Apr 30 14:43:14 Malroot Gentleman ♥ 1 I enjoyed the concept of the game where you have to wait / survive to get upgrades; I guess you could add better graphics / enemies and also put up some background music to make it better. Also I can't seem to find the player's healthbar. I have one suggestion on input: make shooting space or leftclick so that people that are more used with playing with WASD can also shoot easily
Apr 30 14:50:46 7m 32s Greedy HP ♥ 1 You should update the page since the "Windows Download Link" is actually a HTML 5 page link
Apr 30 14:54:11 3m 25s Budget Hero Corp ♥ 0 Loved the concept of dying over and over to upgrade the character! I think it's personaly really original and that it has a lot of potential. Didn't like graphics and music (you should probably make it loop throughout the game because it went silent after a minute or so) Also I suggest making the player also jump with W
Apr 30 17:50:25 2h 56m Stabman! ♥ 2 I'd like to see this game further developed and how it will turn out if it becomes an actual game. I do suggest not sharing the game via google drive but instead using different methods (such as itch.io) I enjoyed the music. I am on linux and nothing happens when you press E
Apr 30 17:57:19 6m 54s SENTINEL ♥ 1 This must really be one of the best games I have seen in this jam so far (even if I didn't look up that many games) I absolutely loved the graphics and the music and, mostly, the gameplay. I suggest you continuing this project and making it into an actual game, because I'd definitely play it. Also try making versions for Mac and Linux too (even if I found out you can play the game on Linux with Wine, that's how I played it). Also you should make it more clear that you lose health when you shoot... I ended up dying just because I loved firing at everything I saw. I can now see the heart getting more and more transparent but maybe with a degree of red or a bar indicating when you'll lose your next life it'll be more clear... that's just a suggestion though! Awesome game, congrats.
Apr 30 18:04:38 7m 19s Transaction Packed ♥ 0 The hotbar reminds me of Minecraft 🍭 Really love how the game looks and feels. If it had background music it'd be perfect. The menu buttons are empty, is that intended? Also it took me a long time to figure out that I had to press ESC to see the shop. I started slowly losing any ability to do anything. It was a painful death. Would 100% love this game turn into an actual game fully developed game. I'd buy it!
Apr 30 18:09:41 5m 03s Spare Life ♥ 1 Why don't you include the linux download link into itch.io for simplicity? Google drive is not the best way to share binaries.
Apr 30 18:32:48 23m 07s Make Money ♥ 0 Awesome game. Didn't expect to go in it and get a family at the end but alright lol Honestly though, I am a huge fan of simplistic games and this is so perfect, just what I love! Some notes: the "more games" button doesn't seem to work to me (tested on WebGL). Also it'd be fun if, when you get fired, you get to see the calendar of all of the years and remember the best moments... I see it gets made while the game is played, so it shouldn't be that hard to store it 'till the end!
May 1 07:10:29 12h 37m Shibbal the Pig ♥ 0 Loved the game graphics and sound effects. The concept also seems pretty cool. I have two suggestions: Maybe make it so you can also move with WASD and attack with z Don't make the player lose the game instantly when they touch a spike or fall down (I never died by losing all my coins, I have always ended my runs with touching spikes). Maybe make the player lose 50+ coins but killing them fully gets annoying and kind of defeats the entire purpose of the money currency-HP.
May 1 07:23:39 13m 10s Life'$ A Coin ♥ 0 Wish I could play this game. I am on Linux and tried emulating it with Wine. The main menu works but when I click on play, the screen is full black I only see "coins: 12" in the top right of the screen. I hope you someday consider building also for Linux since it's a Unity project :)
May 1 07:32:06 8m 27s Hearts for Coins ♥ 1 This is a really interesting concept; I love two characters games. I have some suggestions: - Maybe make it so one character is controlled with WASD, the other with the arrow keys, so you can control them both at the same time. - The lose sound scared my soul out of me. Lower that down haha - The coin's life bar is at the center of my screen instead of the right side. You probably did the bars with the "Unity Canvas", so probably you just forgot to set the coin's bar pivot to the top left side in the rect transform. Should be an easy fix. - There is some walljump glitchness in the game. Perhaps consider creating a "Physics Material 2D" in Unity and setting its friction and bounciness to 0 and then attaching that onto the 2 characters in the Unity inspector; that might fix your problem. Pretty sweet game overall, keep developing it, I'd love to play a full version of it with more features 👍
May 1 09:27:47 1h 55m MONGR ♥ 2 I loved how polished the game was. Would like to see a full version of it!
May 1 09:48:55 21m 08s Cowry ♥ 2 This must have been one of the funniest games I have ever played. Made me prove feelings for a cow -_- Only suggestion is to add a background music! I loved the sound effects and the way the game was developed, awesome work :D
May 1 09:58:40 9m 45s Time Jumper ♥ 0 I Have no idea how to get over the first wall
May 1 10:01:28 2m 48s Grace and Mercy Eternal ♥ 0 Hey, I am about to test your game. Before doing that though, I already suggest you to consider using a different way of storing binary files. itch.io is a great website to show-off your games and could get you more plays.
May 1 10:14:30 13m 02s Slime, life, time, money. ♥ 1 I am sorry but I don't think this game fits the requested theme; also it seems quickly made. IT's ok if this is your first game, you will get better; I suggest you rating other games next time so your game gets more attention and also using more powerful game-making tools such as Unity or GameMaker or Unreal
May 1 10:23:14 8m 44s bitlive ♥ 3 I liked the game, the graphics and the music. Apart for some wall glitchness and sometimes enemies spawned on top of you, it was cool I'd suggest adding a shop system to buy better weapons. Also I wish there was a reason to actually slay enemies. Right now you don't get much by doing so. In my first run I lost at the last level, in my second one I avoided all enemies and won with 70 coins to spare. This game would be really interesting to speedrun. Add more levels because I'd love to play more of this.
May 4 14:15:22 75h 52m Ludum Dare 44 (Twin Stick Shooter) ♥ 0 Cool game, I liked the graphics. Maybe it could be better with a background and some music.
