@hanafl0wer Yep, if you keep going down you'll find more portals generated.
Somewhat cathartic to be able to just punch shit, honestly hahahah. I do wish there was some actual end goal though, as it doesn't seem like there is for this entry. I like the art style of this spinoff. Try to add more juice to the combat, like particles and stuff!
Others have said it, but I'll say it anyway: I would have preferred it if the engine you used didn't make a 500MB+ binary, and require me to install some engine redistributable that requires me to restart my computer for some reason lol... Aside from that, not a bad entry. I survived for 10 days I think. It would have been nice to actually see the ants interacting with the hazards (like see them fighting off a giant wasp or spider or something). Nice work.
Very silly idea for this theme, hahahah. It would be great to see you team up with some more people, as you clearly have decent art skills in the making. Having a more rounded game loop will make your art assets shine. Keep it up!
I was holding the shift key the whole time; try to tune the character movement a bit more. Other than that, pretty cool entry. Some of the tasks the creatures make you do are quite annoying & feel like a waste of time, but I think the narrative kept me there until the end. The grave digging animation needs to be faster for example. Nice music and graphics! Overall, great job guys, keep it up!
It was a little too hard too quickly; I only lasted about a minute. It would be nice to see some smoother animations, maybe you can add effects when other creatures spawn in instead of popping them into existence? Fairly appropriate audio for the scene though, hahahah. Neat entry! Maybe try out some engines that don't create a game that uncompresses to over 1GB on my hard drive next time though.
Pretty good for a solo project. The camera gets pretty wacky when you go up the tree; it kinda reminds me of the Alien camera from AvP2 (2001 game by Monolith), which was one of my favorite games as a kid. It's a bit too easy to fall off a branch though. I can definitely see the potential here. Keep it up!
Not bad, I could see this being a popular mobile game. My biggest critique would be it's a maybe a bit too difficult. I like the little octopus guy, and how he reacts to close calls. Keep it up!
Kinda funny lol. Maybe too easy, and honestly I'm okay with that. I found that if you just hold the infect button down, it gives you the "Infecting..." dialog, but the infection doesn't actually start until you press the button again. I also really appreciate the godot single-file distributable. Keep it up!
