I was quite good at it. I enjoyed the ambient noise, make me feel right in the void. Very simple mechanic but very well thought out puzzles. I spend quite more time than the normal for a Ludum Dare entry. Overall amazing job!!! |
| Oct 18 01:51:37 | 20m 45s | Bruno's Mind Control Project | ♥ 1 | This is probably one of the best looking games I have seen in all of the Ludum Dares. The transition between cameras, the aesthethic going from grey shades to the colorful people. The music was great as well. It was quite difficult, I couldn't won over Martina. But it was fun to try. My only gripe with it it's that the theme is not that present, and well that's a major part of the jam. |
| Oct 18 02:05:58 | 14m 21s | DREAMS | ♥ 2 | Such a cool profound experience, the graphics were really good looking, love how expressive you guys could get with rather simple shapes. The audio enhance the experience quite a lot. ven though it's more of an experience than a game, it's still incredibly well made and you guys did an amazing job. |
| Oct 18 02:18:28 | 12m 30s | Find the Controls | ♥ 1 | Would you please think of the people with epilepsy! That background causes a lot of motion sickness, that's the only problem with the game. Besides that, it's such a good game, the premise is quite creative. I like how the movement and action contraints add to how you play the game. I was quite surprised with the music, you're either making it randomly or you're into very progressive jazz chords, in any case, it's a cool choice. I enjoy the use of the theme, I enjoy the gameplay a lot. The graphics are the only part that could have been done better. but great job!!! |
| Oct 18 02:24:55 | 6m 27s | Over and over | ♥ 1 | I think you did a great job on the movement, the character feels great to move around and the dash is very well implemented. I know how hard that is to get right. However, the theme of the jam wasn't present and the music is pretty repetitive, so you get tired of it quite fast. But those are my only complaints. Overall, great job!!! |
| Oct 29 12:14:33 | 273h 49m | Nothing Ground Down Nothing | ♥ 0 | Very interesting mechanic, I ernjoyed having to think about what words to choose. The laberynths themselves weren't that challenging but it added a little bit. I think it would have been great to add some atmospheric music to the game. But good job nonetheless. |
| Oct 29 12:23:43 | 9m 10s | Defend the House | ♥ 0 | I think I've never played a first person tower defense before. It was quite interesting. I liked the models and the robots looked cool. Some music and sound effects would have been great, because it's quite silent. Also, the catapults don't do much haha. Great job overall |
| Oct 29 12:33:50 | 10m 07s | Eidos | ♥ 0 | So first of all, the graphics are amazing, so mesmerizing to watch. And the music goes super well with it. But the gameplay it's quite buggy. As someone mention, if you play at the fastest setting, it's impossible to catch stuff and then the slider part is not very clear. You di a great job anyway |
| Oct 29 12:53:23 | 19m 33s | Summoning Soup | ♥ 1 | Probably the best 3d models and visuals of any game I've played on this Ludum Dare, the main character is just super cute and the bosses are well design. The music, voice over and audio effects were perfect as well, they fit together great. I only have to complains: The shooting pointer was a little weird when something was in the way, because you weren't pointing at the ground, but at the projection of the object in the foreground, so it's quite confusing. And my other complain, which is the biggest one, I don't think it really fits the theme that well. You start with nothing but like 10 seconds later you get the magic tome, so did you really started with nothing? However, amazing game. |
