| Dec 17 11:15:00 | Expecting a Call | Very clever, better than my idea by a long way and actually finished :) Nice work. | |
| Dec 20 10:24:00 | 71h 09m | Aloneasaurus Rex | That's a really cool looking concept, but I'll be suprised if you get many plays on a platform like iOS :S
I'd like to play it my self but I lack the iPhone/iPod Touch. |
| Dec 20 10:57:00 | 33m 00s | The Search | Looks pretty fun, just out of interest, are you interpreting the orders manually? Or have you written a bot or something? |
| Dec 20 13:10:00 | 2h 13m | Bouncy Balls | A pretty clever idea, but the combination of physics bugs and having to start over whenever I failed a level stopped me from playing it for more than a few minutes. |
| Dec 20 13:22:00 | 12m 00s | Abandoned | A neat little game. Nice work. I do agree that it feels a little odd having to double jump every time, and I found the double jump to be really inconsistent with how high it went. Other than that though, well done. :) |
| Dec 20 13:40:00 | 18m 00s | A Weekend Alone | A smart idea, but a bit too slow for my liking. |
| Dec 20 13:49:00 | 9m 00s | Dino Pilot and The Lonely Skies | This is a pretty cool game, it would have been nicer if the ship was a little faster, then I would have felt like the hits were less my fault. Also, the big meteor at the end killed me in about 2 seconds, which was more annoying than anything else. |
| Dec 20 14:03:00 | 14m 00s | Defend yourself | I disagree with you on almost every possible level. |
| Dec 21 22:48:00 | 32h 45m | Nowhere Man | It's an interesting idea, but to be honest I didn't play it for very long. I grew some food, I looted a house, and then I sort of got bored with spending so long walking across empty screens. This has potential but it needs some serious balancing. |
| Dec 21 22:57:00 | 9m 00s | Golgafrincham | This is a pretty neat idea, but for a complete softcore gamer like me it's more or less impossible. I landed one pod before I gave up :(
Slightly less sensitive physics would be better I think. Also I found that I only needed to rotate the ship one notch in either direction at any time, and any time I went further than that was a fatal mistake, so perhaps bounding it at those points would help? |
| Dec 21 23:07:00 | 10m 00s | Alone Together | A very nice game. Well made as well. A couple of things I did note, the sense view was something of an information overload and I never actually finished the level because I realised that I would be able to do it sooner or later and that there were going to be no new or interesting challenges in the mean time. |
| Dec 21 23:11:00 | 4m 00s | ALONE! | It's a really interesting concept that I think would do well as the introduction to a larger game or something, but doesn't really stand for much alone. My only other real problem with it is that I felt like I was on rails most of the time, because I couldn't jump so there wasn't a lot of point in it being interactive rather than a video or some such. The premise has real potential thought and I hope you take it further. |
| Dec 22 17:09:00 | 17h 58m | Midas | Really fun, a great interpretation of the theme, and polished enough that I wouldn't even have thought it was a rapidly developed game if I hadn't been told. well done :) |
| Dec 23 20:13:00 | 27h 04m | Calculon's Revenge | This is really neat idea, it does fit the theme despite what you've said and there's some neat concepts in there.
A few things that would have been nice would be knowing how much health the bosses had left and making their physics a touch more reliable. That and a bit of balancing and you've got something I'd really enjoy sinking some time into.
Well done. |
| Dec 24 13:26:00 | 17h 13m | Alone | I was able to run this on linux, but I didn't really find it that interesting. It was taking me to long to do things like move around, and I began to feel like there were just too many things for me to do them all. It has potential I think, just not for a softy gamer like me. |
| Dec 24 13:32:00 | 6m 00s | robot friends | This is a really interesting concept, but once I realised what I had to do to win the level, I couldn't really be bothered to do it. I think a few more levels and something of a difficulty curve would help here.
Are you planning on a post-LD?
(Also it's conventional to give linux executables no extention, definitely not a .exe) |
| Dec 24 14:01:00 | 29m 00s | Alone Game | I couldn't even download the game... Both chromium and wget complained about the link not existing.

└┼─$─┤▶wget http://fury.srb2.org/ld22/alonegame.jar
--2011-12-24 14:01:31-- http://fury.srb2.org/ld22/alonegame.jar
Resolving fury.srb2.org... failed: Name or service not known.
wget: unable to resolve host address `fury.srb2.org' |
| Dec 24 17:25:00 | 3h 24m | A Room of One's Own | A nice idea, but without really anyway to actually lose there wasn't much to worry about. I did try and make a linux executable for you but I failed a bit... |

| Dec 24 17:34:00 | 7m 00s | No Longer Alone | What format is the game? I downloaded the linux version and it's a .exe so I'm not sure exactly how I'm meant to play the game. |
| Dec 29 15:22:00 | 117h 48m | Barriers | Page won't load for me in chrome :( |
| Dec 30 10:01:00 | 18h 39m | The Last Shadow | Absurdly, I couldn't move at all. Was able to click and absorb stuff on screen, but not move at all. |
| Dec 30 10:13:00 | 12m 00s | Oases | This is a cool idea, but there's WiFi available more or less everywhere in my house (though irritatingly, my wifi isn't available everywhere in my house...), so I couldn't really play it properly. It would have been neat to allow the user to cheat by turning off their WiFi, since it lets people play around with it without having to go out of their way to much. |
| Dec 30 22:06:00 | 11h 53m | Lonely Space Marshal | Not sure what's wrong, but it immediately tells me that I've died, and to press the action key to continue. After some random key mashing, hitting the space bar makes it go black, then fade to red and tell me I've died again. It doesn't really stop...
Ubuntu. Oracle JRE, not OpenJDK.
Thanks |
| Dec 31 15:21:00 | 17h 15m | AngryMisshapedGuyThing | I couldn't really play the game. I'm not sure why but the flash plugin on my computer refuses to capture Ctrl key presses, so I just walked around as I got killed :) |
