| Dec 19 11:57:00 | And then, alone at Epsilon-1 | ok, I'm a dummy. How do you do hack the terminals? I got a couple open somehow by random, but can't get any of the triple set open. | |
| Dec 19 13:28:00 | 1h 31m | One Final Trek | I really like the look of this. The fixed-length jump seemed odd at first but I quite like it - it helps when you can tell exactly where you will land. I could not get past the monster though. |
| Dec 19 14:05:00 | 37m 00s | Erased | Could not get past first enemy, I think you need more directions on how to play. When the fight starts he just blasts me a few times really quick and I'm dead. Nothing I do seems to attack him.
I like the random generation. |
| Dec 19 14:17:00 | 12m 00s | Only You Can Save The World | Nice feel, cute graphics. I really like the puzzles too. After the first couple of levels I was thinking I was going to immensely enjoy this one.
However at about the fourth level there is a very long extending platform which you need to rush up to get on - I could not get past that one. Knowing what you need to do but not being able to is a bit frustrating, I would really like to play further. |
| Dec 19 14:47:00 | 30m 00s | There Can Only Be Static | Wow! Well balanced, good learning curve, simple and fun! Best one I've seen yet, well done! |
| Dec 19 15:05:00 | 18m 00s | Never Alone Hotline | A few real LOLs here, nice work! |
| Dec 19 15:17:00 | 12m 00s | Trapped | Awesome looking game. Maybe it could be a bit clearer which way the lever on the pedestal is supposed to be moved (seems like it needed to be pushed away than pulled on. |
| Dec 19 15:26:00 | 9m 00s | Lonely Dungeon | I think the player needs to be able to move faster, and have some clear goal to work towards. |
| Dec 19 16:05:00 | 39m 00s | One Of A Kind | The linux download file seems to be invalid, says it's not a gzip format file. Windows works great though.
As suggested already, it could use a bit more variety of level layouts. |
| Dec 19 16:19:00 | 14m 00s | Dr. Autofober's Experiment | Neat idea. I think it needs to be slightly (just slightly) slower paced. A couple more levels would be good too. |
| Dec 19 16:29:00 | 10m 00s | In search of a Cave | This is kinda fun for a speed run once you know the level.
It would be good if the enemies were a bit more aggressive. |
| Dec 19 16:55:00 | 26m 00s | Lava Kittens | a.out? lol :)
Come on now, calling it 'awful' is a bit extreme - I quite enjoyed it! Good going for only half the time. |
| Dec 19 17:46:00 | 51m 00s | The Word Alone | I can see myself coming back to this again and again. |
| Dec 20 11:08:00 | 17h 22m | ToastCat | Yeah this would be awesome as an iPhone-type game! I really enjoyed it, would probably pay for it in app store etc. |
| Dec 20 11:30:00 | 22m 00s | They Hunger | Awesome, you get my first 5 for 'fun'. Was it supposed to start off slow and then get fast, or is that something funny with my PC? It's really cool when fast, and once I realized I could hold down the mouse to continuously fire :) |
| Dec 20 11:50:00 | 20m 00s | Chromboid | Beautiful! It would be good if there was a bit more to interact with (besides the story-developing messages I mean). |
| Dec 20 12:06:00 | 16m 00s | Alone in My Head | This is a neat concept. I would like to play a bit more but cant figure out how to progress - I'm pretty sure I killed all the shadows and there are chunks flying around everywhere. Huge stones are falling from the sky but it doesnt seem like there is anywhere to go. |
| Dec 20 14:37:00 | 2h 31m | Gloaming | Download link doesn't seem to be working :/ |
| Dec 21 15:03:00 | 24h 26m | Alone in the War | This desperately needs some instructions. |
| Dec 21 15:39:00 | 36m 00s | Friends | Those guys don't react when I walk into them.... is that right? |
| Dec 21 16:58:00 | 1h 19m | The Lonely Alien | cool... so what were you on at the time? :D Well done on the music. |
| Dec 21 17:37:00 | 39m 00s | Solitas Exodae | I love the movement and control feel. Would be good to see this one extended in future! |
| Dec 21 17:53:00 | 16m 00s | Alone in the Gloom | for us dum-dums who are stuck in the third room... any hint? |
| Dec 22 17:18:00 | 23h 25m | Alone on a raid | I managed to build and run this on my iPod touch pretty easily. It's a good start, but needs more gameplay :) It took me a while to realise I could kill those guys instead of running away like a chicken. I got VICTORY ^.^b |
| Dec 22 17:25:00 | 7m 00s | Alone in Translation | Interesting. I was surprised at how long I played it for :) I think the audio was a major component. |
| Dec 23 06:52:00 | 13h 27m | robot friends | Awesome idea. I think it could quickly become quite difficult for the average human to manage though :)
I won... is it just the one level?

To clarify for others, when you touch a block from the top nothing happens, but when you touch them from the side they become active. While they are active you can control them, and the timing of your key presses will be recorded, until they bump against something else, then control goes back to your little man. You can record a different sequence of controls for each block. To play the sequence you then touch the green button on the left. Hint - to get on top of a block you'll have to leave a pause at the beginning of the sequence to give you enough time to get from the green button over to the block and get on top.

I think it would be better if the little man did not slide off the blocks so easily when they move left/right. |
| Dec 23 07:17:00 | 25m 00s | Lone Escape | Nice job. Want more :) |
| Dec 23 07:34:00 | 17m 00s | Into the Dark for You | After eating too much candy, your difficult-teen-years kid smashes the precious family heirloom mirror and takes of into the woods. You take off in pursuit but the short day time makes things really hard to see at night, so unless you have a good memory you may find yourself running out of the extremely short-lived puff-lights very soon, and then writing silly stories in the game comments while waiting for sun-up. Eventually though you will find that little rascal and send him to his room with no supper.
Nice work! |
| Dec 23 07:42:00 | 8m 00s | Teddies | Excellent concept. You should expand this for sure. |
| Dec 23 07:44:00 | 2m 00s | Leave Me Alone | I have XNA installed to rate some other games and it was going ok, but with this one I get "ld22 has stopped working" |
| Dec 23 07:54:00 | 10m 00s | Shadow | @spiral yes indeed... brutal! :D
I think if the scenes were scrolling up rather than on separate screens it would help.
The controls are nice and responsive and the simple audio cues help a lot to get timings right. I think if you could arrange it so it needed a bit more thought and was slower-paced rather than this fixed speed and 'on rails' it would be awesome. |
| Dec 23 07:57:00 | 3m 00s | DiggyDig | oh noes... not working for me on Win7 |
| Dec 23 08:18:00 | 21m 00s | Tarassis | I would like to try this and I started setting up the necessary python stuff but found it a lot of work to get the Box2D component in, I would need MinGW etc. Is there any chance you could build a standalone... or just a youtube video would be cool. Thx. |
| Dec 23 08:28:00 | 10m 00s | Busy King | That's really fun. At first it seemed like the subjects could find me too easily, but once you notice that you can hide in the colored rooms, it's about right. |
| Dec 24 23:41:00 | 39h 13m | Abandoned | Very nice. I found the placement of the ground and the lights played a big part in determining the fun factor. This would be really awesome with some less random levels. |
| Dec 24 23:56:00 | 15m 00s | kuudou | Nice controls, and good idea! |
| Dec 25 10:03:00 | 10h 07m | Nyan Nyan Stack | Very well done, nice idea too. I'm stuck right at the beginning of lvl3 though... |
| Dec 25 10:13:00 | 10m 00s | The Last Geek | Wow, that is a really solid game. If you can do this in 48 hours and you're not earning a living from making games, you should be!!
It was too hard for me to get very far though. |
