| Dec 12 12:17:00 | Concierge | I'm not a huge fan of the fact that there are, as you said, unwinnable scenarios. But I love the characters and how each one of them has different traits/patterns, even if I haven't figured out all of them yet. Goddamn Cthulhu lady... | |
| Dec 12 12:25:00 | 8m 00s | Snapped | The walking animation actually made me motion sick. However, from what I could play of the game, it looks very well-crafted. I disliked how I found myself just spam clicking to try to find clues, though. |
| Dec 12 13:43:00 | 1h 18m | Networking™ | Couldn't hear any of the audio and I'm not really sure what you're supposed to do in the game. Does it just end after "Freedom..." ? |
| Dec 12 13:46:00 | 3m 00s | Last Night On Earth | The viewport was really hard to control but I feel that kinda added to the stress, well done! |
| Dec 12 13:51:00 | 5m 00s | Dungeon Siege | Was a little difficult to understand what's going on. I think the game would be more enjoyable to play if the the health bars were labeled, the costs of units were more clear (I thought I had 20 fighters at first), and the information on units and controls was in the game instead of the description. |
| Dec 12 13:55:00 | 4m 00s | MAX | The robot didn't spawn in my game (like in the screenshots) and I couldn't figure out if it was a bug or if I was doing something wrong. |
| Dec 12 13:58:00 | 3m 00s | Exit The Room Update 1.1 | As others have said, I didn't really want to play a game where one of the win conditions is just waiting for five minutes. |
| Dec 12 14:03:00 | 5m 00s | The Small Escape | The game doesn't run on its own. You should probably compile the game as a standalone application. I can't judge it if I can't play it. |
| Dec 12 14:11:00 | 8m 00s | 4/4 Room | The card system is REALLY clever! I love the idea of changing the dungeon layout as a core gameplay mechanic. My only complaint is that it's a little unclear how enemies scale with the difficulty. I can see my own stats, but I can't see enemies' stats. |
| Dec 12 14:17:00 | 6m 00s | Abandon Ship | The framerate makes it really difficult to play. Also, when my mouse left the game window, the mouse cursor became unbound to the game window and the camera became impossible to control. |
| Dec 12 14:23:00 | 6m 00s | El Laberinto De Pereira | I like the music, the maze is really frustrating though. I found myself frequently asking myself "Just how big is this maze!?" |
| Dec 12 16:58:00 | 2h 35m | BreakOut | Nice little game, my only complaint is that the messages from notes disappear too quickly after moving. I frequently found myself not knowing what a a note said. |
| Dec 12 17:06:00 | 8m 00s | Walkie Talkie | I'd love to rate this game, but the game doesn't work for me for whatever reason. It wouldn't let me type any characters. |
| Dec 12 17:14:00 | 8m 00s | Hikikomori | As someone who suffers from an anxiety disorder, this game came very close to hitting home for me. There are a few problems that I can't overlook though. I beat(?) the game by simply walking into the door and making my anxiety stat go up to 101. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a commentary on how one must experience anxiety to overcome it, or just a bug where I clipped through the door. Also, many of the HUD elements are in very strange locations, often times overlapping each other. |
| Dec 12 17:26:00 | 12m 00s | CrateBlaster | Reminds me of an old Snake game I used to play on an IBM Thinkpad. A decent little mini-game. |
| Dec 12 17:36:00 | 10m 00s | 1 biT Strike | Very fun, looks heavily polished and I love the graphics/music. Doesn't really fit in with the theme though. |
| Dec 12 17:49:00 | 13m 00s | Broken Breakout? | Reminds me of tilting a pinball table. Very clever! |
| Dec 12 21:24:00 | 3h 35m | PacTwist | The embedded game freaks out a bit in my browser window, but it's remedied if I go fullscreen. A fun concept, I could see myself playing a mobile version of this. |
| Dec 12 21:30:00 | 6m 00s | Trapped | The game constantly moves me to the top of the browser window whenever I hit a key, moving the text parser off of the screen. I'd like to play more of this, but this bug makes it really annoying to do so. |
| Dec 12 21:36:00 | 6m 00s | One Room Personality Test | I don't see how this has anything to do with the theme. |
| Dec 13 15:03:00 | 17h 27m | Polygroom | I think a health bar would be a good thing to have added, otherwise it's actually pretty fun! |
| Dec 13 15:07:00 | 4m 00s | Top Down Room Escape | Reminds me a bit of Chip's Challenge. However, the character's pretty hard to control and it's pretty unclear what to do after moving the squares into the boxes. |
| Dec 13 15:09:00 | 2m 00s | Graveyard Cleaning Shift | It's really tough to aim, cool to see a Pico-8 game though! |
| Dec 15 14:58:00 | 47h 49m | Moonlight Maximum | Pretty fun for a simple top-down shooter. I think some additional movement options (maybe purchasable as upgrades) would add a lot to the game too. |
| Dec 15 15:03:00 | 5m 00s | One classRoom to teach them all | The game would be a lot more enjoyable if you could aim with the mouse. |
| Dec 15 15:04:00 | 1m 00s | Stick Figure Animator [NOT A GAME] | I don't see how this fits with the theme and it also isn't a game... |
| Dec 15 15:13:00 | 9m 00s | What Have I Done? A Virtual Pet Simulator | A pretty clever idea, although the sword doesn't seem to work in the ending(?) that I got. |
| Dec 15 15:17:00 | 4m 00s | Lust for Gold | The Web link just leads to a google drive page... |
| Dec 17 16:53:00 | 49h 36m | Your the only person that matters | Link is broken, as many others have said. There's also a grammatical error in the title, it should be "You're." |
| Dec 17 17:19:00 | 26m 00s | R E P E A T | I would recommend adding a web link in addition to the embedded player. Regarding the game, the mood is fantastic. It reminds me of a dream I sometimes have where I'm constantly trying to wake up but I keep ending up in my bed. However, I found it unclear what to do after the second repetition. |
| Dec 17 17:21:00 | 2m 00s | OneRoom | The mouse pointer won't get locked to the screen even when I enable that option in the upper-right. I like the ambient sound and graphics though. |
