Interesting gameplay. I hope I could end my turn manually without having to use all items.

That little wizard hat on the cover is adorable :D Love the purple colours too.
sweet game, simple but effective. little confused by the movement stuff. fun little sounds! cute guys, loved the snails and the little wizard hat is the best
Nice!! I like the upgrade flow, feels like you can become really powerful in a satisfying and clever way. Graphics are great too! :)
Oh, my suggestion if you were to tweak this: The left and right icons are a sometimes a little hard to wrap my head around on the board... it'd be cool if somehow the visualization of left and right was updated as you considered which way you were facing?? (idk how that would play with the icons when you see them in the upgrade screen though)
Interesting rogue style gameplay! I felt like I didn't quite understand the rules of combat, sometimes an enemy would hit me and sometimes they didn't. It wasn't clear if they needed to face me or not. I also wasn't sure how the choices/options worked, maybe applying stuff to your movement didn't really proc in some cases? Would love more instructions even if it's just in the description :)
Very innovative and solid building gameplay! It seems the core mechanics can support many hours of play if you add more tags and enemies. But I’m not sure how the "Old Tech" theme plays out in the game.
Wasn't really comfortable to control on mobile, but still a nice game! Really liked the sprites
The art and sounds is amazing! Congrats!
Neat game. I like the idea of getting to program your own items. I actually prefered the fact that it makes you stretch your left/right reasoning muscles and didn't give you any indicators. I do think it would be nice for the base items to have some distinguishing factors beyond the initial action, since as it is every item gets kind of homogenized which leads to more repetitive gameplay. I also think it might be more fun if you had a bit less control over the item upgrades, since the funny and interesting part of the game is the chaotic side effects and but you're incentivized to build away from chaos.
Tried a few times and managed to get to level 5. Very cool and cute game
It took me a few tries to really understand the upgrade system. Also because it seemed like the same upgrades seemed to apply to every action ? I'm still not entirely sure since the upgrade screen didn't change when I moved the items around.
None the less, I do like the options presented by the upgrades. Combining movement with a ranged attack definitely opened up my strategies more. Same with combining attacks to attack in multiple directions. I could definitely see myself replaying this more.
I'm guessing there's more I didn't see, but I will say that I liked the enemy design of the green blob. Having it break into smaller blobs definitely made me rethink my plans. More-so to ensure that I didn't get surrounded. That said, I think the bread was kinda useless. The fact that it replenishes only a quarter of your health isn't an issue, but more-so because a single round of this game isn't really all that long so you probably won't make a full heal in time either way.
All that said though, this is still a pretty high quality submission from you ( as always ). Great work on this overall
A bit confusing initially but when I got it I thought it was really clever. I didn't do very well though! I will have to try again and strategise a bit better. The art is adorable.
I really like the innovative gameplay you have going on here. Though I didn't really get what was happening and had to click all over the place a few times before I kind of got it? Thanks for the fun!
It's just casual funny game with interesting mechanic. But where is the theme of game jam?
