But there is still a room for improvement: Firstly, god damn skip button(seriously, it's not that hard), Secondly, pause button, and thirdy, I don't know if its allowed on LD, but please change blender AI so they don't shoot randomly, it's really hard to get past them without getting hit(maybe add some kind of timer that changes direction). Overall: good entery, I really like an idea and final boss. | |
| Aug 14 17:08:34 | 9h 37m | Shrinking Bubbles | ♥ 0 | Very original idea, and it's very fun to pop those bubles but there is not very much to play with, flying from buble to buble gets boring really fast and i couldn't find any purpose of path drawing other than overall look, you can just click wherever you want and player will fly to this point, also I haven't heard any sounds or music but audio category haven't been opped out(is it a bug?). Other than that, good game. Graphics is really nice and controlls are very responsive. |

I like the game, but not the controlls, it's really hard to play. Every time when I trying to do something, I'm rather getting stuck in garbage or flip over and have to wait until respawn. I also have found very annoing bug: when you respawn and there is some trash under spawnpoint, you spawn ontop of objects and when you tries get down, car flips again. Really great game, hope you'll make something out of it after LD |

Don't get me wrong, it looks amazing, music is great but there's not very much to play with and it is also hard to understand what to do(meybe some kind of a tutorial or a little popups will help). I love the artwork but I think you should've spent more time on gameplay. |

Here's what I think: Game looks awesome, art, style reminds me about games made by the Tomorrow Corporation (Guys who made world of goo, little inferno, human resource machine etc.), Music sounds good, and don't get boring during playtime. The only thing that the game lacks is gameplay, I've managed to beat all levels by just pressing forward and jumping at the right time, HP bar is kinda useless because you will probably run out of space faster than get killed by an enemy. And one little thing that made me a bit uncomfortable is that those cute cubes are not that squishy as they appears to be, when I looked at the preview, I thought that they have marshmallows-like consistency, but they are just white solid cubes instead. Overall: I really like the graphics and the rest of the game feels good, so for me, this is a very great game. |

And it's kinda hard to tell the differences between AI and actual player, I suggest changing the shirt color for player (or for AI). |

Everything about this game is great, let's check: Graphic: Great pixel art with smooth animations Music: loop is short, but the game doesn't really need long one, and it's really fits in the game Gamplay: A lot of levels with very interesting and challenging puzzles Core mechanics: well done, haven't found any bugs, all abilities work great Overall: I think we found a winner (or at least one of them). And don't just leave your game at this point, make more levels, add something new, and make it into the full game! |
