The intro cutscene where the cat looks left and right is absolutely adorable! The animations are so fluid and full of character, which makes the whole possessed alley cat concept shine. The pixel art and the ancient Egyptian power plant theme look amazing for a 48-hour solo project. It is definitely a hardcore platformer! I think I fell on the spikes at least 10 times in the first couple of minutes, but despite the high difficulty, the controls feel responsive (the wall dodge and crouching are nice mechanics). It's quite challenging, but definitely beatable for those who love high-stakes platforming! Fantastic work! If you have some free time, Iād be super happy if you could check out my retro-tech ASMR cleaning game as well!

@ynukym-academy - I had a quick play - it works really well with a graphic stylus lol ( I use a wacom for digital painting ) - does your game work with Mobile / Multi-Touch? I'll rate tomorrow as it's late here and not open yet. āļø

It's a visually appealing platformer. I love this cat and the visual effects, but the controls are difficult for me.
I tried many times, but I only managed to collect the red and blue gem orbs.
A couple of times, I accidentally managed to double-jump and dash while spamming the buttons, but I can't do it again.
This game left me with mixed feelings.

Great stuff! I had a lot of fun with this game!
The graphics are great, lovely colors and shading.
The gameplay was quite difficult, and a bit frustrating at times. But I got the feeling that was intended. It really sucked me in. I played for about forty five minutes, died close to three hundred times and got all the gems. I spent some time searching for where to go next before I checked the itch description again. The top of the pyramid!
Almost at the top, I fell down into a pit it was very difficult to get out of. I just wanted to hit some spikes and restart at the obelisk I had touched near the top, not the one close to the pit and have to do the whole climb again. In desperation, I tried some keys on the keyboard. Maybe there was a key for resetting at the last checkpoint? Maybe R?
Big mistake. R seems to reset the game? š
Too bad, I would really have liked to see the end.
I got a screenshot earlier in the run, back when I hadn't even died 200 times :P Screenshot 2026-10-19 204930.png
Really fun and well made game. The level design was great!
Here's a little piece of fan art of the lovely protagonist :)

@vidarn Ah nooooo! Yeah, it's very frustrating. I just tried for a best time myself, got it down to 25 minutes haha. I think 'cos I built it in sections, I probably made too many routes mono-directional.
If you wanna see the end, I forgot to remove the debug so you can just hit 1 on the keyboard and fully stack the gems. You still have to get out. ( Wall-Dodge + Left Arrow to do a super-jump - timing is everything )
I may do some tweak to the wall dodge if a lot of people complain, I know I still struggle getting it 10/10 times.
Love the fan art!

hohooooboi! That was punishing! but in a fun was as I am not great at platformers :D Lovely art and audio and I LOVE the way the cat snuggles down to crouch. Great Job!

@johnnysix sorry for the late reply, but thank you! I'm glad I got to see the ending sequence! The outro animation was excellent. Great work overall. I actually appreciated how the level was built in sections, it made a lot of sense and it was nice how it broke it up in manageable challenges.

This is brutally difficult, but still fun enough for me to play it to the end. On my first playthrough I managed to get all but one of the orbs, but for some reason all of the pedestals unlocked. The exit didn't unlock though and after I went and got the final orb it wouldn't accept it and I had to restart the game from the beginning.
My final score (fairly good thanks to the "practice run," lol)
60 deaths and 15 minutes
That music is quite good.

I love the artwork and the music. Almost gave up, but managed to get there in the end. It wasn't clear where to go after placing all the gems. I didn't realise there was a wall jump at first, that changed everything. I didn't like how the slow acceleration made the game feel a bit unresponsive, and bouncing off the walls launches you super far but felt inconsistent at times. Other than that the controls were tight and worked fairly well once you finally get used to them.

Very nice looking game. Got stuck pretty early(?) where you have to wall jump four times to pass the spinning blades and the spikes afterwards.

This is really challenging game. I collected most of the gems. Nice visual and audio. The movement is too hard for me. Overall I enjoied. Good job.

Super hard for me but it looks great! I like that restarts are instant. In this kind of games you'll be dying a lot so it's one of the most useful feature (just after checkpoints:). Also the music is awesome, very well made game.

cool game, great music and graphics, but physics felt inconsistent and that alone got me stuck in the same area for a long while, i understand it's meant to be hard but it really confused me when sometimes i jumped a normal height and sometimes i barely left the floor, but i'm sure if you fixed that it'd be a really awesome platformer
the pixel art here is really impressive. the possessed cat and the egyptian setting look fantastic, and the crouch animation is a great touch.
the difficulty is brutally hard though. the platforming feels really punishing, especially with how precise some of the jumps have to be around the saws and spikes. and honestly, the wall dodge felt a bit inconsistent to me ā sometimes it launched me further than i expected, which made sections feel a bit unfair rather than just challenging.
if you could tweak the physics to make the movement feel more predictable, it would be a really solid platformer. great job on the visuals!
I remember seeing a post about this game right at the beginning of the jam, and I already had a feeling I was going to like it. And yeah, I wasn't disappointed!
The pixel art looks great, and I really love the whole Ancient Egyptian aesthetic. The music fits the setting so well too, it really adds to the atmosphere. There's something about this combination of art, music, and Egyptian mythology that just works.
And of course, every good game needs cats! Especially when we're talking about Ancient Egypt. Really happy I finally got to play this one after seeing it so early in the jam. Great work!

I mean, main character is a cat, you have all my love already. But controls and physics... ouch. Those were hard for me! I'm not too fond of hard platformers, so yeah, it might be me :D Game looks fantastic, though!

Promising start, but the game just feels too punishing. The save points do help a lot. Gathered a couple of gems, but eventually gave up after dying fifty times. Graphics and mood were good. Platforming could be improved.

Great art and music! Especially the way the cat spins when jumping. Some good ideas in here, but the collision feels very punishing. Controller support would be really nice.
After 3 gems, 115 deaths and my promising and hard-to-get-to checkpoint getting overwritten by a less useful one accidentally, I eventually gave up. It was so punishing it's kind of funny. But the visuals and general atmosphere are really nice. As for the difficulty, for me it came down to 4 things:
- the very slow acceleration of the cat - not being able to move sideways while crouching - not seeing far enough ahead to know where you have to go in some cases (like me jumping into a useless checkpoint without realizing) - the timing of some of the spikes and platforms being very unforgiving, and some jumps and wall jumps requiring perfect timing and placement
I would gladly play it again if these things were a bit closer to my level of competence as a player. :P
