It's very creative, but his jumping ability is a bit too strong, which allows me to easily jump from the blocks to the tree, then from the tree to the wall, and finally just climb over the wall to get the battery. Does that count as skipping class? I also noticed that the space above where the battery is located is empty—maybe that's a little clever trick too.d2031033dd2c9a74a06e854e6c8d1fcf.png

HOLY the sensitivity is way too high haha, but yeah cute game :)

Yeah, sensitivity is a bit much. And for the first time I missed the first weapon. And didn't understand what to with with blue boxes. But anyway, it's a finished one level, so like for afford!

@pankun oops, lol - i never managed that but I left the level design until the last hour 😆

Sorry about the sensitive! clearly my mouse is not very sensitive

I made the robot happy! Is there anything else I should do? Just want to make sure I didn't miss anything.

@ruthiepee yep! I wanted to add more things to collect but ran out of time

A cute game. I love voxel graphics. However, as others have already mentioned, the mouse sensitivity is very high, which makes playing it difficult. Still, I enjoyed it!

A fun little game for a 3D game. I like people who make the effort to create 3D content. 👍

I did it, I saved my little robot! b.png

Anyway, this was nice! I also had the sensitivity issue but it was fine on the downloadable build :) It took me a bit to understand how the slingshot works - I wish there was some sort of indicator that you had to hold it down & how far will it be fired - but the boxes blocking the entrance to the battery store served as a good tutorial for that, and by the time the enemies showed up I was ready for them! It was pretty funny beating a bunch of robots with a slingshot. And the phaser was a nice upgrade afterwards, the last one stood no chance whatsoever! The voxel designs were pretty cute too, especially the titular robot. I did get stuck for a bit until finding the button for the door - would've been nice if it was a different color at least - but other than that I enjoyed this!

Not bad! I was able to squeeze past the boxes at the entrance so I never got tipped off to the fact that I hadn't noticed the slingshot on the ground.

The game is quite easy, I think reducing the amount of available health would have given me more of a reason to dodge the enemy missiles, rather than to simply charge through them, which is what I ended up doing.

I think some basic sounds and animations would help a lot as well.

I also suffered from the sensitivity (but then again, my mouse is set to max speed...) but as the enemies were really not hard, it wasn't too annoying. I also first missed that I was supposed to press a button on the wall to open a door, but then got the interaction text when I went close enough, so didn't end up spending that much time going around.

Naturally, quite a small level and easy and quick to beat, but that actually felt pretty nice when playing through many games in the jam, some of them quite long. 🙂 There were some moments when my shots didn't do anything to the boxes but most of the time they did, and that was the only issue I faced, so otherwise everything worked fine.

As many others have mentioned the sensitivity, it would have been an obvious candidate to put a slider for that inside the Settings menu. Right now the settings button doesn't seem to do anything.
