Dec 19 20:29:00 Splaser Strife I enjoyed the game quite a bit. The graphics are great and the sound enhances the mood.

I'd like the game as a whole a little better if there were autofire and you saw points appear where you destroyed a ship. I was focused on the enemies, so I never looked at the score until I was between levels.

It would also fit my skill better if I restarted at the beginning of the wave where I died. :)
Dec 19 20:57:00 28m 00s Farrokh I enjoyed the game quite a bit and the graphics are frankly amazing. I like the little touches, like the fact that the level loops around and that the obstacles have a sound that appears slightly before they show up.

I don't think I'd play for too long, but there's enough gameplay for a couple of play-throughs.

Great job!
Dec 19 21:41:00 44m 00s Split Party! I love it! My favorite so far. There's obviously more that could be added (extra levels, scoring, etc.) but what's there is perfect.
Dec 20 14:36:00 16h 55m Abandoned A good game, especially given the time constraints. The art is great. I especially love the guys floating in tanks in the background. I found the controls really frustrating until I figured out that you grapple in whichever direction you last pressed (I might have missed a screen) and that grappling while holding a crate throws it forward (I kept expecting to grapple out from under it, dropping it).
Dec 20 14:46:00 10m 00s Shadow Glow I like the concepts, but I think it would improve a lot with some extra time. I thoroughly enjoyed lighting up the white cubes and I thought the level design worked quite well. Sometimes I got too close to something and my flashlight would shine through the other side, which made it hard to tell that I was actually up against a boundary. I think it needs some extra conflict to make it a little more exciting. For example, if ghosts started getting used to the light unless you recharged it at a white cube.
Dec 20 15:11:00 25m 00s Last breath I really wanted to like this game, but it was just too frustrating (even with the easy mode). The graphics are great and the controls are tight, but since I couldn't explore the area with the balls ahead of time, I kept dying while I figured out which order to go in. It was also really hard to see the shadow dog to know how much time I had, since it was black on black most of the time.

Still, with some tweaking, I think it could be a great game. And I'd love to find out how the story ends.
Dec 22 02:05:00 34h 54m The Lone Adventurer This is a great-looking game and the sound is enjoyable, although a bit repetitive. The slow falling took a while to get used to and it was often annoying to have to backtrack to get one missed coin to finish out the level. Fixing the jump mechanic and only requiring 75% of the coins to clear a level would go a long way towards improving it!
Dec 22 02:11:00 6m 00s kuudou I like the concept a lot, and the graphics are well-done, especially the player animation. Unfortunately, the game is too short to really explore the concept and it's frustrating at the beginning when you're figuring the game out.
Dec 22 02:16:00 5m 00s I Fly Alone The snow was great and the sound really helped the feel of being alone in a blizzard. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing, since gathering the dots didn't seem to do anything and when my hunger got to zero the game seemed to reset. With a little more explanation, though, it could be a fun diversion.
Dec 22 04:09:00 1h 53m The Word Alone Great concept and it really fits the theme. My only serious critique is that it took me several confusing games to figure out how to play. Clearer directions or a play example would be nice to add if you continue development after the jam.
Dec 22 19:13:00 15h 04m Midas This is a great game and one of my favorites. The gameplay and the story tie together very well and the puzzles were thought-provoking but not annoying. The sound effects work well. I ran into one annoying bug where hitting R before falling to death would restart the level twice.

I hope you continue development and add some music and character animation!

Great job!
Dec 23 03:11:00 7h 58m Cat Match A very good first effort. The little story elements in-between levels were very cool. I wasn't sure what it took to get to the next level, though.
Dec 23 03:30:00 19m 00s I'm Where? The graphics are quite good and the sound, while simple, fits the game. I like the concept and the empty buildings gave a great feeling of emptiness and curiosity. I would have liked to know what I was supposed to be doing and the game ended pretty abruptly, but I expect those comments can be fixed with more time. Good job!
Dec 23 03:38:00 8m 00s The End The graphics are very nice and the sound is good. I love the concept of the ghosts leading you to their bodies, but I did get lost after the first one.
Dec 23 03:50:00 12m 00s Hikikomori Manager 2012 The graphics are appropriate (although the UI could be polished) and the sounds are quite good. It wasn't clear enough to me what each of the options did, but I enjoyed trying out different things for a while.
Jan 8 17:09:00 397h 19m People An interesting concept that works pretty well. I'll second the call for an explicit 'Enter' key on the passcode. Overall, a great first attempt!
Jan 8 17:13:00 4m 00s 10,000 Space Leagues from Delta Station The intro definitely makes the game! It would have been nice to see the asteroids from further away, maybe with arrows along the side of the screen.
Jan 8 22:07:00 4h 54m Space Station 1: No Program This is a great concept that doesn't quite come together. I liked the changing moods a lot, but I think it would have heightened interest if there were some other constraint (for example, a time limit before some external force comes and rescues everyone). I also had a random crash after about 50 turns.
Jan 8 22:14:00 7m 00s Sinkhole The graphics are quite good and the monsters are great. I love how you never actually see them. Unfortunately, after wandering around for a while, it started feeling very same-y. And then I was killed when a monster spawned on top of me.

Still, very atmospheric.
Jan 8 22:21:00 7m 00s Last Stand The music is quite nice (since it sounds very synth, I imagine that it's what the robots are listening to) and the gameplay is good. It could use something to keep the game interesting for longer, though. Possibly an upgrade system or robots with new techniques that require you to find new strategies. Like several others, I found that I could just run around in circles until I was overwhelmed.

Still, great effort for just 48 hours!
Jan 8 22:33:00 12m 00s EpiCat For a 48-hour game, this is pretty good. The sound effects add a lot even though the shooting sound gets annoying after a while. The gameplay is basic and would have been improved with some power-ups or some additional tension (a timer until the next cat-boss, for example). However, given the time, I was impressed at how many different ships you were able to put in.
