From Nothing, To Nothing by khaotom 2019-10-07T21:57:07Z
Really liked the aesthetic of your game, but felt a little bit lost during gameplay. Also enjoyed the sound effects! Congratulations!

Art style is really inspiring, I don't think I ever saw this type of pattern being used in a such good way. The music is exciting as hell, couldn't stop playing - except that I'm not as good as your game requires... but it's fine, I'm kinda tired right now so that's probably making my reflexes less accurate!
Using the notebook touchpad was really satisfying, would love to play this on mobile.
Wow. You two really nailed the theme and it was a very real experience. Best game I played so far, real neat take on the dating sim genre! The girl is indeed a cute girl! So lovely and caring <3
Very well made, loved the voice acting and text. Reminded me of The Begginner's Guide. It's really easy to end up just being cliche, but by keeping the game short you kept the concept intriguing and fun. Congratulations!
I'm amazed, it's such a good idea and I can't remember any other game made something like this before in the tower defense genre.
Really liked the way you sintetized the two elements the player needed to focus (eliminate enemies and protect the orb) into one action, adding a good depth to the strategy aswell.
Seems that you guys know a lot about the theory of flow - while playing, every time I got stressed out by the large number of enemies coming, it was exactly when I was near completing a full circle - creating some space for me as player to breath and start a new strategy while new enemies were arriving. As Danilo said above, definitely one of the best games I've played in a game jam and also going to save the link to use as reference while working on my own projects.
Thanks and congratulation for your achievement!
Hey @selkkie ! Thanks for your comment! Don't worry, it wasn't your fault!!! We're working to fix the enemies being impossible to reach as soon as possible!
Hey @joellikespigs! Thanks for appreciating our submission!
About the meaning of バクラウ: It is kinda of a inside joke/easter egg for us. Most of the team are from Recife, Brazil - and recently a movie called Bacurau (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2762506/) was released here. The film meant a lot for us and we're all still excited and being influenced by it. While deciding the name someone joked about it, saying that we should call it Bakurau as a tribute and the joke stayed funny throughout the weekend - translated into katakana to be less weird for the people that actually knew the movie. In the game, Bakurau is the name of the Shogun's family.

@marcin-j thanks for the advice and for being so considerate! We're definitedly gonna fix it in the next update.
@ahistyap @ithildin @dimlight You guys have no idea how flattered we are to hear that our game reminds them of Sekiro. Thank you! <3
About the screenshot... it probably is a problem with the collider of the pillar blocking the enemy path. It should be fixed by now, but we're going to check again to see what's happening.
The mood is right where it should be, loved it. But I thought I had to put more effort than I wished to use the Sun. Maybe if it wasn't necessary to hold left-mouse button... I don't know, just thought I couldn't completely relax while playing.
Loved the art and music!
