| Oct 8 17:50:21 | Appeasing the Quadopus | ♥ 0 | The game give me some Cuphead vibes which was fun. The voice acting was a little hard to hear during the narrative, but a welcomed addition since not many people tend not to add it. | |
| Oct 8 18:26:04 | 35m 43s | Emoji | ♥ 1 | I love the style and soundtrack choice for this game. It gives it an extremely relaxing/zen vibe. I would have liked the ability to zoom out once I had made a massive garden since the map was a static 20x20, but other then that I had no complaints. |
| Oct 9 13:39:19 | 19h 13m | Stuff from click | ♥ 1 | Thanks for rating our game. At first, I wasn't sure if the game loaded since it starts as a white screen that you have to click on. The game has an interesting premise, though I didn't get very far since I ended up spawning carnivores that would wipe everything out. As others have stated the game is extremely abstract, but I think it's intuitive enough to progress. The only thing I would recommend is maybe standardizing on the animals and randomly generating them differently as I wouldn't have known what they were if I didn't read the comments first. |
| Oct 9 13:55:51 | 16m 32s | Soulless | ♥ 1 | Thanks for rating our game! I played through the whole thing and enjoyed the variety of power-ups you had incorporated. The rocket jump brought back some fond memories of Doom and Quake. As others have mentioned the controls weren't fluid in some areas, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 72-hour jam. Great job! |
| Oct 9 14:05:04 | 9m 13s | Temptris | ♥ 2 | Thanks for rating our game! I really enjoyed the concept and think it would be cool if you expanded upon it outside of the Jam. I was so focused on the dungeon building portion I didn't even consider I would actually have to traverse the map. |
| Oct 9 14:59:44 | 54m 40s | Vegan Farmer | ♥ 3 | Thanks for rating our game! To start, I loved the art, animation, and music. Everything fit together really nicely. The game itself was fun, and just when I thought I was finished you threw another set of combinations at me. What a rollercoaster. In the end I would have been interested in seeing how many cows went in to making that avacado salad. Great job, and thanks for the educational guide on where Avacodos come from. |
| Oct 9 15:18:17 | 18m 33s | Faze | ♥ 5 | I really enjoyed the style and concept of this game. The world generation was really well done. |
| Oct 9 16:02:21 | 44m 04s | MerchantQuest | ♥ 1 | While I really enjoyed this game the core mechanics could use a little balancing/refinement. Once I found out that you could buy an item and then sell it back to the same person for +2gold it kind of ruined the game for me. I ended up being able to beat the game through this method without utilizing any skills (outside of the initial pickpocket for the first item). I was hoping for each vendor to have specific buying/selling characteristics (randomly generated at the start, but static as you played) and for the game to rely a little more on the bartering system. Also, I also think I found a bug where if you had more than one instance of an item in your inventory and sold it all instances would be removed but you would only get the gold for a single item. All in all, great game for the 72 hour Jam! |
| Oct 9 19:37:38 | 3h 35m | Revolutionaries and Pixels | ♥ 1 | The game is really well done and I appreciate the consistent art style. @james-vagabond covered the majority of my thoughts on where the game was lacking. I would be interested in playing a full release of this game if you happened to have a fleshed out storyline in mind. |
| Oct 9 21:10:29 | 1h 32m | You are Nothing | ♥ 3 | Thanks for rating our game! It's amazing what you were able to accomplish with only ascii art, the wands are probably my favorite part. Looking at the picture I was expecting some low quality game, but was plesently surprised. The music was spot on as well. |
| Oct 9 21:31:50 | 21m 21s | Witchcraft: the Collecting | ♥ 2 | Thanks for rating our game. Great job on the art and animation. The game looks really well polished considering the time constraints. However, I wasn't hooked on the gameplay. The collection aspect was a neat idea, but I would have liked some idle game mechanics to go along with the clicker mechanics. |
| Oct 10 03:29:03 | 5h 57m | Tiny Reactor | ♥ 1 | I played this game way longer than I intended and still didn't manage to get past 54 points. Super fun puzzle game! |
