Quite hard game, but I managed to beat the final boss. The art is quite beautiful I like it a lot. The controls are frustrating. Moving with Arrow keys, but esc and z being the undo and withdraw keys makes it awkward. I would make movement be on WASD at least optionally. The movement is also annoyingly slow and clunky. It would be much nicer to have free movement rather than single direction. The cards could use some icon indicators for a few things, especially flying. That would help a lot, as well as a more convenient way to sort through the cards, those little buttons are not very nice to use.
Still, overall the game is well done, the puzzle was satisfying to solve and the art is great.
Really interesting puzzle game! Here's some feedback based on my experience:
Cards could be easier to identify – maybe the card frame could have a color based on the type? The attack value blends with the background and makes it difficult to see clearly.
I imagine it's difficult, but if there was some way to quickly indicate the special effects of the cards, perhaps including some symbols on the card to quickly know at least the type of effect – whether the card increases or decreases power, or if the creature flies.
The card order feels a bit strange – it would be nice if all the cards were on screen and you didn't need to press the arrows to see hidden cards off-screen.
A fun puzzle game. I like the art and the monster descriptions a lot too. Lack of WASD controls + esc and z was painful. I wish there was a way to withdraw just one monster though. Near the end if I placed the wrong monster it was oops time to withdraw my fleet and try again.
I can’t rate you :((( Your game looks amazing but you probably messed up something in settings. Try uploading your game as JAM project IMG_7844.jpeg

Such cute art
美术做得好棒!喜欢,怪物的主题也很用心,整体很协调,但是操作上确实稍微有一点反直觉,瑕不掩瑜!喜欢!
A truly unique game, especially loved the art design and audio! It was surprising how the authors interpreted the theme with such broad strokes, working in the monster breeder genre. We thought about doing something similar but couldn't come up with such an elegant and minimalist solution)

@ira-baciu Sorry and thanks so much of pointing out! We made a mistake of disabling rating when publishing. Now rating should be available.

@archimagus @starduster Thank you for the feedback! We are uploading a fixed version enabling WASD to move. The withdrawal of a single monster is a little difficult for the current code structure and we will be working on it.

Excellent game, the puzzles have a ton of depth. If you take this further, in addition to what other people have said, I think that when a creature is buffing/debuffing its neighbours it should indicate that on hover i.e. when your mouse is over it the creatures it is debuffing get highlighted in red for example.
Great looking game! Unfortunately I don't understand the combat system at all. Monsters increase their values for some reason and I can't beat them.
@lsy As for uploading the fixed version, just make sure you keep the original uploaded and marked as the official submission for ratings. Having a fixed version available is generally acceptable I think, as long as it's clear which one is the original for ratings.
Cards are nicely drawn and mechanics is creative. Personally, I think it might be better if there is just a board and monster spawning on the board, without the character walking part. That would make the game more focused on the core mechanics and prehaps more time for other stuff.

Game quite complex. Guys your music guys should learn some notes or smths. The music gives me The Shaggs vibe
The game makes me nostalgic for flash games))

Unique look, i like the childish graphics, however audio is not great and pretty boring. Mechanics and movement are frustrating. Overall not greatest jam but good try. Good luck next time, maybe smaller scope would do you good.
It's nice to see this kind of graffics in game, the art dirrection is very pretty!

Conceptually this is really cool and I like the approach to the logic puzzles. The UI/UX kind of got in the way a little bit, but overall this is a really strong jam entry. I think it would really shine with getting all the game art, UI, and text just a bit more visually matched.

Very hard game, but I somehow make it. Good job! ^_^
The concept is interesting and can probably work well in either a puzzle or tactics-like game. The graphics and the musics are very nice, and quite original ! The problem with the game tho, is in its UI. It would have been easier if the player could remove summons individually, or use the mouse-wheel to pass through the captured creatures. It was interesting to play, but a bit cumbersome because of this. Still liking the concept.
