| Apr 29 13:23:00 | i need to lie down | This game blows me away. It reminds me of feeling nauseated and anxious, and somehow manages to do that with a breathing sound effect and black scribbles. Well done. | |
| Apr 29 13:39:00 | 16m 00s | SPACE TEST 48 | This game is genius. It's rare that I want to come back to an entry and make sure I beat it. I can't seem to get past 6/9 right now, but rest assured, I WILL. <br/>Just the right amount of difficulty, and each level turns into a great "A-ha!" moment. |
| Apr 29 13:45:00 | 6m 00s | The Gallery | It was cool to see which pieces of art you chose, and fun to shoot up Voice of Fire, but I had trouble getting shots to register on the other paintings, and the camera was very jerky. |
| Apr 29 13:54:00 | 9m 00s | Glide | The music made this a pretty soothing experience. It would have been nice to cut down on the obstacles for the first 5-10 seconds of play or so to let the player get a flow going. The experience of flying felt more like the experience of crashing, over and over, since it was very easy to hit obstacles right out of the gate. Since you were trying to convey the experience of gliding, a very smooth movement, it was jarring. |
| Apr 29 14:04:00 | 10m 00s | CRAAASH | I love how much is contained in this tiny package. You have a beginning, middle, and end, a structure, puzzles, a hub area, and even a credit roll...it's like you put in juuuuuust enough of everything to make it feel like a bite-sized version of a full adventure game. |
| Apr 29 14:18:00 | 14m 00s | Princess Chardonnay in Bomb Kingdom | The types of things you can do with the bombs are really interesting in this game. As early as level 3 you have complicated, several-step solutions involving using bombs as platforms, knocking bombs into other bombs and so forth. Definitely a fun concept. |
| Apr 29 14:30:00 | 12m 00s | TrackSurfer | This is simple, fun, and beautiful. Amazing job. |
| Apr 29 14:40:00 | 10m 00s | Be Still | An idea so simple, yet so brilliant, I wish I had thought of it myself. |
| Apr 30 05:36:00 | 14h 56m | Kipple | I loved the quotes scattered around the game. Would enjoy seeing a post-compo version that contained the stuff you were hoping to finish. |
| Apr 30 10:07:00 | 4h 31m | The One Road | Twice the game froze on me after fighting imps, when I had the best gear and after crossing the bridge. I never heard any sound, either. <br/>Still, it might be a browser issue for me and not a problem with the game. I enjoyed it nonetheless. |
| Apr 30 10:18:00 | 11m 00s | Get Rid of Shit! | Cute idea for a game. I wish the difficulty picked up a bit more quickly. I was spawning two or more levels at once because doing each one by one was a little tedious. |
| Apr 30 10:31:00 | 13m 00s | Moonshine | This game is atmospheric as hell. Lovely. |
| Apr 30 10:45:00 | 14m 00s | Perfection Achieved | Any chance of a resizeable window or smaller resolution? The resolution is too big for my puny monitor and I can't resize it. The DONE button is impossible for me to click, as it is. It seems like an awesome game, but unplayable for me as it is. |
| Apr 30 13:48:00 | 3h 03m | Too Small | This was delightful. I wish there were more levels that I could play! <br/>Maybe a bug: When I grabbed a pill near a wall, sometimes I would kind of hang there and couldn't move parallel to the wall until I moved clear of it. |
| Apr 30 13:52:00 | 4m 00s | Shrink Shift | I love the concept, but the movement was way too slow for my tastes. |
| Apr 30 13:59:00 | 7m 00s | This One | The framerate plummets as soon as I move and makes the game unplayable. :/ |
| May 1 00:50:00 | 10h 51m | A thing about nothingness | I'm going to keep coming back to this one until I win! Awesome game. |
| May 1 00:52:00 | 2m 00s | Blank Slate | "RPGVXAce RTP is required to run this game." <br/>I thought the RTP was included? |
| May 1 00:56:00 | 4m 00s | 48 Hours? How about 48 seconds. | The only thing I would have added was something to keep the window open to view the endings, for people who don;t run it from the command line. Clever idea. |
| May 1 14:24:00 | 13h 28m | Six Steps | "System Error: The program can't start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." <br/>Trying to play on Windows 7. Seems like an essential file is missing? |
| May 1 14:41:00 | 17m 00s | LOOP | The mood in this is wonderful. You got all the little details right, like approaching something to perch on it. This feels good to play. <br/> <br/>The night sky background was glitching for me, but other than that, it was gorgeous. |
| May 1 15:02:00 | 21m 00s | Psychodelic Disco Maze | Ow, my eyes. <br/>I like the idea of obstacles you can only see some of the time, but I can't play this for long without getting a headache. |
| May 1 15:08:00 | 6m 00s | Web of Despair | "Unexpected error occurred while running the game." <br/>I get that message when I try to run, no other details available. <br/>I'm on Windows 7. |
| May 1 15:10:00 | 2m 00s | Guru | The game crashes as soon as I try to launch it. I'm running Windows 7 and not quite sure what's wrong. |
| May 1 15:28:00 | 18m 00s | COLORUS | Neat concept! The graphics are very clean and the style is perfect. <br/>I wish it were more difficult, or got more difficult faster. |
| May 1 15:34:00 | 6m 00s | Mini Wars | It's a shame this one didn't get a bit further along. I love sidescrolling RTS games. |
| May 1 15:36:00 | 2m 00s | Fade | I wish this lasted a bit longer. The concept was neat but because it was so short and easy, strategy never came into play. |
| May 2 02:24:00 | 10h 48m | Y.A.H.G (G for Game) | What a unique presentation for a set of timed puzzles! <br/>Jockeying the volume while dodging spikes and listening for clues was a neat experience. |
| May 2 02:38:00 | 14m 00s | A Scholar In The Woods | The walking speed for the girl was irritatingly slow. <br/> <br/>Other than that, this was neat. I liked the narration at the bottom of the screen. |
| May 2 03:15:00 | 37m 00s | Mondrian Click | This is a really great way to interpret the theme. You can see how it was inspired by the art without mimicking the art itself. |
| May 2 03:30:00 | 15m 00s | Iceberg Explorer | I got an error message when trying to run on Windows 7: <br/>"Lamiae fatal error: Large texture support is required!" <br/>Doesn't seem to point to a file I'm missing, so I don't know what to do. |
| May 2 13:41:00 | 10h 11m | Minimalismizer | The movement and jumping felt a bit mechanical, but the whimsical graphics were cute. |
| May 2 14:09:00 | 28m 00s | Boximalism | I love how subtle this game is. The feedback each box gives back is perfect, especially the audio. |
| May 2 14:14:00 | 5m 00s | Wizbo Chambers | Some feedback on when enemies were hit would have been nice. I left and reentered rooms several times looking for things I could kill before realizing it would take a number of shots to destroy the volcanos and so forth. |
| May 2 14:17:00 | 3m 00s | Cpt. Sqrjaw | You got the graphics to bounce and loll perfectly, especially the soldier movement. It made the whole thing feel very playful. |
| May 2 14:26:00 | 9m 00s | X-Ninja | I loved the idea, but sometimes it required some awkward shooting, especially right on landing from a jump. <br/> <br/>Kudos for making it go right-to-left instead of left-to-right! |
| May 3 00:43:00 | 10h 17m | QbQbQb | This is really lovely. <br/> <br/>Possible bug: Sometimes one or two of the stacks seemed to jump around a bit as I rotated it. |
| May 3 00:53:00 | 10m 00s | MinimalFive | There's a nice message here about game development, plus it was funny and the games were creative. <br/> <br/>Still, the second game didn't work for me. After clearing all the shapes, it wouldn't let me advance to the next stage, just kept replaying the second game over and over. |
| May 3 00:59:00 | 6m 00s | BASHLAND - Breakout Mario Mashup | I think a few different directions to the levels would have been nice. It seemed like even if I hit bricks on the side, I would still move forward, instead of bouncing back like I expected to. If the bouncing mechanic were refined a bit, levels could go vertical as well as horizontal. |
| May 4 13:34:00 | 36h 35m | SPACEd out | I love how self-explanatory this game is. The mechanics instantly make sense, without any tutorials, demonstrations or read me files. |
| May 4 13:39:00 | 5m 00s | Compositions | The concept is nice, but the game feels very short, probably because after completing a level it pulls you back to the title screen. Even just starting a new level after completing the first would make the game feel longer and more fleshed out. I know clicking the play button again doesn't take much effort, but how many people stopped after they won and were served with the title screen again? |
| May 5 14:24:00 | 24h 45m | Hito | I love games that convey movement like this. I wish that the jump would be just a little higher, though, so there wasn't as much jumping and hitting the edges of platforms, only to fall down and die. <br/>The difficulty of this game should come from bad planning, not from failing jumps that seem perfectly reachable. |
| May 6 00:58:00 | 10h 34m | But... I can't draw anything! | There were a few bugs in it, but it managed to create a pretty good impression of brush painting, right down to swirling your mouse cursor to pick up paint. <br/>After comparing resemblance, the image disappeared. <br/>Instead of paint making transparent trail, it blends the colour with white, which is good for normal painting but bad for painting over pictures. <br/>I'm really impressed with this. Amazing job! |
| May 6 12:39:00 | 11h 41m | The Only Rocketeer | Nice atmosphere and story, but as others have said, being able to drag on the circuit puzzles would be much better. <br/> <br/>I found a bug: Clicking the Play button after the credits have rolled once when you fail a puzzle causes the screen to flicker, but nothing else happens. |
| May 8 10:21:00 | 45h 42m | Y&P | The scoring seems too random, since the spawn distance is random. My scores were 9, 11, and 31. |
| May 8 10:31:00 | 10m 00s | Save Shape Land! | A different shade of blue for the blue squares would have been nice. They were hard to see against the water. <br/>I agree with the other points, too: no life bar, no score, and not being able to move all the way down the screen detracted from the game. |
| May 8 10:44:00 | 13m 00s | To What End? | I loved that there was a commentary option. <br/>This game had a cute, yet eerie atmosphere. The colour palette was great. I enjoyed it a lot, but the walking speed is slow enough that I might not go back and beat it. |
| May 8 10:49:00 | 5m 00s | Minimum Score | I had some graphical glitching, but was able to play the game anyway. <br/>It can get tricky, and I love the trade-offs in the gameplay. Smoother controls would have been nice, I guess. |
| May 8 10:54:00 | 5m 00s | SLEEP! we have a long way to go | You put together a beautiful palette, and the audio was awesome. I did actually grow sleepy towards the end. <br/>This was wonderful. Thank you. |
| May 8 13:51:00 | 2h 57m | Minimalistic Color Labyrinth | The most unique take on a maze game I've seen so far in this LD. Nice job. |
| May 8 13:59:00 | 8m 00s | Kazimir's Revenge | I enjoyed the movement in this game. The double-jumping and firing felt really natural. <br/>Too bad there's only one level, I would have loved to tackle more paintings. |
| May 8 14:01:00 | 2m 00s | Mr. Sphere vs a Giant Potato | After I ran for a few screens, the game restarted, set me back at the beginning, and froze the controls. No potato appeared. I'm not sure why this might have happened. |
| May 8 14:11:00 | 10m 00s | Add Removal | Oh, this was an awesome idea! I got to the level with a number written out in words (#6?) before throwing in the towel. This was a lot of fun. Fantastic job. |
| May 8 14:15:00 | 4m 00s | Essence | I loved the mirrored level showing hazards on one side and health on the other. Getting the hang of collecting one and not the other was tricky. Awesome job! |
| May 9 01:47:00 | 11h 32m | The Voice Of Fire | Unrated because graphical glitching made this unplayable for me. Too bad, because it looks really awesome. |
| May 9 02:36:00 | 49m 00s | EpicQuestEssence | I wish the ghosts wouldn't get stuck on top of the princess so often. Other than that, this was a cute game. |
| May 10 11:04:00 | 32h 28m | The Minimalist | I get that there were clever solutions to each level, but the effect of solving the puzzle would have been stronger if the movement was better. Having it seem completely possible to complete a level the "normal" way would do a lot. It's easy to just get frustrated with the jumpy glitchy movement and jumping and quit. It would have been a lot more fun to play around with the levels otherwise. |
| May 12 03:27:00 | 40h 23m | Tokyo Minimaley Land | This was really something. It's a great mini-game collection, tied together by a funny idea, and the barebones graphics make it a fun guessing game: which games are inspired by which attractions at Disneyland? The controls were very intuitive, and the games were at just the right level of difficulty. Amazing job. |
| May 12 04:01:00 | 34m 00s | I Want To See Space | This was a really nice story. I liked trying to pull Red into the fantasy, encouraging him into space. Once choice said it all: "I made it" vs. "We made it." |
| May 12 04:10:00 | 9m 00s | SlapTheFish | Something about this game makes the slapping sound incredibly funny. Watching the arm ragdoll was pretty funny too. |
| May 12 04:27:00 | 17m 00s | Toastergeist | The decision to have two toasters made this game significantly better than just one. Great job. |
| May 13 10:05:00 | 29h 38m | Cubique Noire | I get no images when I play this on Windows 7, just a black screen. The sound and music run as normal and respond to the controls. |
| May 13 10:12:00 | 7m 00s | Desire | This was a really eerie game. It made me uncomfortable, in a good way. Fantastic. |
| May 13 10:22:00 | 10m 00s | LESS [Last Exit Scary Square] | The game sometimes hung up for me a little but, but that might be a problem on my end. <br/>You managed to make this pretty chilling. Well done. |
| May 13 10:30:00 | 8m 00s | Minimizing Quest | It's an interesting idea, but not pulled together too well. More levels of minimalism would have been interesting. The money thing was a bit odd, considering that you don't lose money to pay for new games. |
| May 13 11:01:00 | 31m 00s | BBB&B | Hey, this was awesome, despite being so simple. You chose your colours and sound effects well, and the difficulty scales up at the perfect rate. Great job! <br/>The only thing might be to not erase two of the same letter from the screen with one button press. |
| May 15 09:39:00 | 46h 38m | Shape World | The collision detection was a bit wonky, and the shape being a diamond didn't help that, as fun as it was to jump around as a diamond. Still, you had an impressive number of levels and a variety of level styles. Nice job. |
| May 15 12:12:00 | 2h 33m | Skater Sketcher | What a clever idea for a simple game. Nice job. |
| May 15 12:18:00 | 6m 00s | Squibble | The jumping sound effect and playful music were really great. |
| May 15 12:31:00 | 13m 00s | Super Mondria Brothers | The goal-based generation idea seems neat, but the movement was too jerky for me and gave me a headache after a few minutes. I found a blue power-up right away but never encountered any water or vertical shafts. |
| May 15 12:45:00 | 14m 00s | *Humorous Title!* | This game was an absolute blast. I played it over and over again trying different combinations of gameplay, geometry and color. That adjustment system turned a simple yet fun game into something really marvelous. Amazing job! |
| May 15 13:04:00 | 19m 00s | Back to Rainbows | This felt a bit buggy and incomplete, but you did a good job with the movement. It felt really free and natural. |
