| Aug 28 01:39:00 | Sleep | Saw your review of my game, came on over to see yours. Have to say, I'm incredibly impressed, and a little jealous. That was a very quaint and quirky, yet deep and cozily intimate little story. Nice job. | |
| Aug 30 11:29:00 | 57h 50m | Convergence | A fun little tower defense game. Not much more than that, though. Easy to pick up and play, so you have that going for you. Made it to Wave 10. |
| Aug 30 11:40:00 | 11m 00s | Conglomerates | Very cool, interesting, and fun idea for a strategy game! Reminded me of Galcon. Liked the look and design of it.. If only I could be good enough to last past the first level :P |
| Aug 30 12:02:00 | 22m 00s | Sungates | Fun little strategy game; and I love strategy games. Controls and interface could use some work, and the transition from battles back to the map is very jarring, but the gameplay is otherwise fantastic. Nice job. |
| Aug 30 16:43:00 | 4h 41m | Parallel Rift | Gorgeous art and gorgeous animation is what's to be found here. Gameplay, though, could use some work. I'd find myself getting surprise Game Overs or not making jumps I knew I'd ought to make, etc., and the controls are a bit wonky. |
| Aug 30 17:03:00 | 20m 00s | Space Spy Story | Very fun, lighthearted, whimsical little game. Even though I got stuck on the third mission (:P), I liked the little story I got and the humor that was packed up in there. The UI and gameplay, albeit very confusing, at least to me, show potential. |
| Aug 30 17:54:00 | 51m 00s | Intranet | Very thought-provoking, minimalist story. Loved the simplistic dialogue, loved the whole "computerized" theme the story had going along with it. Quite an uncomfortable amount of spelling or grammar errors, however, and, while those are actually important in a text-based game (for immersion purposes), you did do this in a weekend, after all. |
| Aug 31 03:42:00 | 9h 48m | Grow your Planet | Like the music, and the hand drawn actually adds a bit to the charm of the game. Also, I'm always a fan of picture-taking gameplay. |
| Aug 31 04:48:00 | 1h 06m | Connected Caves | Very aesthetically pleasing with nice visuals and ambient sound. Was artsy-looking with some seeds and almost unsettling (in an atmospheric, good sort of way) with others. Spamming flares was fun. Good job! |
| Aug 31 05:16:00 | 28m 00s | Liebyrinth | Fun and easy-to-pick-up gameplay, good use of the theme. Spent way too much time playing this than what's justifiable. |
| Aug 31 05:18:00 | 2m 00s | Star Crossed | While the game itself wasn't the best, I loved the music and the concept! |
| Aug 31 05:44:00 | 26m 00s | Terminal | Incredibly atmospheric and interesting; always like command line-based games. Did get confusing, though; some commands didn't work when they ought to have, text went down the screen and there was no way to scroll down to read it, etc. |
| Aug 31 05:50:00 | 6m 00s | Interstice | Fun little shooter, but moving was really, really wonky. Kind of detracted from the experience, but it was still a solid game. |
| Aug 31 19:18:00 | 13h 28m | The Long Way Home | My game kept constantly switching between my characters while I was using the WASD controls; when I switched to the arrow keys, though, it stopped. Really nifty idea, I like the music and the art, the gameplay could just use some more polish (or, at least, explaining.) |
| Aug 31 19:36:00 | 18m 00s | Universal Gravitation | Very quirky and fun. The swinging mechanic is very wonky and troublesome to get used to, but once you do get used to it, it's pretty fun. |
| Aug 31 19:48:00 | 12m 00s | Prismatic Worlds | Innovative gameplay, and very gorgeous lighting. Didn't run like the shiniest new car in the world or anything, though. |
| Aug 31 19:50:00 | 2m 00s | Disconnect | I really, really, really loved the music. The game was good by itself, but really, that was great music. |
| Aug 31 19:57:00 | 7m 00s | Frozen Mirror | While the graphics could have used work, I liked the sound and musical cues. |
| Aug 31 20:06:00 | 9m 00s | The Scientist | Like the guitar. Mechanics were fun enough, though confusing at times. |
| Aug 31 20:12:00 | 6m 00s | Space Ace | Easy and fun to pick up, fast-paced, and I always like typing games. |
| Aug 31 20:20:00 | 8m 00s | Worlds Apart | Very fun gameplay; I liked the magic, it was light and responsive. Also liked the character designs, and I feel like you were touching on a good idea for a story. |
| Aug 31 20:34:00 | 14m 00s | A letter for God | Beautiful music, beautiful art, thought-provoking story. Probably one of the better games I've seen this LD; definitely better than mine, and I also tried to go story/feels heavy with it. |
| Aug 31 20:39:00 | 5m 00s | TAGGLE | I like the visual design, the graphics and lighting and modeling and everything. Was a bit of fun to play around with my sister. Not really sure about the connection to the theme, though. |
| Aug 31 20:44:00 | 5m 00s | Death Facility | Found the movement a tad slow and the shooting buggy. Otherwise, though, it was a nice and surprisingly complete-looking game. Not sure about the relation to the theme, but, even then, nice job. |
| Aug 31 21:02:00 | 18m 00s | Zeit | Interesting idea and concept. If only you had devoted more time to it; no worries, though. It was still a solid prototype. |
| Aug 31 23:20:00 | 2h 18m | MMOCRAFT - A CONNECTED WORLD | Very moody and intelligent sound design. Simple game, but a good take on the theme. |
| Aug 31 23:23:00 | 3m 00s | Space Gate Command | Tactical turn-based strategy? Now that's already a good game in my book. You don't really see many of these, and yours actually looks like a solid enough game. Nice. Also, Firefly references are the best references. |
| Aug 31 23:42:00 | 19m 00s | Outer Shooterr | Fun little first person shooter. Could have used a lot of polish; crosshairs, more particle effects, muzzle flashes, more sound effects, more animation, etc. but it was still sound as it is. Nice one. |
| Sep 1 01:56:00 | 2h 14m | Invasion | Three hours and a GUI, all to make a bunch of Uranus jokes.

Perfect 10/10. |
| Sep 1 02:01:00 | 5m 00s | Interdependence: THE GAME | Interesting little prototype to play. Nice Jurassic Park music. |
| Sep 1 03:37:00 | 1h 36m | Save the Earth | Interesting idea, pretty cool gameplay. A nice little game. |
| Sep 1 03:39:00 | 2m 00s | New Ludum Dare Game | I had a nice chuckle. Good use of Twine. |
| Sep 1 03:51:00 | 12m 00s | Singularity | Absolutely lovely graphics, art style. Couldn't really get a hang of the gameplay, though, and my machine didn't really take too well too it. |
| Sep 1 03:55:00 | 4m 00s | e|merge | Suffers from the same problems my entry did :P I love the visuals and the audio is fantastic, though. And your story idea had potential, I really liked it. |
| Sep 1 04:00:00 | 5m 00s | Connecting LD30 to the Real World | Now this is innovation! XD |
| Sep 1 17:43:00 | 13h 43m | Chipset-0 | Gorgeous graphics and effects, catchy music, interesting and cool mechanic. If only I knew how to make a game like this. |
| Sep 1 17:51:00 | 8m 00s | Closure | Smooth gameplay, pretty art. A very, very polished game, especially for the Dare. Pat yourself on the back, I wish I knew how to pull stuff like this off. |
| Sep 1 19:27:00 | 1h 36m | Dimension Express | Loved the audio, loved the background art. Gameplay was very challenging, though starting over was bugged. |
| Sep 2 00:50:00 | 5h 23m | The Ancient Guardian | Very challenging. You have potential, though; with a bit more polish, this would be a pretty solid game. |
| Sep 3 01:34:00 | 24h 44m | Lady Lyla | Atmospheric, pretty, and incredibly poignant for what there was of it. You hit the spot with this one, though it would go down more smoothly with some more polish and time. I don't know how people can pull off such good stories with so little. |
| Sep 3 01:43:00 | 9m 00s | Garden of Oblivion | A treat to see another Ren'Py game in the mix. Nicely done art, good music, and a gripping little plot, especially for it to have been done in a weekend. Could have used some polish (like not using the default Ren'Py font, for example) and I was always on the edge for bugs, but, well, I'm sure that can be applied to most games here. Wasn't the best thing to play so late at night... |
| Sep 4 23:36:00 | 45h 53m | Shackled Worlds | Interesting, fun, and innovative mechanic. Comically literal use of the theme. I could see you working this into a real, complete game; and it might not work too bad as one. That being said, though, the compo version is a bit lacking. Still fun to play around with, but lacking. |
| Sep 4 23:41:00 | 5m 00s | How I Learned to Stop Worrying and DIMENSION JUMP | Surprisingly fun! I loved the physics and the look of the shuriken-throwing. Especially with a lot of the light enemies, how they just began racing around everywhere once there were a few shuriken stuck in 'em. Also, the dimension-switching was good and a nice use of the theme. |
| Sep 6 13:30:00 | 37h 49m | Waterworld | Boat looks and feels fantastic. Very open yet cozy-feeling game; I would have loved to navigate around the seas even more. A map, though, would definitely have been nice :P |
| Sep 6 13:49:00 | 19m 00s | Don't Eat Cute | Quirky, cool idea, even kind of unsettling,in a good way... The music really helped set the mood, both tracks XD |
| Sep 6 13:54:00 | 5m 00s | Link | Cool game, cool concept. Liked the gameplay, liked the little screenshake effect every time the screen expanded, thought that was a nice touch. |
| Sep 6 13:59:00 | 5m 00s | Flicker | That was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous lighting and graphics, gorgeous music, yet the gameplay was still fun, simple, and action-packed. Doubtlessly one of the best games this LD. |
| Sep 6 14:21:00 | 22m 00s | The Final Novel | Cool idea, with a lot lot lot of polish, I could see this becoming an actual project. There's been lots of collaborative-novel type stuff on the net that have all gone pretty well. |
| Sep 6 22:59:00 | 8h 38m | AIlocation | I loved the graphics while inside the wired connections. Graphics were cool in general, sound was aight, and the platforming was light and easy to control; which made it fun. That's right. You made fun first-person platforming. God bless. |
| Sep 6 23:08:00 | 9m 00s | Connection Failed | Shot some pandas, turned around, died. Do like the graphics, though. Shame you guys didn't have more time, I'd have liked to seen what you could have done. |
| Sep 6 23:12:00 | 4m 00s | WetWalkerWorld | Nicely written dialogue, and a cool-sounding concept. I wouldn't mind seeing this being continued into something more. |
| Sep 7 04:29:00 | 5h 17m | Perplexing Wormholes | Catchy music, cool and well-done gameplay. I think this would be really nice with some more polish; you could work it into a real, full-fledged game! |
| Sep 14 13:41:00 | 177h 12m | I am connected | You had a nice concept. It just could have used a lot lot lot more polish, but, that only shows that you could have used more time. And all of us could have used more time :P. I like the idea of the game and I think you'd have a lot of fun if you were to remake it into something better! |
| Sep 14 13:48:00 | 7m 00s | Nomoj | I like the blending of the shooting and RPG mechanics; that's a novel and fun-to-play idea. Music was good and art was fine, though the graphics did flicker a lot for me. Outside of the confines of the compo, I could see you working this into an actual thing. Nice job, overall, especially for your first Dare. |
