Dec 3 20:15:54 Dark ♥ 0 Hi, I've just tested your game. I was a bit lost the first 2 or 3 tries. I thought I had to avoid the rotating blocks in the background. And then it doesn't look like there is a win or loose condition, so it's more an experience than a game. But I feel it's lacking in the graphics / audio for a good experience. You could have for example: - turned the environment red or blue based on the prince saved. - no music at first, then a music based on the prince saved (good rythm for the fire prince, chill for the blue prince) I hope I do not sound too harsh
Dec 3 20:27:32 11m 38s Spaceship ♥ 1 woo that's pretty good! Only 3 things I could complain about: - there is no music / sound ? - I would have preferred to have the camera rotating around the crew member - I find it a bit strange that the pieces are recovered once you get to them. I would have liked to have to bring them back to the ship. And the piece could have just been dropped where the crew member dies. Liked it though !
Dec 3 20:37:48 10m 16s Fuite / Escape ♥ 1 At first I thought there was a nasty bug cause the only interaction that I could have was to prevent the good guys from reaching the rocket. Then I re-read the Commands and I felt dumb. Nice one for a first LD !
Dec 3 20:59:43 21m 55s SacriMage ♥ 0 Good idea, and it's working pretty well; except I cannot restart once I die > if i press a key while playing second time on dungeon stage, game push me back to main screen _(It's nice to have an html5 version for testing too)_
Dec 3 21:11:57 12m 14s Dungeon of Friendship ♥ 2 Thought there was no difficulty at first and didn't feel like I sacrificed anything. Then I realized once I lost vision on one of the character. That I was screwed cause one of the other character could not move right anymore. Got tricked and liked it! Also liked the art style and how the "tutorial" has been integrated _(edit: also, nice to have provided an html5 version for testing)_
Dec 4 19:02:50 21h 50m Puddle Knights ♥ 1 Woo ! really cool mechanic and nice execution ! _(I would have liked to be able to move / rotate the camera, sometimes)_
Dec 5 19:59:46 24h 56m Alpha One Nails ♥ 2 Hmm sadly I could not control the ship properly via the keyboard (way too much sensitive) and the XBox controller was not working (except for the X button). Can't say much more than that (except that I really wanted to see more than the first few seconds)
Dec 5 20:13:07 13m 21s Let Me Eat You! ♥ 1 The controls were a pain: - I could not see who was the leader and therefore didn't know if the selection was working or not - I wish I could move the camera with the WSAD or arrow keys while moving the blobs with the left button - I didn't understand why the blobs stopped moving every once in a while (I guess it is because the leader dies, but I cannot see who is the leader, so ...) Lost really close to the finish line and thought it was intended. Apart from that, found the sounds to be pretty funny.
Dec 5 20:35:59 22m 52s ETA: Estimated Time Of Arrival ♥ 3 Mix of superhot, hot line miami, and some strategy on top of that with the clone / replay. Work on it more to polish it, and you have a really good game that would be worth some money. I didn't break the BossHouse but tried several times and really enjoyed it ! Good job guys.
Dec 5 21:02:46 26m 47s LD43 Journey ♥ 1 Played till 35% chance, then got stuck without energy, Ack! Simple controls, yet effective. Too much text at the beginning; didn't read it. Maybe the crew stats could have been displayed when selecting them in the ship. Anyway, great job; enjoyed playing it !
Dec 6 20:13:13 23h 10m Sacrificial Movements ♥ 1 omg this audio ! not that bad but stressful hehe Otherwise, things I would have change: - I, O, P keys for sacrifice should have been 1, 2 ,3 above WASD. - I did not understand the purpose of shooting (it didn't kill / destroy anything during my play) - Pressing "I" to sacrifice shooting and preventing em from moving was then too easy. A bit of a self story, cause it could be yours: I've started coding games at 13 years old; It allowed me to be way ahead of 90% of the other guys in my engineering school. I'm a Software Project Leader (38 years old). Keep practicing, try to learn new things regularly, and like @blobo said: > You’ve definitely got a head start by making your first game at 14 years old
Dec 9 09:48:58 61h 35m The Orion Trail ♥ 3 Biggest complain is that some choices are pretty much obvious and you do not feel like you have to make a trade off. Nice game though.
