I had fun, even if I wasn't 100% sure what was going on. The threat mechanic and lure mechanic was hard to understand. Still not sure what stability is and how to spend it. But the moment-to-moment of chasing an invisible enemy was genuinely fun despite that!
cute game
Such a unique UI! The interface has this esoteric vibe — love it, I'm really into that style! I ran into a bug where sheep started spawning out of nowhere, but a refresh fixed it. Interesting take on the theme! Thanks for the experience.
A very interesting game! I don't exactly understand what's going on with the things beyond stomping, but I felt like what I believed helped somehow, and I got through the main levels. The art is cute too
An interesting take on the theme, I enjoyed hunting the rogues, but as other commenters said, it was hard to figure out what happened after you win or lose. Maybe a replay system where you can see what the invisible rogues were doing might help understand the mechanics better. My winning strategy was using the beacon to lure rogues to my position and then stomping when the signal got loud. That got me through the campaign, but was difficult for the endless mode without retries lol.
Still, a very good entry! Thanks for the Linux version as well!
Nice game and well done! Although I'm not sure why sometimes there's a big signal but nothing to be found, overall it's very easy to pick up, and the cyberpunk/electronic visual style is great. Maybe the electric sheep setting comes from Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Anyway, like it!
Cute - I think the tracking and identifying of multiple pulses is very good, but I dislike the hostile pulses. For a game that seems to be mostly about pattern identification based on positioning, punishing the player for taking their time to think an assess seems counterproductive. Perhaps it would have been better served as signals that are harmful to try and catch, to make the player distinguish between regular and 'false positive' ones, as opposed to rushing a partial conclusion to avoid damage.
It’s really surprising that a jam entry actually comes with a full tutorial. The mechanics for signals and beacons are really well done. Great job!
10/10 for the visuals But I really didn't understand the gameplay or what my actual mission was. After a bunch of random wandering, I somehow completely lucked my way into 500 points.I was totally lost while playing it!
A great way to unwind and relax.
I don't understand how unsafe signal works. I only spawn and die immediately. But i like visual and game sound. Also i don't understand how beacon and scan works. And what difference between searching by panel in left up corner and by scan.
Really cool little signal-hunting game. I didn’t fully understand every system, but stalking invisible rogues by sound and signal was weirdly satisfying, and the UI has a very unique vibe. Feels mysterious in a good way, though some mechanics could be explained better.
I was kinda lost how the signal worked, and the danger signals seems unavoidable. I personally would have preferred it to be a turn based game instead of real time
It's all good, but a web version would be really nice 😇
