The postmorten tomorrow in ultrayoshi's journal.
This desperately needs some instructions.
Hi iforce2d!
Thank you for testing the game :). We didn't have enough time for including a in-game tutorial or some tips, I apologize for that. We write a post-mortem (http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2011/12/22/post-mortem-alone-in-the-war/) explaining our experience.
This is our first LD, we need more experience. Thanks for your comment!
Cool game, but as Iforce said: Tutorial on how to play?
Needs instructions, could have used a lot more work.
I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Instructions please :)
It seems you guys created a nice engine of features, but unfortunately spent too much time working on building an engine from scratch. The game shows lots of promise though, and I definitely would like to see what it could be if you guys continued working on it (if just to add instructions, as others have mentioned).
Strategy and resource management games are always interesting -- they also often tend to be complicated, so you should add some sort of manual or tutorial to your game.
There's no need to build an engine to compete in the Jam. The lack of instructions and the bad interface (mouse clicks mostly didn't register) didn't leave me with patience to try it for longer.
