Kelp (unfinished) by peppersalt07 2025-04-10T02:46:57Z ♥ 1

loved the atmosphere on this game, is the eye descending supposed to be a whale eye? did you model this or was it a picture, because it was hauntingly beautiful! i'd love to see more from this game in the future

GOLDLOVING STONEHATING IDOL by SurWeaver 2025-04-10T02:37:54Z ♥ 2

this game was really fun! very innovative, felt like puzzlegame of descending into the stardew valley mines. it felt really good to go through those corner-bounce combo sections. the level design was really fun!

one note i have is that it would be really awesome if there was a bit of pressure put on the player to complete stages in a certain amount of moves, maybe the idol can only dash if its collected enough gold previously?

overall, this is really awesome!

beautiful game! im a sucker for some good art, and boy was this good! i did notice some lagging in the final area, but it was still playable

really loved the idea on this, very good innovation. the graphics for the tongue were cool too, how did you do that animation?

also i agree with the previous comment that said that the player needs more pressure to eat fast, i think that would add an interesting aspect to the gameloop

Dungeon Cartographer by finntastico 2025-04-08T23:27:28Z ♥ 3

I really enjoyed the idea of this game, mapping out a dungeon and whatnot. The environment and feel of the dungeon was awesome, and I had fun trying to sketch out the twists and turns of the map. (Sidenote: it would be sooo cool if this had procedural generation for replayability, although I know that 3 days is NOT enough time to implement this)

My main gripe with the game is this: I started my map in the center of the paper, and immediately ran out of space once I got to the kitchen, in the bottom right. I figured out that the selection tool exists (which is an awesome way to fix this issue), but when I selected my map it got cleared!

The Depths of Gitche Gumee by Deruitda 2025-04-08T23:12:32Z ♥ 2

fun to play as I like games of this genre, but the movement feels arduous since there's friction on the walls. the game also feels a tad drawn out given the current features, would've been cool to see some new features as you go deeper (enemies, environmental hazards to watch out for)

overall it was a fun experience, nice work
