May 14 16:27:34 Soleil ♥ 1 Given Jam time constraints, quite nice 3D platformer. The camera could be improved by having an option to zoom further out, and some more calls-to-action (arrows etc.). I also had the "catapulting key" issue in Level 2, as well as what I think were clipping issues. I liked the simple, polygonal graphics, since they prevented the level from becoming cluttered, especially combined with the stark lighting, helping to highlight the important elements of the scene. And I found the general concept endearing, kind of like "Descent meets platformer".
May 14 17:03:11 35m 37s Wandering Planet ♥ 0 First of all, kudos for the interface and minimal controls, it's pretty much clear from the get-go what the mechanics are and what the goal is. The combination of KD-like gathering and gravity is interesting. One problem is the risk of relatively small objects (including your planet) getting a big bump in velocity. This is unfortunately a natural consequence of the laws of physics - and what enables gravity assists for real-life space vehicles by the way. I'm guessing this is why the game is restartable. Overall, though, very much enjoyed it!
May 14 17:31:25 28m 14s Cosmic Chaos Crunch ♥ 2 I agree with the other commenter's that the game was too easy due to the huge playing area. Otherwise, I enjoyed it, and having a proper intro sequence is a rarity for LD, so congrats on that!
May 14 17:37:58 6m 33s Protect ♥ 1 The hard mode is indeed... hard, wow. Nice incorporation of the music theme into the mechanics, pretty much first rhytm game I played that I liked.
May 14 17:57:30 19m 32s Tiny Venture ♥ 0 Graphics are gorgeous, theme fits 100%. I find the UI/mechanics could be simplified a bit - making eating/harvesting context sensitive would be one example, *not* listing all movement options (since they're typical FPP fare) is another. Also, props for the giant flaming stone head!
May 14 18:07:23 9m 53s Small Mart ♥ 0 Introvert Simulator 2017. Nice theme interpretation. Game can be easily passed on the first go, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Had fun playing.
May 14 18:15:42 8m 19s The Burrow ♥ 0 Very original entry. Originally I thought that an antagonistic force would contribute to the playability, but after going through the game I think it would clash with the mood. I very much like the little environment interaction touches, and how everything (graphics, music, gameplay) fits together.
May 14 18:24:10 8m 28s Terraform ♥ 1 Looks nice overall, very much reminding of Don't Starve with a sci-fi instead of a mystical theme. Speaking of theme - fits really well, we had a similar starting idea for our game in fact (although went in a different direction). Like the other commenters said, good base to expand on.
May 15 15:29:31 21h 05m MiniWorlds ♥ 0 Some of the games are rather easy once you learn the movement patterns (e.g. Knight and Zombie). Otherwise, impressive for a first attempt. Even with asset reuse etc. it must have taken a lot of work to produce all those games and levels and make them consistently playable.
May 15 16:09:11 39m 40s Stellar Swarm ♥ 2 My only gripe is that there doesn't appear to be anything to defense other than the turrets, so the optimal strategy is just placing the turrets right on top of each other (also, a keyboard shortcut for the nuke would be nice). Otherwise, solid entry, definitely had fun.
May 15 16:18:08 8m 57s Planetclimb ♥ 1 Unfortunately, it was hard to figure out how the various interactions work. But good groundwork for something more elaborate.
May 15 16:25:21 7m 13s CarefulSaurus ♥ 1 Fun take on the theme. I also liked the "crayony" shader, very nice trick for quickly creating a distinct style!
May 15 16:49:45 24m 24s Moonbase-LD38 ♥ 0 Hah, looks like we had a similar idea. I agree it is hard to figure out how to play at first. Otherwise, good work!
May 15 20:08:36 3h 18m Turtle World ♥ 1 Great idea, one of the most original entries I've seen so far. Levels could use a bit more balance, but mechanics are easy to figure out organically, so had fun overall.
May 16 18:34:50 22h 26m Moon Dozer ♥ 1 My only gripe: consider ditching the camera switch on shot, it makes understanding the shot mechanics very confusing. Otherwise: congrats on a great entry! Had a laugh, concept fits the theme to a T, the choice of background music is perfect!
May 16 18:43:17 8m 27s Command Ant Conquer ♥ 2 Seriously, one of the best entries I've seen so far. Very tightly executed concept, nice graphics and audio, easy-to-understand mechanics. Also curious how you implemented the AI. Congrats on getting all of this done for the Jam! PS. Love the name :D.
