Lovely art style and a fun little mechanic with the thrown lights to discover the level. I had a lot of fun and that hard level really takes a lot of trial and error lol. There's no coyote time which makes one of the jumps hard but that feels intentional. Music was great but I was playing so long it had to tune it down lol. Great job, I really like this one (- u -)=

Really fun game with great art style, music and mechanics. Movements feel smooth and level design merged really well with gameplay, and I like throwing light balls at spiders:) Great work

Oh, it's really cute! I like the graphics and the overall vibe of the game. The mechanics are cool too, and some parts are challenging, but I enjoyed the time I spent going through them 😉
great job!! reallty enjoy it!!!!
@artificer Thank you for your comment!YUME0 was responsible for all the art assets and the map and environment beautification for our game. We all agree she is an incredibly talented artist.

It plays pleasantly. It looks beautiful, wow. Collecting light to live is a cool idea.

I like the pixel art, especially on the character and crystals! Controls felt smooth, maybe a little bit floaty, and a little bit unforgiving on the spike hitbox. It was a neat idea to make throwing the light trigger the spider creatures.

The cover of this game gives me a very warm and heartwarming feeling. I'm not a very good platformer player; I always end up dying on spikes. Just a small suggestion: every time we return to a checkpoint, would it be better if the light source could be fully replenished? 0 0
@yuriscat Thanks for playing! That's a great point about the energy recharge. We intentionally designed it that way because if we instantly refilled the light energy at checkpoints, players might spam the abilities (like the light orb and flash), which could cause performance issues we want to avoid. You might be right, though—maybe the recharge is too slow, or the checkpoint light makes it hard to see the main character's energy level. We'll look into that!

@shelter132 You reminded me that this could indeed cause performance issues! Once again, praise for your amazing artwork!

The title screen is so cute! Really nice art overall and I like the music and the way the death sound plays into it. Lack of coyote time made some of the jumping a bit hard to time, but that wasn't an issue for me until the harvest level.

Great game overall! The artwork caught my eyes when I was scrolling throught the games and the graphics didn't disappoint! I liked that there was some story but it would've been great if the story was somehow more implemented into the game. The music kinda got to my nerves at some point xd because it was so repetitive troughout the game. The gameplay was fun and the mechanics were great! Overall fun game! Great job!
@a4po Thanks for your comment! I was responsible for the programming and the original music. Since my primary focus was on development, I only had time to compose a short, looping BGM. It's not as polished as I'd like, but with more time, I'd definitely create something better. Thanks again for playing!
A very beautiful and polished game.
The art is beautiful, and the gameplay is very easy and intuitive.
The music loop could be a little longer.
Congratulations!

Great game! The art style is really nice and I love the different ways you can use your light to find the way forward.

What an adorable entry! I actually made a prototype with exact same mechanic for my 1st year student project, but you went completely next level! I think there is room for improvement in terms of controls and how much time you have before you die, but the core mechanic is solid. Just keep in mind that since this is a time based mechanic a lot of players may feel stressed playing this - make them stay for longer!
Nice short platformer! It doesn't feel like collector since you can leave some light orbs and progress the game. But the platformer challenge should make up for that. I only wish abilities cost less light cause currently it's best not to use them to save light and time.
