Aug 13 12:34:17 Claustrophobic Typist ♥ 1 Cool beans. I like the fact that you have different difficulty levels. I got 15 on the insane level, I guess I ain't a good typist but still it was fun and I got some typing practice in. I wish I could rate sound as well because you did a good job with the music.
Aug 13 13:04:32 30m 15s The Sand Will Bury Me ♥ 3 This took me a few minutes to figure out. Once I figured out how to reach the next level I made good progress, but near the end it seemed I was going in a loop. It would be good to have a level or turn indicator to see where I'm at. Or maybe that's part of the puzzle too? Anyway I love the music and atmosphere of this game. Good job folks.
Aug 13 13:48:11 43m 39s Full of Thoughts ♥ 1 I was able to get it to run without any trouble. The only bug I noticed was when I completed a game (win or lose), it seems to freeze at the main menu. Otherwise it worked fine. The two similar-looking human icons made this a bit challenging, but I was able to win within a couple of tries. You could expand this game by having a series of levels with shorter time limits and/or different icons. The gooey brain-like background is uncanny.
Aug 13 15:29:18 1h 41m The Pit ♥ 0 It took me a while to figure out the difference between hitting and kicking, but with some help from the comments here I figured it out. I felt an overwhelming urge to be able to _jump_ on top of the boxes as they landed on either side of me. Either that or a way to destroy some of the boxes. In any case you nailed the theme with this game and it sure is challenging. One way to improve your game is to have a score at the top of the screen that indicates the number of boxes that landed. The highest I got is 20 (including the box that landed on my head), as shown in the screenshot. I am curious if anyone got further, and if so how. boxes.png
Aug 13 17:16:26 1h 47m Adware Attack ♥ 1 A nightmarish cacophony of insidious marketing — and fun at that. Great job. I wonder if you've been inspired by Holly Herndon (especially her videos "Home" and "Chorus"). She has turned this kind of thing into an art form.
Aug 13 17:40:14 23m 48s Reverse ♥ 1 Great game. It took me a while to think in "reverse" but once it sank in, I was able to make good progress. The underlying concept is brilliant and you nailed the theme as well. I also love the music. P.S. I wasn't even aware that some users don't have QWERTY keyboards. It was thoughtful of you to take that into account. I am curious now as to which keyboards don't have this layout.
Aug 13 18:20:34 40m 20s Cactus Madness! ♥ 0 I love the _art brut_ style of this game, it creates a powerful mood and it put me in a different state of mind. As for moving from hand to digital, the latter has its advantages but then again there is something more authentic about hand-drawn art, as this game makes evident. I look forward to seeing more games with Cynthia in the future.
Aug 13 18:39:12 18m 38s Crash·Data ♥ 2 Great game. Music is edgy and the gameplay is fast and furious. I had a blast playing this game.
Aug 13 19:25:08 45m 56s Triangle Adventures ♥ 1 It took me a while to figure this out as well. In any case, it's always pleasing to get the triangles to unite. I am curious now as to what the purple triangle looks like. She seems to be extremely patient, waiting for her beloved to build a path to her. I felt as if I were fighting against the forces of destruction while she waited for me, never giving up hope. There is a lot of poetic value in this game.
Aug 13 19:38:13 13m 05s Finding the Path ♥ 0 This game is good for developing concentration; I noticed that whenever my mind started to drift, I would wander too close to a wall and end up back at the starting point. Completing a level was fun because I was curious to see what the next level would look like.
Aug 13 19:54:03 15m 50s The Fall of Arcology ONE ♥ 0 Same here, I get a '404 Not Found' message. Screen shot looks tempting though.
Aug 13 20:16:42 22m 39s Countdown ♥ 2 A fun game. I set myself a goal of lasting at least 100 seconds, and that was no easy task. At first I thought that the key is to perch the ball on top of a hex that is surrounded by high numbers — until I discovered that remaining motionless only makes the numbers go faster. I learned that by constantly moving I can survive longer. In any case the end is inevitable, and in my mind the game symbolizes the creeping forces of time and mortality as they encroach upon the lone individual. countdown.png
Aug 14 01:15:10 4h 58m Stop the Darkness ♥ 1 After I stopped the darkness I couldn't stop playing. I never knew that mining rocks and growing forests could be so much fun. An addictive, well-designed game.
Aug 14 19:18:46 18h 03m Baggage Claim ♥ 1 A fun game. I think you did a good job with both the mechanics and the aesthetics (nice choice of icons and sounds). I found it interestingly difficult to plan ahead by getting luggage off the outer rings, while being careful not to neglect the center. The only bug I noticed is that the score remains at zero.
Aug 14 19:54:27 35m 41s Volant Islands ♥ 3 Nice work. The game was challenging but not too difficult. I found myself having to strategize and it was fun to see my planning actually pay off. You did an amazing job with the graphics, I like especially the flower patterns at the end of each level.
Aug 15 00:54:48 5h 00m Dystopia Tycoon ♥ 1 An interesting game. It was challenging without being frustrating. As mentioned above, it was nice having a reward every time the clock clicked down. I also noticed a bit of flickering the first time I played, but when I quit and restarted the game it went away. That was the only bug I noticed. Nice work.
Aug 15 01:15:49 21m 01s CRUMBLE ♥ 1 It felt good to gather resources, but at the same time in the back of my mind there was a lurking worry about the crumbling. That created an interesting tension. I especially liked the music in this game, it really added a lot to the mood.
Aug 15 01:57:47 41m 58s Bunny Ice Cream Maker ♥ 2 One of the better games I've played here. You did a great job in many of the categories — graphics, audio, and fun, to name a few. The toilet sound effects and bunny face are impeccable. Great job folks.
Aug 15 02:54:26 56m 39s Problematic Quadratic ♥ 1 Simple game mechanic that put my brain in overdrive. Music is spot on.
Aug 15 19:04:22 16h 09m Sins of Gluttony ♥ 0 It wasn't clear to me what the 'E' key is for but then I realized it's needed for jumping on the second level. At first I thought there was a bug on the third level but then I discovered the 'E' key is needed there too. I got stuck on the tongue level. In any case this is a good start with potential. I like the way the blocks disappear as one moves forward.
Aug 15 19:31:55 27m 33s Path Blocker ♥ 0 I like this game. As progress is made, the player is boxed in. It fits in well with the theme and it also reflects life to an extent. A philosophical puzzle game. Well done.
