LD46 — Keep it alive

The Show Must Go On by Jedeen 2020-04-22T21:15:47Z

Nice game! I felt the good kind of nervous energy scrambling to get the costume + prop combos. Took me a minute to understand what to do to get credit for the right combo, but I ended up winning after a couple tries. Whimsical and fun!

I just want to say that I love that extra people appear in the background after each level, that is a sweet detail.

I love the music and the cute feeling of the game. I wish I had more chances before death, though, and starting over just began to feel defeating. Lovely graphics and design and approachable controls. Cheers!

Beautiful music! Interesting perspective and controls. I already feel addicted to it even though I'm only barely figuring out what to do (but it feels figure-out-able). I love the beach and this game makes me nostalgic. This dvorak user appreciates you specifying that I needed to use qwerty to play! Cheers!

Interesting game! The graphics and music were both good. I loved the look of the levels and the movement of the main character felt very smooth. I kept forgetting which key was for which item. I'm a little sad that the cat had to be portrayed as so dumb to make the story work.

I enjoyed this game! I liked figuring out what was going on and testing my limits on resource management. I wasn't sure what the subroutines were supposed to be accomplishing after it opened up the main options (mission status, resource mgmt, etc.). Two things were kinda quirky: at some point the food production seemed to just continue on its own without using resources (I'd turned it offline, but still had net positive food production), and when I seemed to "win" the game didn't stop or show any message, it just continued counting the distance I'd traveled and the distance I'd yet to travel stayed at 4280km. Fun game tho, and I liked that I could keep playing instead of having to restart a bunch.

Dragon Egg by Heiach 2020-04-25T03:17:42Z

Very cute graphics and nice music. I like the color scheme as well. I echo the Level 2 sentiments others have shared about getting stuck in a scramble loop and not really getting far. I felt like I couldn't move the egg very well and it made the game quite challenging.
