Cool. I like this game but it stutters on my computer
Cool controller and text style. It would be fun to play this in VR
my laptop had to work pretty hard and it ran a bit choppy, but from what I could play I really enjoyed it. Lots of potential here, i'll definitely give it another go on my PC at home :)
No map marker is very realistic... but it makes the game really tough. I really enjoyed the plane controls.
I like the vibes of the game, and the polish is incredible, looking down on the plance and getting the tutorial text was a very nice touch. Unfortunatly I get about 15 fps and crashed into the sea very early on. Would love to see where it evolves from here ๐
Cool gameplay, but too hard for me.
I really enjoyed your flight simulator; everything runs incredibly smoothlyโan amazing achievement for just 72 hours! I know that handling the controls for a large structure within a game engine can be quite challenging, but you pulled it off. Flying in your simulator feels incredibly smooth and enjoyable; I spent an hour and a half flying around and had a great time!
So obviously the first thing I did was kamikaze the ship right in front of you.
I think the flying is fun, and I wish I could really play this game and enjoy the vision you were going for, but I genuinely cannot find a single runway to land on. I feel like an idiot, but I just flew until I eventually crashed looking all over the island to the west.
Hi, I think this is a really cool concept and it fits the theme well. Unfortunately I think the game is a bit too demanding to play in a browser and was VERY glitchy on my gaming laptop. let me know if this is only an issue on my end but I definitely do like the game. the controls were fun to try.
I tested a pico8 compo named [Steam Dasher](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/60/steam-dasher) with a steam boat and some delivery, this is the 3D plane version - with more delivery options !
The controls are good, and as usual with plane it is easier to take off than landing ๐ Cool 3D design, good controls, a manage to land (sometimes ๐ ), I should have read the documentation before taking off the first time. Reading the document while flying is a bad idea !
It's a good experience ๐
Pretty cool game, found it a bit tough for a game jam and more geared towards the sort of time you'd play an actual game for. Very nice in-plane controls and look though!
The plane controls feel great, and the instruments are laid out so clearly that you can figure everything out without needing a manual.
This is so cool!!
The controls are truly great, it took me a while to learn how to fly, but then taking off and landing felt great.
The game in a bit overwhelming, learning the prices and the areas, but it feels immersive for that. I only did a quick test run, but I can see myself playing a lot longer if there were more intensives to do so.
Really really nice job for a solo project. You nailed the controls, it not only felt realistic but also really forgiving. That said, I'm terrible at both flying and navigating, after way too long of playing I wasn't able to make it to a third town. I might give it another try later, cause it was really fun.
A couple smalls suggestions: * Add the ability to get in and out of the plane multiple times * Add the option to use a controller, for those of us that struggle to multi task with looking around and controlling the plane on the same scheme * Flatten the terrain a bit near the first few towns - as an inexperienced pilot I really struggled with the altitude
Don't often see a flight sim in a game jam! Nice concept and execution, though I found the controls to be a bit fiddly to use. Good graphics and sound, pretty good sim engine. Good work -- well done!
I was able to make a few trips to dusktown but need more better planning to get to underhill! really solid game it's a lot of fun just buying supplies and selling them at other airfields. It's nice to get altitude and able to read my papers while flying, relying on terrain association and dead reckoning navigation skills! We get spoiled in flight sims with gps, markers, hud etc, this really brings it back to how it was in the old days!
I was so excited to play this based on the description, especially the manually navigation/exploration.
Unfortunately technical issues prevented me from playing (so I haven't rated, of course).
The game loaded and I saw the B&W scene, but was really sluggish responding to inputs and very choppy at rendering. I was able to look down and start reading the instructions, but then the screen went black and the browser tab crashed. Then I got a pop-up from my AMD Adrenaline software saying a graphics driver had timed out. I restarted, but the second time the whole computer spazzed out and I thought the whole thing was going to crash, but eventually I was able to start task manager, kill chrome, and recover. I didn't dare to try a third time, because I have a lot of tabs, terminals, and IDEs open that I'd hate to wipe.
I watched your first youtube video to get a sense, and it seems like a nice on-theme entry with a ton of cool features. The smoothness of your play experience is very different from what I saw.
Sorry I was not able to play!
Cool flight simulator!
This genuinely had me giggling like crazy. The idea that I would ever be able to land that plane is absurd, but not because it is impossible, but because I'm in no way a competent pilot. tons of fun!
