Jul 31 12:32:18 Clear the River! ♥ 3 The music added a fun atmosphere, but it got repetitive after a while. I enjoyed the small details you added, like the people walking to the river to throw the rubbish away. Overall, a simple game but executed decently. If you've only had three weeks coding experience prior to this, then this is quite remarkable progress. I hope you'll continue participating in LD, and good job! (Also thanks for playing my game too)
Jul 31 12:45:40 13m 22s Not Like This... ♥ 2 I liked the idea of having a "platformer" while trying to defend from the aliens at the same time. I think the concept of the game is quite interesting. It's great that you had time to add music too, which I felt really made the game more tense and frantic. I couldn't really get the jumps properly on some occasions, so maybe the platforms could be made to boost the player a bit more. Overall, good idea and execution. Great job!
Jul 31 12:56:36 10m 56s Stellar Blackout ♥ 1 I liked the art style of the entire game. I think one simple improvement to the entire game would be to make the sliders larger, so it's easier to quickly adjust the levels. Also, perfects more visually show the effects of certain events. I like the music and audio, which generally added an eerie atmosphere to the entire game. Great job!
Jul 31 13:03:40 7m 04s Reverse Thrust ♥ 0 Good idea using text-to-speech for the audio. The game was pretty good, and I liked the little clippy that appeared at the bottom. The little touches were quite funny too, like how the name input will increase whenever you clicked 'start' without writing a name. I'm really quite bad at these kinds of games that require agility so I kept smashing into the asteroids. Graphics are quite decent. Maybe consider changing the energy level into a progress bar instead of changing colors, as that may show the level more accurately (unless the intention is to obscure it)? Good job!
Jul 31 13:10:05 6m 25s B1NMAN_ROFP ♥ 1 I liked the aesthetic of the game, minimalist and yet quite nice. Everything seems pretty polished for something made in 48 hours. Really great job for your first Ludum Dare, and I hope you'll continue participating!
Jul 31 13:18:22 8m 17s SpaceReturn ♥ 1 Wow, this is really impressive for 48 hours! It's like FTL but with the freedom to build your own spaceship. I'm not really a fan of the audio though. I hope you'll continue to develop this further, maybe add things like crew members etc. Great job!
Jul 31 13:23:23 5m 01s Feed the Machine ♥ 1 The game is simple and yet surprisingly requires some thought - especially with not overcharging the batteries. The game felt like some kind of incremental that didn't let you lose focus, which was kinda neat. Good job!
Jul 31 13:28:14 4m 51s Running Out of Power ♥ 0 The graphics are really bizarre, but I found them hilarious for some reason (so I suppose you succeeded, haha). I like the idea of the game, and I think if you had a bit more time you could polish it up more. Good job!
Jul 31 13:39:51 11m 37s Dorgus Needs Power! ♥ 1 Nice art style. I had to get used to not shooting enemies from afar, since the batteries disappeared maybe a tad too quickly. It feels like a very cohesive and polished game. The recoil of the gun was also quite a challenge, but in a good way. Great job! (Also thanks for playing my game too 😁)
Jul 31 13:45:08 5m 17s Generator #4875 ♥ 1 I liked the graphic style and the small details, like the current flowing through the wires into the battery. Very chilling atmosphere, so you've gotten the mood down really well. Probably the most, ...grim Ludum Dare game I've ever played. Very, very polished game, or should I say social commentary? Good job!
Jul 31 15:46:38 2h 01m Pylon Pressure ♥ 1 Interesting puzzle. Couldn't get all the four endings though. Nice graphics, but the audio for placing the towers was a bit jarring for me. Very British humour, I enjoyed reading the letters. Good job!
Jul 31 15:55:08 8m 30s Electron ♥ 1 Simple game, but well-executed. I was quite bad at it though... Good job!
Jul 31 16:00:54 5m 46s Constellation Exploration ♥ 1 It was a fun little game, but the difficulty really spikes at level 2. The audio was fine, the graphics are functional, making this game pretty polished. I've learnt that I'm _definitely a loser_ 😁. Good job!
Jul 31 16:15:46 14m 52s The Stonemont Chronicles ♥ 1 Good job you've done here! I guess we both interpreted the themes similarly, since my game is also about managing a council 😁. It's quite impressive how you much content you've managed to add within 48 hours. I also like the map, and the idea of having neighbouring nations absorb your territory. The dialogue is quite amusing as well. I think one way to improve this game would be to have more variables - like visible population, or army size - that might add a deeper level of strategy to the game, sort of like Reigns. Graphics look very clean too. Great job!
