Great game! Good job doing the VR. I gave you points on innovation for that, even though the concept is not new. I wish I had a headset with a trigger to test it out. On web, it worked great, and although it was a bit simple, it was still a lot of fun!
Good concept. I think it's a great start to a game. I think it could have been improved with a little more initial direction, and a lot more challenge. I like that the first convo is unavoidable, but after that, you can just walk past everyone else to the exit. Maybe if they moved around a bit, and you had to dodge them, or maybe not make eye contact or something, that would have added some challenge.
Unfortunately, I don't have a VR setup with controllers :/
Great game! The only thing it was lacking was a little story pre-game. I saw it was in the description of the game, but just a simple menu or intro cutscene or something explaining the story a little bit would have been added the icing on the cake. The only other thing I wish is that it had gamepad support. I'd have loved to try that out.
Unfortunately, I don't have a game pad, so I couldn't play it. :/
Excellent game! I gave it good marks almost everything. It was a good concept, with well-written story, and good audio and visual cues. I only have a few points of feedback:
First, I had a little difficulty on the first part, because I didn't realize it was a mouse-only game, so I was trying to use up and down on my keyboard. Once I figured that out, it was okay. I actually found the first task a little difficult, but not impossible. The only improvement I would make is to maybe indicate the up and down buttons.
The second round was very good. Balancing the second task and the first was pretty fun, and the perfect level of challenge for me. No changes necessary here.
When the third task got added, I actually couldn't do it. I tried several times, but the spinning wheel makes things quite difficult, because I kept landing on the wrong spots, which caused the medicine to back up. I think leaving that as another simple button-press kind of mechanic would have made it easier, and more consistent with the first two tasks. There was just too much going on.
I assume there were two more tasks after that (judging by the two more crew members), but I couldn't make it past that task to try it.
Anyhow, great game! It's one I actually might share with some friends, and play again. Great work!
Fun game. I love the card-based room changing ability. I didn't realize they were there at first, so I ended up clearing the whole place before I swapped any, but I think it worked out. The only thing I rated low was audio, simply because the music loop was a little repetitive.
Yep, same. 404.
I look forward to trying this out if you get an OSX version
It looks like a good start to the game, but I'm not sure if the idea was fully fleshed out. I get that we're a room running around gobbling up other buildings and stuff, and I guess shooting toilets could make sense, but a little story would have helped a lot. There also wasn't a whole lot to do, except walk around eating things. Good start though!
There's no instructions on how to run the game. I see a jar file, so I assume I run this using java, but I'd like to see the command listed in the description.
Great job! The challenge steps up with each level, and it's actually pretty fun.
I'm glad you guys like it. Like I said, I had very lofty goals for it. I was hoping to add something where you'd also have to type the search into the keyboard. I was also thinking of having a few other areas, like a chemistry station where you mix chemicals to get a component, as well as a sink with stuff you had to jump over, Frogger-style, and a cabinet area above the pegboard, and a ground-pound ability that you could use to get tools to assemble the unshrink ray. I had no idea how short 72 hours was until this! >.<
