Dec 3 05:45:28 Temple of the Blood God ♥ 1 game looks and sounds good, but controlling is a little difficult, particularly since the player gets stuck on walls and will randomly die when jumping into a ceiling. also, the cursor disappears when you press escape and can't actually use the menu when paused. it is a fairly interesting concept though.
Dec 3 05:58:13 12m 45s Quest for the West ♥ 1 interesting concept. felt like my choices didn't matter too much since i had so many resources of everything, but the game was very aesthetically pleasing and i enjoyed the soundtrack. i also had some issues with random artifacting/screen tearing when moving.
Dec 3 06:37:11 38m 58s Sacrifices Must Be Made ♥ 3 this is honestly one of the most impressive looking ludum dare games i've seen. extremely good atmostphere and very well done with the theme. it's very smooth and looks very finished. like secretmapper said though, there is the warren bug where it gives you rabbits just by selecting him. otherwise, the game felt very complete.
Dec 3 17:19:37 10h 42m This is fine ♥ 2 it's a cute and basic game. some things i will say though: -the "it's a feature, not a bug" thing is a little unprofessional, and adding things like bounds so that the player can't escape are fairly small but go a long way -there are quite a few typos at the end, would be worth looking at -timer is a little bit small ultimately, it makes sense a lot of stuff didn't make the cut (because that's the nature of ludum dare), but there are some things that are fairly important. that being said, i actually really liked the "bad" art style, mainly because it was cohesive and kinda fun.
Dec 3 17:22:10 2m 33s The nightmare ♥ 0 you can opt out towards the bottom of the "edit game" page
Dec 3 23:37:33 6h 15m Slice ♥ 0 game didn't have much but what it did have felt fairly complete. not really sure how it plays into the theme that much. also, this isn't as big of a deal, but i think the crosshair in non-symmetrical, which was slightly annoying (but really did not matter, more of an OCD thing)
Dec 3 23:47:17 9m 44s Memento Morty ♥ 2 pretty sweet concept and well executed. enjoyed the game and felt adequately challenged. just so you know, there is sometimes a glitch where your first reincarnation immediately dies. also, there were a few typos in the intro. otherwise, fun game and solid use of the theme.
Dec 8 00:21:21 96h 34m Nihilistic Nurture Navigation ♥ 1 the idea is there, but like you said, it's unfinished. would be interesting to see a finished product
Dec 8 00:36:53 15m 32s Strain of the Gods ♥ 0 game has a lot of potential but seemed to be bogged down a bit by the vast scope of the game. there are a few bugs i got on my first playthrough: -main menu doesn't work after you die -torrential downpour seems to just kill all my people no matter what. maybe i did something wrong? but from what i understood all but one were in the houses -when pressing ctrl + arrow key to select a villager, it only worked if you held ctrl. letting go stopped the camera where it was until you held ctrl again some other things that i think would be helpful: -more detailed minimap, i.e. show a box of what the player can see (minimap was much bigger) -faster scrolling -more responsive moving (sometimes villagers wait a few moments before moving) overall the game was very pretty and kinda eerie, which i liked, but the constraints of ludum dare make more complex games more difficult to create. good stuff though.
