| Aug 30 03:01:00 | 5m 00s | Vicariously | I agree with the above comment about auto-generated names, I had to go to the jargon file to find out what comes after garply. :) |
| Aug 30 03:08:00 | 7m 00s | Selection | Fun. <br/> <br/>Had to restart a few times since the red team starting kicking my butt before I figured out what to do. <br/> <br/>Though as far as I could tell you need to Ctrl-C to kill the window; you might want to add a window close listener or map some key commands to quit. |
| Aug 30 03:14:00 | 6m 00s | Evolve 'em all | Music was cool, very nice bass. Death was a little abrupt though, a moment to let it sink in would be nice. |
| Aug 30 03:26:00 | 12m 00s | 2052 | Oh, how can I not Weaponize the dustbin? |
| Aug 30 03:32:00 | 6m 00s | Super Charles Darwin | Hard one, nice Wilhelm! |
| Sep 4 03:05:00 | 119h 33m | AvRvE | Very cool, would just recommend swapping the move on and restart buttons. The first time I played I skipped a few levels before I realized that was what was happening. |
| Sep 4 03:47:00 | 42m 00s | Young Earth Road Trip | Was I the only one who clicked one million times before getting that damn kitten? |
| Sep 4 04:01:00 | 14m 00s | Those Stupid Aliens | Thought this was pretty fun. I wasn't really aware of the aliens evolving over time though, just seemed like there were more of them as the level increased. |
| Sep 4 04:12:00 | 11m 00s | Involucion | Great idea, I enjoyed this. <br/> <br/>And waste marching across the screen is very cute. |
| Sep 4 04:22:00 | 10m 00s | Life Will Find A Way | Not sure how to get this to run, but wanted to say that the graphic style in the title and the sprites in the screenshot are very cool. |
| Sep 4 04:33:00 | 11m 00s | We Just Got Serious | Maybe the poop should leave streaks . . . |
| Sep 4 04:55:00 | 22m 00s | Nom's Evolvathlon | Cool, nice sprite animations. |
| Sep 4 05:20:00 | 25m 00s | Darwinphony | Nicely done. <br/> <br/>While I discovered some real nice musical patterns they were always just a bit off. <br/> <br/>I've done something similar to this before, using the physics of dropped balls, and I think the problem is that those curves just don't generate very musical intervals. I wonder how hard it would be to quantize a gravity simulation, or perhaps provide a quantized grid the triggers might be locked to if so desired. |
| Sep 4 05:26:00 | 6m 00s | Evolution Stew | I liked throwing the cats. |
| Sep 13 03:22:00 | 213h 56m | The house | Nice sprites, nice use of sound effects. <br/> <br/> <br/>Just a note, for those who want to use the TheHousePost.jar file linked as a post-compo version, you'll need to <br/> <br/>$ java -classpath TheHousePost.jar se.dalsit.main.GameComponent <br/> <br/>because <br/> <br/>$ java -jar TheHousePost.jar <br/>Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from <br/>TheHousePost.jar <br/> <br/>will not work. Devs, see e.g. <br/> <br/>http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/deployment/jar/appman.html |
| Sep 13 03:29:00 | 7m 00s | Mutate Now! | Liked this one a lot, cool animation style, great monkey noises. |
| Sep 13 03:34:00 | 5m 00s | The Plane of Evolution | Liked the shooting mechanism, and yeah, it's pretty hard. |
| Sep 13 03:45:00 | 11m 00s | Super Darwin | Nice theme, very nice sprite art and decorations. So many narrow tunnels reminded me of Kid Icarus on NES, which is a compliment. <br/> <br/>Would it possible to scale the game up to 2x or 4x pixel size? I must be getting old, and all these web games with small windows. :) |
| Sep 13 03:58:00 | 13m 00s | kinetic dream | Holy cow, I liked this one. Graphic style was great. Music was nice but a bit off mood, and the game play could just use some tweaking to make it perfect (e.g. wish the player could shoot faster). |
| Sep 13 04:18:00 | 20m 00s | EvoCube: Epoch Victorious | Very fun, got stuck/gave up at level 8. |
| Sep 13 04:25:00 | 7m 00s | Combine And Conquer | Like the animal hybrids, nice idea. More feedback on attack success would be helpful. |
| Sep 13 04:35:00 | 10m 00s | R/evolution | Ever level I would curse and say it can't be done, then somehow I would make it. Well done on all fronts. |
| Sep 13 04:44:00 | 9m 00s | EvoWord | Great theme, works fine for me now on OSX 10.6, 10.7. |
| Sep 13 04:55:00 | 11m 00s | Evolvsion | Really liked the character sprite from the first level, then he/she/it went away! Not sure what was going on with that monkey. |
| Sep 13 05:03:00 | 8m 00s | Gems of the Evolving Land | Wow, big map, mature game idea. And I like the what looks to be hand-drawn art. |
