May 1 04:00:39 Rise of the Termites ♥ 1 Really cool, lots of polish! I couldn't beat the first level though, because you can't demolish buildings and I didn't realize only workers counted as population. But all of that's already addressed here, and the game is really good!
May 1 04:26:35 25m 56s _Save_ ♥ 3 Really fun, and the presentation/graphics were fantastic. The sprites reminded me of Downwell, which I love.
May 1 04:41:31 14m 56s Terra ♥ 1 I loved the atmosphere and the graphics! The ending was really nice, as well. It's refreshing to see a game with a story amongst a bunch of arcade games!
May 2 01:32:53 20h 51m Duckinator9000 ♥ 0 Really fun! I especially loved the music, and the explosion effects.
May 3 00:38:22 23h 05m Global Disaster ♥ 1 Woah, this game is intense! My best was 175s. The main mechanic was really refined, and you pulled it off fantastically. One of my favorite things that happened was when I had one guy left alive, and two meteors were about to crash right into him... but they both hit each other, saving his life! My only real gripes was that it was sometimes hard to push the clouds away, and also the non-rounded shape of the planet sometimes made the volcanoes look really goofy.
May 3 00:49:37 11m 15s Godspeed Mankind ♥ 1 The presentation was really good, and the game mechanics were easy to grasp. I was left kind of hoping that the (three?) different sets of each structure were differently coloured or otherwise marked, because I got pretty confused as to where I was on the globe. But overall, I enjoyed it. :)
May 3 02:31:21 1h 41m Inside the Blockhead ♥ 0 The control scheme was really original, it was really cool to be controlling the world more so than the player. It was, however, a little bit infuriating to use, but I think that's intentional challenge and I just suck :P. I really liked the color wheel mechanics, the fact that it was a wheel instead of a hotkey meant I had to manage movement and spinning the wheel around to the correct color. I couldn't beat it, unfortunately, because at the end there was a bit with a lot of spikes and toggle-able blocks, and it was HARD. But hard isn't a bad thing, and getting to each checkpoint was super satisfying.
May 3 23:24:36 20h 53m Libre ♥ 2 Super ambitious! I loved the graphics, atmosphere, and the added layer of acting which I don't think any other entry has. It's also super impressive that you did this progress in two languages. After a few levels, the puzzles got a bit dull which was unfortunate. But I still played to the end, and it was interesting. Gameplay-wise, I wish there was a little animation when I moved the tiles, but most other people have said that already. The mood really makes this game, and it definitely paid off.
May 5 02:38:44 27h 14m Recoil Assault ♥ 1 Woah, this is a really original gameplay mechanic! I've never played anything before that had me weigh if shooting at an enemy would throw me off a cliff. That being said, it was a little frustrating that it took so many shots to kill one guy :P Overall though, this was really cool, and I enjoyed it a lot. :)
May 5 02:50:53 12m 09s Exploroka ♥ 2 The world generation is super cool. It was really fun to explore and look around in, and the 2D trees didn't even bother me, I thought it fit the aesthetic. It got a little dull quite fast though, which might have been better if I could pick up/hoard allllll the diamonds and dole them out to houses as I please. Very ambitious infinite world, and really impressive.
May 5 02:57:25 6m 32s Tub of War ♥ 1 Ridiculous amount of polish for a Ludum Dare game, holy crap. The models are great, the gameplay is fun and well-designed, and I didn't run into a single bug. Even the SFX don't sound out of place, because the game is so light-hearted and silly!
May 6 02:35:45 23h 38m Fixville ♥ 2 Please keep making games! That opening cutscene was really impressive, and the forest where the tiny people lived looked honestly fantastic. I was a lil bit disappointing that I didn't get to play around in the forest, as the big room was less magical. But you really know how to set the atmosphere, and I still found the sense of smallness quite charming in the big room!
May 12 02:51:58 144h 16m Pity About Earth... ♥ 2 That was super fun! One of the best LD38 entries I've played yet! Not necessarily an original idea, but done to absolute perfection down to the sound effects, music, graphics, and the suuuuper satisfying gameplay. The missiles were a bit lame, but bouncing asteroids away from Earth was intense and ridiculously fun. Please make more games!
