Heating plant tycoon by Hadik 2021-10-06T04:47:44Z

Wow what an ambitious jam game! Great work getting the game play done in time, there is a lot of complexity in there. It took a few restarts to get the hang of it, especially with the no removing pipes but then it opens out before you. It has great transport tycoon vibes with the way the roads build out and the music. Now that you have the core down there is a lot of scope for a more polished and forgiving UI if you decide to do a post jam version.

The link doesn't work: https://gamescodedogs.itch.io/taxesld49 . Your other itch games look cool.

Sky Burns Red by nardandas 2021-10-09T03:05:53Z

Really interesting mechanic and a great take on the rhythm genre where you also have to keep an eye on the background. I think if you toned down the 'wrong note' sound slightly it would help when you are learning.

Flat Earth Balancer by KreGames 2021-10-09T02:51:04Z

Nice work getting so many levels in. I really liked the concept I just wished that it got more difficult as when I finished I was still looking for more.

Displacement by Milestone Games 2021-10-06T05:02:58Z

A very cool mysterious game. The music and waves had a great vibe. It took a few goes to work out what number was needed for the end. I also managed to jump onto one of the floating islands which would be a cool spot for an easter egg.

Sanity Check by BinaryPrinciple 2021-10-06T05:10:08Z

This has great personality with the thoughts that pop up. It did a good job of capturing that interview stress! I think making the jump bigger instead of having a double jump would help simplify the gameplay and let the player concentrate on the goal. Cool being a positive force inside a brain wrapper on a platformer.

The Great Escape of Alim the Magnificent, as told by his aspirant by spawnie 2021-10-06T04:26:40Z

Cool concept and great canvas art style. I liked how you build up the potion combinations and introduced the flying enemy when you got gravity potions to try it out on. I think if you extended it then some cost to throwing a potion would be good so that you had to consider the best combination for what you are facing. At the moment there is no penalty for just spamming out potions, but I think game jams are about finding a cool concept rather than balancing so you have something to work with here :)

The Un's Stable by Kongo 2021-10-09T03:15:41Z

Wow that was great! I loved that you put in quests to work towards to, it was fun making a chicken army. Really great graphics, sound and theme. Awesome job!

Green Leaf and the Garbage Truck by Cookie_CHR 2021-10-06T04:39:17Z

Interesting take on the theme, nice and simple controls. I got 100% caught in the time limit. One thing you can do with this type of game is not have a time limit and speed up the truck instead as it goes along so there is more replay value as I try to beat my previous score.

Trenchmouth by Mords 2021-10-09T03:00:22Z

Great atmosphere and you have a base to work from. At the start it was not obvious what was clickable so some time spent on UI feedback would help, like in XCOM showing the path your unit will take and making the areas you can click on more obvious in the map. Hopefully all this feedback you are getting from the jam will help you make it more polished for your larger game.

Fickle Forest by n00begon 2021-10-06T19:39:12Z

hi @nardandas, yeah it could have used more play testing and polish to get the experience better. The 'Sandbox' mode takes away the click limit so you can try out all the interactions.
