| Aug 31 08:17:00 | Heat Ray Defense | I like it! I originally wanted to do something similar to this. <br/>Wish I could point the mirrors to my mouse though instead of dragging them around. But maybe that is part of the difficulty of the game? | |
| Aug 31 08:25:00 | 8m 00s | THE BOX | I loved the detail in the animations and the very fitting sounds, the environment around the game is great. Unfortunately I'm not that good with riddles so I couldn't complete it, gave up on the second level and gasped when I saw the answer in the source code. |
| Aug 31 08:33:00 | 8m 00s | Call of the Ancients | If to progress the game I must make an actual call I can't do it as I don't live in the US. |
| Aug 31 08:45:00 | 12m 00s | Rat-tato Power | Loved it! My max score was 355, with just 1 exploded. Wish there was a leaderboard so I could keep playing to beat everyone! |
| Aug 31 08:52:00 | 7m 00s | Tappy Catapult | Does not display correctly in the embedded player, see scrollbars on bottom and right. Fine in the Web link, which I've used to write my comment. <br/> <br/>It's quite hard, I like it! I was unable to restart the level when I dropped the boulder to the left of the catapult to see what would happen. Gave up due to that. |
| Sep 1 13:23:00 | 28h 31m | Do robots dream of flying dog baskets? | Found a couch looking thing in the "Cats and Dogs" place, found the fans and the power. Built a pulley. Was then stuck. |
| Sep 1 13:31:00 | 8m 00s | DIGGIN' | Does not run/takes a while to load without a progress bar on Linux. |
| Sep 1 16:00:00 | 2h 29m | The Sleeper | Loved the game! <br/> <br/>The mix of large blocks of texts and gameplay was very interesting. It was rather hard to figure out a way to get ahead in the game (which is a good thing!), and the graphics were very fitting! <br/> <br/>Sadly, a small bug made the game crash for me as I was starting to win. Will play again soon! |
| Sep 1 16:14:00 | 14m 00s | Fireworks Grandmaster | Does not run on Linux, which is strange for Unity and HTML5. |
| Sep 1 18:00:00 | 1h 46m | DYSCOVR | This is a work of art! Graphics and music are extremely fitting, felt amazing to play even though there wasn't too much to do. <br/> <br/>Great job! |
| Sep 2 06:59:00 | 12h 59m | Lanterns Light | Cannot run this, no Linux version. Can you export a Web version? |
| Sep 2 07:02:00 | 3m 00s | Azymuth | Cannot run this, no Linux version. This looks like Unity and, if so, could you export a Web version? |
| Sep 2 07:03:00 | 1m 00s | Explojan Horse | Cannot run this, no Linux version. Could you release the source code so I can try compiling it on my machine? Or do you use something Windows-only? |
| Sep 2 07:12:00 | 9m 00s | Tic Tac Toe - Commodore 64 | Instructions for running on Arch Linux: <br/>Install vice: pacman -S vice <br/>Download and extract the "LD36 TPHX.zip" (in the "Commodore 64" link) <br/>Navigate to the directory where you extracted it and run: x64 TICTACTOE.PRG <br/> <br/>Looks like a nice implementation! Wish I could try getting it to run on a C64. |
| Sep 2 07:44:00 | 32m 00s | City Clicker | A very fun game with lots of promise for polishing and release, that currently might have a few more bugs than wanted. Graphics are very fitting. <br/> <br/>Congratulations! |
| Sep 2 08:01:00 | 17m 00s | Antikythera Mechanism | Tried running the .jar on Linux to no success: the main menu is displayed and I managed to read 2 screens of dialogue, but after that, the game crashes with a NullPointerException: http://pastebin.com/6WN1wFt4. |
| Sep 2 08:07:00 | 6m 00s | Javelipes | Fun game, managed a 268 after a few tries! The graphics are acceptable and the music and sounds are fitting. And it did get my fingers hurt a bit, even more than my game! <br/> <br/>The only way I managed to play was reading the comments -- I thought there was some javelin throwing rule I didn't know, but turns out my character just slid after throwing. |
| Sep 2 08:18:00 | 11m 00s | tEGGnology | Music and art are simply beautiful! I thought this would be just a game about moving right endlessly with no difficulty at first, but that proved wrong after I stopped suddenly. Meeting the dragon was very fun after it cracked my egg! Unlocked all the techs, managed a few 100m+ scores. Wish there was a way to see my highscore to see how far I've gotten. <br/> <br/>Easily the best LD36 game in all 32 I've gone through so far. |
| Sep 2 11:07:00 | 2h 49m | Fiery Sword | Could not play as it does not run on Linux. |
| Sep 2 15:04:00 | 3h 57m | Back to Nature | Fitting graphics and music, control scheme could be improved upon. Gameplay is brutal (a good thing!) Had it had a better control scheme, I'd have loved it! |
| Sep 2 15:06:00 | 2m 00s | thepyramid | Shame that you used SDL and didn't release the source code/made a Linux build! Please do, I will check it later! |
| Sep 2 15:15:00 | 9m 00s | Golem | Graphics and sounds are great! The concept itself is interesting and got me hooked. Gameplay could be faster (the button didn't help with this). Going to the next level sometimes took too long. |
| Sep 3 08:05:00 | 16h 50m | Error 404: Floppy Disc Not Found | Hi! Could you release the source code so I can run it with Linux? Thanks! |
| Sep 3 08:07:00 | 2m 00s | Psychic Squid | Would love to play this, but I run Linux. |
| Sep 3 08:29:00 | 22m 00s | An Historic Defense | Highest wave first try: 5. <br/>Highest wave second try: 10. <br/> <br/>Graphics are okay, sound effects are decent. Default mouse sensivity was fine. I loved how difficult it was at the beginning when starting out, it was quick to figure out too! Unfortunately, by the end of the game, it felt repetitive for me, their AI is rather easy to beat and I feel there isn't much I can do when I make a little mistake and lose 1 HP permanently (Maybe next time you could add a way to recover health?). <br/> <br/>Either way, a very good game, especially if it's your first one. Congratulations! |
| Sep 3 08:31:00 | 2m 00s | Pix Eliz Great tiny adventure | Does not run on Linux. |
| Sep 3 08:35:00 | 4m 00s | Stranded | Would have played this if it ran on Linux, looks interesting. Will check back later. |
| Sep 3 08:40:00 | 5m 00s | Squarehead Man and the Weather Machines | Few spelling mistakes. <br/> <br/>Crashes before getting to the game on Linux. Console log: http://pastebin.com/RdLWg8by. <br/> <br/>If you want, pass by the IRC and I'm willing to test new builds. |
| Sep 3 09:00:00 | 20m 00s | Ancient Maze of Epla | Amazing graphics, good music. Gameplay is compelling and got me hooked for a while, even though I don't particularly enjoy these kinds of games, I rage quit after almost completing level 2 and being blocked. Very good game in general, congratulations! Nice to see someone else on Kongregate like I :)! |
| Sep 3 09:27:00 | 27m 00s | Egypt Technology | Running on Linux, a small text issue (http://i.imgur.com/e4AjIn9.png). The game had an interesting start, wish there was more to it! Music felt nice. |
| Sep 3 09:36:00 | 9m 00s | Evacuate | Runs fine on Linux. Gameplay itself is interesting and hooked me for a bit, managed to figure it out easily, I love these kinds of games! The AI could be improved upon, I had enemies in the middle of the screen tearing through everything when I had lots of houses dedicated for defense. The user interface is hard to use, can't really tell which profession I'm dragging to which house. |
| Sep 3 09:43:00 | 7m 00s | Ancient Factory City | The game play itself feels great and I wish I could play it. After carefully reading the controls I figured out how to play it, that's not an issue. But the controls themselves are too difficult to use, making it harder to interact with the game, than the game itself. Please do extend this game and put it out somewhere, I'd love to see what comes out of it! |
| Sep 8 00:39:00 | 110h 56m | Ancient Robots | Experimental Linux build runs perfectly! <br/> <br/>Gameplay itself was interesting, I thought it was one of those visual programming games at first (Such as "Golem", in this LD, at http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-36/?action=preview&uid=45115), but it was far from that. The card system made it random and fun, and since I was forced to pick 5 cards it was sometimes difficult to choose the best combination. <br/> <br/>I figured out how to play without reading any instructions, which is very good. <br/> <br/>Sound effects were very fitting, maybe there could have been music? |
| Sep 8 00:54:00 | 15m 00s | Rune Stacker | Very cool concept for a game. I love how you took Stacker and added the rotating rings. <br/> <br/>Managed 35 on my third try! |
