Thanks for taking a look; we're both Rust first-timers, so this was a great learning experience. I added a link to a Linux build to the itch.io page -- I built it inside WSL (cross-compiling was not cooperating), so please let me know if it works for you.
Gameplay is a little RNG, but 10/10 for the shitposting.
Neat mechanic, beware the explosion sound that almost knocked me out of my chair when wearing headphones.

@sammot -- sorry about the frustrating placement experience. The tower placement doesn't snap to the grid, so they require that no part of their hitbox overlaps with the path or blight. This could have been made clearer by either showing a ghost of the tower hitbox as well as the blocking hitbox when placement fails or by offering a toggle to allow grid-aligned placement (this would be especially useful later in the game when you might be trying to fit into one tile; placement is definitely unpleasant in those situations). Glad you enjoyed otherwise.
@stankaholic -- we definitely noticed this before we shipped, but only addressed it with 'r' to reset being available any time. This should have been noted in the UI and emphasized if a "waiting to lose" situation was detected.
@katsuhira -- glad you enjoyed. We'll keep that in mind if we do another tower defense.
