This looks and feels amazing, could see this as a full fledged mobile game.
I think the music could be turned down alot as it was kinda overpowering the sfxes in the game. While I still think the controls for the motorcycle could be improved, I think it's just me needing to get used to it. I would like a drift option somehow.
@qwantumline - I think it doesn't count if you run over them hard. I was getting that in the last stage.
I love intro art style to this and probably shrieked when granny got her nose shoved with a pair of knitters but I love it.
It is sort of a whack-a-mole style theme and I just want to nitpick it a little. The camera shake gets a little disorientating when I'm going ham, making it very hard to do accurate combos. Also, I would like a sort of visual/audio cue to let me know when it's a good time to spam on the same bunch of balls.
Interesting dynamic where you gain a life every time you get a life.
The retro themed was done well but I felt that the controls were a little clumped. The spacebar paired with the wasd controls makes it hard to shoot and maneuver at the same time. I think you could move the ship movement controls to the arrow keys. Or you could have the shoot button mapped to the mouse.
Omg this is so cute. This would be such a good keyboard practice game for kids. I would love to see more words with awkward spellings like - anchovies/weird/pharaoh (you get the idea). Or it could be some weird pizza toppings/names that the pizza may have (since it is a pizza typing game)
Something that threw me off was that there were similar words that came after one another. I have had a couple of strawberry into strawberry but there wasn't any audio/visual cues to let me know that I've completed the previous word.
Other than that, I love it :)
I love the mood in this. Something about it that I just can't pin point. I think it's the culmination of the soft music with the art. I do wish it had a better progression in terms of getting the seed to bloom, like with less obstacles and a slower building pace and then the further you progress the faster the game progresses.
