| Apr 29 09:29:00 | Tamborine Man | I enjoyed the uniqueness of each of the puzzles. Also I somehow didn't expect to be able to bring items into the other rooms, had quite the AHA-moment :-) | |
| Apr 29 10:00:00 | 31m 00s | Jetpack Cube Man | Love me jetpacks! Graphics are cool and it runs fine on my laptop. Maybe some jetpack fuel limitation/recharge mechanics would have added some needed gameplay. |
| Apr 29 23:41:00 | 13h 41m | Minimal Force | I like the presentation but couldn't figure out the game >_< I tried 10 times but the highest score I got was when doing nothing at all (1000 points) |
| Apr 29 23:47:00 | 6m 00s | Egg Maze | I liked the pushing people around part of it :-)
Maybe I should have tried to push one of them into the sky-exit |
| Apr 29 23:54:00 | 7m 00s | Robo-Sheriff: Minimalising Crime | I liked the painted look together with the used graphics filtering and the game got easy once I started to use the double jump. It seems really hard to make 2D games in Unity is what I learned :-) |
| Apr 30 00:01:00 | 7m 00s | You Are, A Shadow | Always Hamburger! I turned out 100% goofy and 0% everything else HAHA. Diagonal movement would have been nice to have. |
| Apr 30 00:11:00 | 10m 00s | Pixel Dust (LD26) | Another vote for the undo button! Other than that I found this to be quite a unique puzzle game. |
| Apr 30 00:25:00 | 14m 00s | Your Efforts are in Vain | Really liked the audio-visual presentation. Story, online score tracking and everything, unbelievable for 48 hours, well done!
Also bonus for real game development with C++ :D |
| Apr 30 00:34:00 | 9m 00s | MiniCave | Slick presentation, love the physics-y approach to it. Wish it could be restarted even more quick as I kept dying hehe. 1380 was my highscore. |
| Apr 30 19:56:00 | 19h 22m | Antichromatic | Endboss killing me made me rage-quit :(
Extremely well done though. Played almost an hour. |
| Apr 30 20:22:00 | 26m 00s | Minimal | Couldn't figure out the level with the 3 long ones and the two boxes >_< But I love 2D physics so its cool♪ |
| Apr 30 20:26:00 | 4m 00s | Worm outbreak! | Same as wolfadex here ...
Love the filesize of this entry though, good job :-) |
| Apr 30 20:30:00 | 4m 00s | Double Edged | I first thought the inverted areas where the player isn't visible would make it hard but I could move well. A variety of levels or maybe random platforms would have been nice. |
| Apr 30 20:33:00 | 3m 00s | Souls of the Forest | Screenshots remind me of "Black Lake" from Double Fine, which is cool, couldn't play it though as I have no XNA stuff. |
| Apr 30 20:41:00 | 8m 00s | Speed, Run! | Couldn't get over the first gap :o Yeah a background, or a further zoomed out view might help. |
| Apr 30 20:58:00 | 17m 00s | Ellsworth | Very slick presentation, WebGL well used.
Great "Minimal" Puzzle Idea, glad that there is no time limit. Wish it didn't restart at Level 1 though :-) |
| May 1 00:15:00 | 3h 17m | Invertigo! | Well made, and I'm glad it's not one-hit-kill :-) Oh, and the music ♪♪♪ |
| May 1 00:46:00 | 31m 00s | (R,G,B) | Wow, some really amazing tech powering this entry. It just looks stunning. From the intro-zoom all to the end. Also, I found the built-in editor and had some fun with that as well :D |
| May 1 04:07:00 | 3h 21m | Formless Reliquary | 466/16 is what I got I think.
I had two AHA moments, first was when I understood that the level shown was the next one not the one I just failed, and the second one I leave others to figure out themselves :-)
Pretty awesome simplistic. I liked it.
I saw you mentioned it in the description, weird that the EXE version somehow uses the wrong aspect ratio. Ran at 4:3 here which cuts off sides which makes it harder but it was playable. |
| May 1 04:37:00 | 30m 00s | Rect | I won! It said so \o/
I'm quite fond of the idea of a game that changes its visual look reminiscing different style of the Atari age of gaming. At least that's what it looked to me, well done :-)
Would have been nice if the game recognized fail-state itself. |
| May 1 18:06:00 | 13h 29m | Twitch 21 | Kinda relaxing :-)
Some bleep chip sounds would have made it complete I think. |
| May 1 18:36:00 | 30m 00s | Minimalistic Life | Nice game version of the not-really-a-game Conway's Game of Life :-) I liked the visuals with the zoomed in view having borders and the generated sounds based on the ongoing movement.
Dragging each Pixel out was a bit tedious though. But just drawing on the field would probably make it too easy. |
| May 1 18:52:00 | 16m 00s | Milton | Really nice idea fitting the theme oh so well!
Nice graphics with cool lightning effects. Too bad there's no sound.

At first I didn't realize that the torches need to hold for 12 levels, so I had to do the last two without any - But I saved Milton in the end! :-) |
| May 1 19:02:00 | 10m 00s | MSG - Match Set Game | I'm not up-to-date on my Match-3 game news, but having 2 types of matches seems innovative to me! Great idea!
No time pressure was welcome, made it through the SEXY difficulty with ease :) |
| May 1 19:07:00 | 5m 00s | Minimal | It seems you made this using Linux, which only adds to the quirky awesomeness :-) Well done in assembly, it is inspiring me to try something like this one day. Very interesting. |
| May 1 20:09:00 | 1h 02m | Timining 1D | Took me way to long but I finally built the crown!
I know it is supposed to be minimal, but an inventory listing and something like a 1pixel height map overview would have been very welcome >_<
Still a great game! Goes well with a podcast :-) |
| May 1 21:54:00 | 1h 45m | Grand Theft Minimal | Amazing tech demo there. Looks like the start of a great game!
The AI is perfect already, just as dumb as in GTA :-) |
| May 2 05:43:00 | 7h 49m | Planes | Captures the look and feel of a Game&Watch game very well. Cool idea for this theme! Got 2640 Points in Mode 1 and I think I made the game crash in Mode 2 by shooting too much :-) |
| May 2 05:53:00 | 10m 00s | dodge the atom | After 500 points it got quite fast and I jumped into the flying atom at 600. I liked the movement and jump with air control. Well done for a first minimalistic game :-)
PS: I found and clicked the potato button but nothing happened I think |
| May 2 06:44:00 | 51m 00s | Detour | Wow amazed at how much is in this game. It's very well made and all the systems feel very complete.
The start was a bit rough as I didn't get to the fusion torch and made me freeze the first night. I had to look at the guide to proceed :-)
Sometimes I wanted to know what a certain symbol means, Nethacks ; command or mouse click examination would have been nice.
Other than that I'm really impressed by this entry! |
| May 2 07:00:00 | 16m 00s | Runaway Money | Well rounded entry complete with assignable controls nicely done. Like the smooth UI overall. Game itself reminded me a lot of this years "Dollar Dash" but with the unique invisibility twist.
Bonus for real game development (C++) :-) |
| May 2 07:06:00 | 6m 00s | Flashing Hands | This is quite cool! Has a rhythm game feel to it which I like. First win with only two keys but then made some effort to beat the enemy with 3 keys. Very satisfying! |
| May 2 07:27:00 | 21m 00s | Crated | Level 4 was quite tricky but I finally got the timing right.
I couldn't select blocks in the editor with the mouse wheel and was only able to place blocks (WinXP, Java 1.7).
Being able to save mid level is maybe excessive but together with the level editor it feels very complete. |
| May 2 07:48:00 | 21m 00s | Tokyo Minimaley Land | A Mini-Game collection! Very minimalistic :-) Liked the train one the most. Had to beat it twice because I had no sound in SeaMonkey browser at first then played with Chrome. The ending music was the best so it was worth it :-)
Wish I could have come out to Jam with you guys in Kichijoji but I had no free minute, next time maybe! |
| May 2 17:29:00 | 9h 41m | Squeeps | Cute well made game. Fits the theme well especially with the simple controls and no on-screen UI. Good design overall!
I survived 16:16 on my first try :-) |
| May 2 17:34:00 | 5m 00s | Desaturation | Gray screen issue on WinXP 32 Bit and straight crash "Desaturation.exe has stopped working" on Win8 64 Bit... |
| May 2 18:02:00 | 28m 00s | Balls! | Stunning presentation! Unity very well used!
Loved the button/elevator level and the final downhill level the most :-) |
| May 2 18:06:00 | 4m 00s | H48SJ4, the MINIMIZING robot | Not sure why there is collision for the shots but not for the robot itself.
Here it didn't show the mystery yellow number in the lower right from the screenshot. Maybe it's debug info :-)
Anyway, props for real C++ gamedev, good start! |
| May 2 18:15:00 | 9m 00s | HELPME_ | Very funny interpretation of the them :-) |
| May 2 18:24:00 | 9m 00s | Minimalism shooter | I think there's much to appreciate here. Random level generator, an AI that moves and peruses the player in some ways, collision and destroying of enemies.
If there were just an enemy counter and a YOU WIN screen when all enemies are dead it would have been a very decent entry in my opinion.
Also having a single EXE file with no dependencies is really nice to have. Bonus for real C++ game development! |
| May 2 18:43:00 | 19m 00s | Skware | BEST TIME: 22.9 \o/
Hated it first, loved it in the end, awesome :D
BEST TIME: 14.9!! \o/ |
| May 2 18:54:00 | 11m 00s | 8-Bit? 4-Bit! | Was eager to find out was the next graphical de-evolution was going to be. Liked that aspect a lot.
I feel your pain with collision issues. It's hard... But maybe allowing restarts of each level instead of the entire game would have been better, so more people could have seen all the styles. |
| May 2 19:14:00 | 20m 00s | Coder | Hilarious! Loved the sounds and Finger UI transitions :-)
Both modes were quite hard but a very fun and interesting twist on an old (but still awesome) game idea! |
| May 2 20:10:00 | 56m 00s | Rebellion: Resistance of Complacency | Love love the music! I remember leaving this open for a while in the background just for the music when you posted a build on IRC during the compo :-)
Though, as much as I like them, I still suck at bullet-hell shooters... Couldn't get very far :-(
Bonus for real game development (C++) :-) |
| May 2 20:18:00 | 8m 00s | Left To Right | Very simple but runs well :-)
My highscore was 23 - Which might be the maximum as the random blocks were all floating in the air.
A tad less randomness for the blocks could have been quite cool. But I know how hard it is to make randomness well playable... |
| May 2 20:27:00 | 9m 00s | WAY. | Really cool idea for a music game!
Nice presentation as well, overall a very pleasant look.
The game seems to block wild spamming on the keys, clever and well done! |
| May 2 20:36:00 | 9m 00s | SQUARE TRIANGLE CIRCLE | Scored 267767. Very fun unique little game.
Someone suggested putting this out on smartphone, DO IT! Maybe reverse the direction (down to up) so it can be easily played with a thumb on a touch screen. |
| May 2 20:50:00 | 14m 00s | Mingineer | Fun little toybox. Runs very stable and the infinite world seems well coded. Sadly no source to check out :-(
Definitely seems inspired by Starseed Pilgrim, if not, quite a fun coincidence :-) Hope you find some way to add gameplay into the sandbox, good luck! |
| May 2 21:08:00 | 18m 00s | Contact: Lost | I ran until it was purple and then died and the only thing I crafted in my life was a potato /o\
The crafting system seems interesting but I had no idea how to use it or if I even should use it until the end. Maybe I could have built a better weapon to beat the green or purple triangles? |
| May 3 00:04:00 | 2h 56m | My Mini Castle | Wow this game is really well polished. Everything has some animation and some effect going for it adding to an overall very good experience. Also nice to have an actual achievable ending.
A bit too much meme-heavy on the humor for my taste, but everything else is perfect. |
| May 4 05:03:00 | 28h 59m | ... | Cool little switch puzzle game, good music!
I liked the relevance of the timing of the button presses to make the last few levels easier. |
| May 4 06:01:00 | 58m 00s | ProductionVille | Woo just made it over 10k, 10229$ is my final money.
Just saw it wasn't winnable in the original submission which is a bummer, but it's pretty good now. Quite ambitious entry, very well done! |
| May 4 06:06:00 | 5m 00s | Pete Hated Circles | Pretty good qix clone, the transitions are what made it! |
| May 4 06:13:00 | 7m 00s | Arena | Very cool style look and sounds.
Dodging my own bullets was a bit annoying but the controls were easy to get used to. |
| May 4 06:49:00 | 36m 00s | IIII | Fun game, checked this out because of its 10s movie thingy :-)
Played until 165673 but due to lack of any challenge stopped. Increasing speed or something would have been nice. Looks pretty cool nevertheless. |
| May 4 07:08:00 | 19m 00s | Barren Universe | Somehow found the city level to be easier than the volcano :-) I ran out of time twice in the volcano.
Anyway, really well polished game. It's another one of those "how was this done in 48 hours??" entry for me :-) Really cool music, couldn't believe there was another tune for the city level. |
| May 4 13:09:00 | 6h 01m | Six Steps | It's a fun unique puzzle idea, I liked the little tiny bit of some platforming mixed in. I assume with more time a lot of interesting mind bending puzzle levels could be made. For now it shows off its ideas quite well. |
| May 7 07:15:00 | 66h 06m | end | Very simple and relaxing. Involved a bit too much waiting for platforms :-) |
