One Minute Rogue by Verrazano 2013-12-18T02:59:00
I like the story behind this, and the game was simple yet fun enough for the minute you get. Good job!

I really enjoyed this and would definitely play more as you develop more levels. Grenade jumping was too much fun and I feel like once the level called for it, all the others became less of "how does he want me to beat this?" and more "how can I jump over something with this grenade to win instead?" Not sure if that was intended or not.
I cheated your first level once. Taking the first jump, you can move as the player fades on falling into a hole. I was able to grab the last piece and hit the finish before it faded out, putting me into level 2.
Definitely agree that restarting completely is a bit harsh, especially since some of the levels could get you into situations where there was no way to complete it if you made a wrong move. Other than that, quite a fun game. Good work!
After finally finding the package, I slowly move to the building on my left. Eying the officers at the door, I nod my head and walk by. Do they know why I'm here? It'll be hard to do my job if so.
Halfway up the stairs, I hear voices. The target isn't alone. Peering over the edge, I see two more officers inside. I underestimated this VIP. Still, a job is a job, and this is more important than just one person. The future of our country is at stake.
Opening the package, I assemble my weapon. One bullet. Of course. I guess all my talk of being the best hit the right ears. I peak over the ledge again only to find I wasn't the only one looking around.
The officers rushed me. Crap. As they start to pull me down the stairs, I get an arm free and take aim at my target. I pull the trigger just in time, as the officers overpower me and take me down. And I miss wide left.
Guess it was the wrong ears that my words hit. Could have certainly used some more bullets...
For the simpleness of the setup here, the mood was fantastic. I liked the animation of putting the gun together, and having to act sneakily yet swiftly at the same time. Great job and I hope you feel better.
Definitely need a reset level button for when a fool drops the heavy weight on level 2 into the hole...whoever that person who did that may be...stop looking at me!
I also got stuck in the ceiling after grabbing the Anti-Gravity item on level 2 by jumping high then dropping the item. Seemed like the act of dropping jumped the character up instead of putting the item down, forcing me into the ceiling.
I had fun with the game and I like the concept for sure. Expand on it and keep it going!
(Web version in case it matters)Very neat combat mechanic. I had some issues with hitboxes where I would swing through an enemy and seemingly not touch it. I would have liked a few other enemy types, maybe ones with weaknesses to one attack over the other.
I liked this a lot. Well done!
This is awesome. Love the concept and the implementation of it. Great job.
Early corpse explosions feel like they aren't doing anyway. Might be that the radius is too small or I'm just completely missing the damage it is doing. Quite fun game that gets hectic quick as enemies flood the screen.
Absolutely amazing. I hoped for a way to take out other shoppers to recover items that they were out of on the shelves. Those jerks took all my planes!
Controls were solid but the game is very short. I love games like this. Adding multiple traits would help to make it a little more difficult so you can throw innocents that have one but not the other to throw the player off.
Neat but very short. I couldn't find any sweet spots that really felt like I had discovered something by the carnage it caused. Still replayed it over and over trying to beat my scores though!
The blobs liked to get stuck in the wall on each screen, and I had a few failures due to them getting stuck on me as well.
I like it. Using the teleporter to get around objects was more fun than I expected.
Very neat and gets difficult.
I agree with one of the comments that a distance indicator while you are playing would be great. It also seems you can only shoot if there is a zombie for you to shoot in the shot's path. With the AoE nature of the shots, being able to shoot them however you wanted would be nice instead of having to line up with the creature to actually get a shot off.
This was awesome. Charging up a shot and bowling through what felt like a hundred enemies was rewarding. I'd like to see this expanded.
The moles seemed like they moved faster if I switched from moving diagonally to just horizontal to try and dodge them ,which is backwards I think, since they should be quicker if I am moving towards them. It was challenging to make it far. It was enjoyable enough to play many rounds trying to best my records!
Very well done. Loved it.
The title screen refused to play nice in the waning moments unfortunately. Click the Play button or hit space/enter to start the game. Thanks for any time you put into trying my game!
Thanks for the comments. I do plan on polishing it more and making more interesting levels, so I'll definitely take the grid locking into consideration.
Sorry about the getting stuck on walls issues. It came up after switching the player graphic and I'm still trying to find out exactly why.
I like the concept of the game and it ran smooth for me on Chrome with no issues. Being able to knock ships away made it a bit easy to avoid killing more than one, as did it taking multiple shots to get a kill. A wider shot or closer formations with piercing shots could make the player have to worry more about only getting one kill.
