| Dec 5 01:32:14 | Night of the BloodMoon | ♥ 1 | I died against the boss twice, not sure how close I was to beating him, but it was fun. The aspect of killing/sacrificing people to gain magic (?) is a pretty neat idea, and it does fit the theme. I like how the player has a hood too. Good work~ | |
| Dec 5 01:46:14 | 14m 00s | Pirates may Cry | ♥ 1 | The game crashed on me by the end, so I couldn't tell if there was a scoring system. If the number of choices you made counts for the score, I think I did alright~ It's the kind of game that plays itself and you make choices at times, which isn't bad, but I do wish there was more to do between each prompt. I lasted long enough until the song stopped playing. The art was cute, and some of the choices added humour. Good work~ |
| Dec 5 02:03:50 | 17m 36s | BloodTrail | ♥ 1 | The visuals are pretty neat! It bugged on my end where I could click the "attack" button outside of battle. I kind of wish I could've seen how it would've turn out if you guys hare more time. Good job nonetheless! |
| Dec 5 02:17:51 | 14m 01s | Suicide Rabbits | ♥ 1 | Neat game! It had a little too much trial and error for my taste, but the cute art and the good peaceful music made it easier to bear through. I love the detail of seeing your fellow bunnies before you control them, and it really fits the theme how their sacrifices helps show which area to avoid. Great work for your first LD! |
| Dec 5 02:38:04 | 20m 13s | Fire and Atlas | ♥ 1 | I really love how moving around makes you just plop there. The game is fun~ Though it does get somewhat long backtracking often to re-check some of the areas. I would've love having a timer to make it challenge, but the fact there's none also makes it a relaxing game, which I enjoyed. The art is for sure my favourite aspect, and the gameplay is very innovative. It has a potential to be greater if more gameplay mechanics were added. |
| Dec 5 03:27:20 | 49m 16s | Elemental Storm | ♥ 0 | Fun game! My favourite aspect is the blend between the 2D and 3D art, and how you had to avoid the latter only. Great job for a compo! Neat audio detail too, how it gets quieter in the end. |
| Dec 5 03:42:38 | 15m 18s | Ho Ho Hold Up | ♥ 0 | Haha, that was dark. The gameplay may have been repetitive, but the mood and theme is definitely 4.5 or 5/5 from me. I feel like I became more of an evil person from all the loss of these poor elves. |
| Dec 5 04:10:59 | 28m 21s | [ 66 DOWN ] | ♥ 3 | Very interesting game! I rated it despite not playing it because I'm not a streamer, but I did for the fact I participated as one of the sacrifices. Super original for a LD game! |
| Dec 5 04:22:43 | 11m 44s | Altar | ♥ 1 | Neat game~ It took me a while to realize I could pick more than one spider at a time. The sprites are very well drawn too! I couldn't finish it from not being able to find the last altar, kind of wish there directions could be shown, but the combat was interesting~ |
| Dec 5 06:06:19 | 1h 43m | Jesus Take the Wheel | ♥ 1 | Love the concept and humour, haha. The gameplay's fun too! |
| Dec 5 07:38:23 | 1h 32m | Gnome Man's Sky | ♥ 0 | Great game! Much better than your last LD entry. It's the only Jam so far that I've spent almost an hour playing, which says something~ Somehow I got stuck where I couldn't get shrooms anymore. It makes me wonder if that's intentional. |
| Dec 6 00:55:15 | 17h 16m | A Heightened Plight | ♥ 1 | This is really fun, and fits the theme perfectly! I tried it three times, and the highest I had was saving 60% of my family. It succeeds in adding stress, and I love how each playthrough is random--it's good replay value. The humour is good too, how family members can die of hunger or thirst as they fall. |
| Dec 6 01:19:16 | 24m 01s | Assault on The Sacrificial Humans | ♥ 0 | I won it~ Fun game. It's kind of easy when you know that the path the enemies take is simple, but I did lose the first playthrough. It really helped how I could sell my old turrets at full price. I also thought I'd run out of humans before the game ended, but it makes that it couldn't happen. |
| Dec 6 01:38:11 | 18m 55s | Battery Blitz | ♥ 1 | Love how simple it is. It took me a while to understand why I needed the blue ones--they helped slow down the game. I had 724 points on my second try~ |
| Dec 6 03:37:39 | 1h 59m | Cultist Crusade | ♥ 1 | Fun little game, I think it just needed a quit button and in-game help on how to control the minions~ It really showed how it felt being overpowered, and that breeze was refreshing. I love the concept of controlling an army that spawns fast, and the theme fits perfectly. |
| Dec 6 04:01:02 | 23m 23s | Ludum Dare: The Game | ♥ 0 | Awesome game, and it's very accurate. Not only did I have to make a game about sacrifices, but I sacrificed spending time with relatives and other life events to enjoy this game making challenge. From this, I think I learned not to ignore taking breaks from jams~ |
| Dec 6 05:18:18 | 1h 17m | Roustabout | ♥ 2 | I got the end~ I had fun. It felt like I was playing Tetris, and there were times I felt I wasn't going to be able to move all those pianos on time on the second level, so that much added to the challenge. It makes me wonder if the rats infest at random or always the same item in the level. I didn't have to skip/sacrifice any object at least, otherwise I'd rate it higher on the theme. But good game! |
| Dec 6 05:56:08 | 37m 50s | Documentia | ♥ 3 | This game is amazing! I always love the concept of interacting with files outside the game to change outcomes. I had one of the endings (Deleting everyone but me, I assume it's the most basic ending?), and it's one of those games I'd definitely come back to try to find another. If there's any improvement I wish for, is for a faster walking speed. Aside from that, it's one of the best entries I've seen for this LD. |
| Dec 6 07:47:05 | 1h 50m | Lava Luva | ♥ 0 | Fun game! I love the concept. It was easier than I thought, and it's one game I hope to see enhanced upon~ |
| Dec 6 08:03:20 | 16m 15s | Santa on Skis | ♥ 1 | Fun game! It fits the sacrifice theme perfectly with how there's no way you can do a run without hitting at least one obstacle My highest score is 2218. Score.png Is that amount of doors for one building lucky? |
| Dec 8 01:25:46 | 41h 22m | Oblatio | ♥ 0 | It was somewhat on the repetitive side and the feeding animation took time, but it's quite the relaxing game. It took me until just before the end to realize the animals were exploding in death. The environmental art looked nice, and the sheep were huge in a good way~ |
| Dec 8 02:34:42 | 1h 08m | Zoe and the Polypantheon | ♥ 1 | Very fun game! I spent well over an hour figuring things out. I was absorbed by a candy, and then saved by Baldr. I'm tempted to try and get that third ending I couldn't find yet~ One of my favourite aspect as a musician was the change in the mood in the song for each time a stone piece was found. Amazing detail! |
| Dec 8 03:04:47 | 30m 05s | Reap what you sow | ♥ 1 | Neat little game! It's difficult too, but maybe I just had bad luck or wasn't sacrificing to the gods: pirates stealing 12 crops, then later on vikings stealing around as much. I love the 3D sprites~ |
| Dec 8 03:21:15 | 16m 28s | Quest for the West | ♥ 1 | Fun game this time around~ I found it more immersive than your last entry. I love the variation and the luck involved. I didn't lose a lot of members in the end, except children, so I can't tell if I got lucky or if it's normal it's that easy. I loved how the pigs were the ones pulling the carts too, haha. 00649.png |
| Dec 9 01:07:59 | 21h 46m | Skeleton Key | ♥ 4 | It took me a while to figure out the parts I was sacrificing my arm or legs for were the levers, but then I knew what I had to do. I only got stuck once and had to restart after sacrificing my legs. From that, the game felt easy. I still like how unique of an experience it was~ The concept is interesting, the art was pretty and did set the mood right, and the theme fit perfectly. |
