Everyone who worked on this game did a great job, from the animation to the character design, everything works well together to create a fun and innovative puzzles. The level design works really well at teaching the new mechanics.
The idea is cool, it would be great to see you develop this more outside of the jam, msuic would add to it as well as maybe adding more options to allow for more interesting situations.
This game is fun! I can see it being a great game if you develop it more and add more units and levels, maybe even more mechanics.
The gameplay and graphics are great with some wacky voice lines, I like how everything is implemented and how smoothly the gameplay flows after you learn how everything works, a tutorial level would be nice to introduce everything through gameplay instead of a wall of text, but that's really the only complaint i have
Overall the game was fun! It felt smooth and clean with great sound design! I f I could add one thing to this game, I would add more weapon variety and player effects to make the game feel a bit more chaotic, still a great game as is
THe concept is cool but the gampley loop is very easy, I can see this game being more interesting if you developed it more into a tower defence game with more of an incentive to win. Overall the game is good, but adding more variety to the gameplay instead of just shocking every generator would lead to a more rewarding gameplay loop
Fun game! Sadly I encountered a bug which stopped me from being able to crouch-walk, other than that the game is great! The level design is interesting and good at introducing new mechanics to the player- I would recommend spending some more time working on graphics and audio as well as an end screen. I can see that you have a strong foundation and i'm excited to see more.
The mechanic was interesting, it's sad that it's countered by spamming the shoot button, adding a penalty for missing the shots or rewarding you more for landing without spamming would probably lead to a more complex game with a higher skill ceiling. It would also be nice if there was an option to increase the sensitivity as it is relatively low in this build.
Another thing that would be nice to focus on is graphics as just shooting cylinders on untextuerd platforms makes the game feel very unfinished, although the gameplay itself is very satisfying with the low gravity and good sound effects
It's a cool concept, it's just not perfect in practice, I wish the respawn time was a bit shorter and it was a bit clearer where you were going to land so you don't always blindly jump only to miss a platform.
Overall the game was fun, the graphics and music were great and it helped create an immersive atmostphere, some more levels to help develop the characters and introduce more mechanics would be nice though
