LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

The Sun Returns by Phobos001 2015-12-18T05:22:00

Really cool idea, and I like the sound design. I feel like the controls could be just a little tighter. As it is, I find it more frustrating than fun, as the sun seems to have gobbled up 2/3 of the map before I manage to destroy a single planet.

I actually really liked this one! The controls were tight, though not easy to master at first. There were a good variety of obstacles, and it always kept you on your toes.

And I had a good laugh at the ending :)

Asteroid Panic by Finestep 2015-12-18T05:32:00

Fun, definitely took me back to the asteroid blasting days in a very different way!

Very impressed that you managed to squeeze a multiplayer game into one weekend, that's awesome.

I thought the difficulty was tuned very well, the fuel cells were quite tricky to pick up, but it was definitely doable once you got the hang of it.

If I could nitpick about one thing it would be that sometimes due to the shape of your ship and the shape of the asteroids, you can sometimes get stuck against the wall of a large asteroid for a very long time without any way to turn around.

Two Way Dungeon by Jordan Kniest 2015-12-18T05:40:00

Definitely stands out as unique in the games I've played so far! Quite ambitious going for 3D as well.

BOOM BOAT by bryantdrewjones 2015-12-18T04:37:00

Very nice work! I love your art. It all fits together very nicely.

Grava-Switch by danidre14 2015-12-15T01:19:00

Pretty fun to play, although I'm definitely not the best at these sorts of games :)

I realize that the flashing colors were part of the test subject in a virtual environment setting, but I found them painful to look at =\

I also find the concept of having all your code sitting in a "try it out" window really really interesting. Like now I can hack around with your code, which is a game on its own! Thanks for that!

Hand of Deity by Ludorverr 2015-12-18T04:52:00

Gonna just repeat everyone else -- great job!

Took me a bit to figure out that I could switch spells with the right mouse button, but that's my own fault. Was much more fun once I figured that out :)

Go On by Sean 2015-12-18T05:02:00

Interesting game. I never made it to the end, though I'm not sure that I'm supposed to? Certainly beautifully made and thoughtfully designed. That said, it's appropriate to leave "fun" out of the score-able categories =\

Torque by pianoman373 2015-12-18T05:55:00

Very nice work! You have great level design sense, and the difficulty curve was spot on.

13VS25 - 2D Space Shooter by TripleW 2015-12-15T01:52:00

I like the audio/visual design, but I thought the game was more frustrating than fun.

Himawari (ヒマワリ) by logorrhea 2015-12-14T14:40:00

Sorry Odnetninl, I should have tagged that as untested. I'll play with it tonight when I get home and see if I can't get a working build.

Fun game, especially for such a time constraint. I'm really impressed with the quality of your UI!

The Pits of Mazow by Azor1 2015-12-15T01:05:00

Good use of the theme, and great job designing levels around your mechanics!

I wasn't quite up the skill level to collect some of those blips over the spikes, but I can see how it could be done.

Belly Smash by Drunkain 2015-12-15T00:49:00

Very fun! Nice work all around! I would agree with some that the controls could feel tighter.

Expando-Balls by IanGraven 2015-12-15T01:34:00

Wow this was a really addictive puzzle! Love it!
